She quickly composed herself, raising an eyebrow at Chloe Grant. "And?"

Though her attitude was still far from friendly, she was clearly willing to hear more.

Chloe Grant naturally understood her meaning and continued, "And if she is the obstacle between you and President Quinn, I have evidence of a stain on her past—enough to help you kick her out of the picture."

Although Autumn Shelby remained perfectly still, showing no outward reaction, her eyes betrayed a keen interest, and her heart thrilled with excitement.
