Seth Quinn was a little irritated. ’This woman... she actually doesn’t believe me!’ He really wanted to grip her chin hard, but the problem was, he just couldn’t bring himself to do it.

He cupped her chin, his touch surprisingly gentle. Clara Grant kept her head tilted up to meet his gaze, her eyes, as clear as spring water, looking exceptionally bright and limpid.

"When you wanted to marry me, you said you were only interested in my body. How am I supposed to know that all you’re thinking about right now isn’t just my body?"

Seth Quinn stared into her eyes for a moment before a smirk played on his lips. His voice, devilishly charming and bewitching, rang out. "Being interested in a woman’s body is one way of expressing interest in her."

Seeing that he hadn’t denied his interest in her body, the light in Clara Grant’s once-clear eyes instantly dimmed. "You..."

But she never got to say another word, because his lips had already captured hers.

His kiss was as domineering and forceful as ever, yet it was laced with a tenderness she had never felt from him before.

There was an urgency mixed in with his slow savoring, as if he were desperate to prove something.

Clara Grant blinked, her gaze fixed on his closed eyes. His long lashes trembled slightly, and with them, so did her heart.

By the time the kiss ended, Clara Grant was gasping for breath, her pretty face flushed crimson. Her full lips were now slightly swollen and red.

Clara Grant’s lashes fluttered as she slowly opened her eyes. But when she saw Seth Quinn looking down at her with a smile on his lips and a teasing glint in his eyes, she snapped them shut again, her face growing even redder.

Seeing her eyes squeezed shut, Seth Quinn chuckled. He couldn’t resist pecking her lips a couple more times before pulling her into his arms and sitting down on the sofa.

Clara Grant buried her face in his chest, not daring to open her eyes for a long time.

"Do you believe me now?" Seth Quinn’s voice rumbled from above her.

Clara Grant’s mind was a total blank. Not even registering his question, she instinctively shook her head.

"Hm?" Seth Quinn lifted her chin again, preparing to prove his point with another demonstration.

Clara Grant opened her eyes to see him leaning in for another kiss. It was only then that she understood his question, and she hurriedly nodded.

Satisfied, Seth Quinn pecked her lips one last time. "So, my dear wife," he asked cheekily, "are you satisfied with your husband’s kissing technique?"

Clara Grant pouted and blurted out, "You rogue! You’re so good at kissing. Did you get all that practice with a lot of other women?"

Finished, she tilted her chin up and asked, half-joking and half-serious, "Tell me. Were you and Autumn Shelby ever this... intimate?"
