It noticed me and swung one of its massive hands, trying to swat me like an insect.

But I vanished and reappeared in front of its face. I swung my sword and cut both of its eyes in a single motion.

It grabbed its face and rolled on the ground in desperation.

Then Mikoto’s attack came.

I teleported behind her as she swung her sword.

She didn’t shout or anything—she simply swung while staring forward with a serious expression. A massive blade of light cut through everything in its path, including the giant Orc’s body.

Split in half, it died instantly.

Mikoto, breathing heavily, turned around.

Our eyes met, and she smiled.

We looked at each other for a moment, both smiling, before she said, "I thought this ability didn’t use much magic, but I’m exhausted. Hahaha."

I walked over and picked her up in my arms.

"You did a good job."

Since Mikoto was tired, I decided to stop for the day. With her in my arms, I teleported back to my room and laid her on my bed.

"I’m dirty—I’ll stain the bed. I should get up," Mikoto said.
