Chapter 391: Transferring the God

I couldn’t remember the name of the place, but I could remember where it was located in the red-light district.

It didn’t take us long to get there, and the sun had just finished setting, its light still spilling over the horizon slightly to create an amorous atmosphere for where we were.

When we actually reached the place, I took a look at the sign hanging just above the entrance door and it read ’Sensual Coils’.

"Uh, why are we here?" Shirayaa asked as she shrunk her head into her shoulders and looked around cautiously.

It was most likely because this was one of the few places where orphans could have a chance of actually getting even a half decent life, degrading themselves for the pleasure of others. And unfortunately, not all of them were able to make it that far.

Even for those that do make it there, they become shells of their former selves, not even bothering to acknowledge their past.

She probably thought I wanted to make her part of it or something stupid like that, but no, I only brought them here because it would be less hassle to book a room for the night compared to anywhere else.

When we entered the building, the receptionist got up and greeted us in a somewhat cheery yet also sultry tone, "Welcome, what can we be doing with you today?"

"I’d like to book a private room for the four of us, no extra services needed thanks." I answered in an equally cheery tone, but without any subtle undertones.

The mood of the girl immediately plummeted upon hearing what I said. "Oh, okay. That’ll be ten large silver coils a person please."

I nodded and handed her forty silver coils from my coin pouch which I had gotten out earlier at the restaurant.

But before I could hand them to the receptionist, a voice called out to us.

"Now, now, don’t be rude to our customers Zystaryaa." And it was a familiar voice at that.

I turned to my left to see Cryztia leaning cooly against a wall with a light smile and dreamy eyes as she looked at me.

She pushed off of the wall and slithered over to me, making sure to show off her body as she came over.

"Miss me? I know I missed you." She whispered into my ear as she leaned onto my left arm, squishing it between her boobs.

All of this took me by surprise because I would’ve thought that she had forgotten me, what with time being altered and all that.

"You remember me?" I expressed my shock, not overly bothered by her advances on me.

"Of course, why wouldn’t I?" She stated with absolute certainty.

"Because- You know what? Never mind." I figure it would be best if I didn’t bother explaining all of this to her. Most of it would probably go over her head.

"I won’t pry, but I would like to know why you’ve come back, and with company this time. Did you bring them here for pleasuring, or to be pleased?"

I won’t deny that her advances certainly are tempting, and the others all look to be somewhat enthralled, I was not.

"As much as I’m sure I would enjoy that, I will have to decline I’m afraid. I just need somewhere to stay and this was the first place that came to mind."

Cryztia raised her brow but backed off respectfully. "Alright then, that’ll be nine large silvers per person."

"Wha- B-But mistress!" The receptionist Zystaryaa shouted out in disbelief.

In response to that, Cryztia merely glared at her employee with a frown, which was enough to shut her up.

"I’ll... Just pay the forty silvers since I already have it out. Don’t worry, you can keep the change, I don’t really care about money."

"How kind. Let me lead you to your room for tonight then."

I thanked Cryztia for her kindness and ushered for everyone to follow along which they did, albeit a little reluctantly.

When we arrived at the room, Cryztia opened the door for us, revealing a decently sized room with a bed that was large enough for the four of us to sleep on.

I thanked Cryztia for her generosity and she merely said that I could make it up to her another time, just the two of us.

I promised that I would definitely come back for her and gave her a goodbye kiss on her cheek, making her a little flustered as she slinked off to either rest or serve another customer.

As for the rest of my group, we all got up on the bed and they finally asked me what this was all for, dragging them all the way into the red-light district and booking a single room for all four of us in a brothel.

"Well, the first reason is because we wouldn’t face anywhere near as much opposition for booking a room. I will never understand how people can tell between an orphan and a normal person."

"That’s because we’re unclean in their eyes. They think that because we have no parents, we don’t deserve anything, that we shouldn’t even have a right to live." Shirayaa’s fists trembled as she spoke, her teeth chattering in rage.

"Well, that’s... Incredibly fucking retarded. Why the fuck is that the way our society works?" I blurted out in stupefied shock. Then I shook my head, "No, now’s not the time for this. And that’s not why I brought you here either."

Ash then asked, "So then why did you bring us here?"

"The first and main reason is to give Asty something I promised a long time ago, but never got around to giving."

"What is it?" Asty’s eyes sparkled as she eagerly awaited my answer.

"Your God." I stated flatly.

The pure gobsmacked face on little Asty’s face when I said that, and even everyone else’s too, were unforgettable. I had to hold my laughter in, barely even able to hold back a smirk.

"Wait... That dream was real?!" She screamed, her mouth gaping wide as she revelled in shock.

"Yes, that ’dream’ was indeed real. And, sorry for not giving it to you earlier, I kind of just forgot. Shit happened and well... It slipped my mind."

"I’m getting a God?" Asty didn’t seem all that bothered that I forgot, she was more exited about the prospect of having a God all to herself.

I suppose it makes sense, she is still quite young after all. Still technically a child after all. All of us are actually, some of us have just matured faster than others.

Anyways, after calming Asty down, I finally sat down with her to give her the Serpentine Ice God.

This began by pressing our foreheads together to establish a connection point so that I could then transfer the God over to Asty.

The next step was actually to bring the God out from within myself, which was harder than one might think.

I may have been able to get into Asty’s Soul Space, but I never seem to be able to go into my own of my own volition. Still, I had a feeling I wouldn’t need to do so here.

And after a few minutes of concentration, and keeping Asty still, I was able to feel something coming out of me after calling for so long.

A chilling feeling rose up from deep within my soul as I felt it slithering out of my soul, eventually reaching my forehead and slowly slipping out and through Asty’s forehead and into her soul.

The moment it started to go into her soul, she started to fidget, but I held her in place and to relax and just let it happen.

She did relax, though I could still feel her trembling slightly, so I pulled her into a hug which seemed to calm her down enough and stop shaking.

For a while, we just hugged each other as the God’s soul transferred itself over from me to her. And at some point, it was done.

The moment it was done, I felt Asty shiver as a chilling air erupted from her body, enveloping the room in its cold embrace.

I pulled back from her and saw her eyes closed. And I countered this chill with a simple ember of fire from my hand, not quite hot enough to disrupt the transformation going on within Asty, but just enough to prevent the cold from affecting the rest of us.

And I had to slowly make it hotter as Asty got colder, her face turning extremely pale as her hair also started to turn a pure snowy white.

Frost started to build up around her body and where her tail was laid out on the bed.

"Traytora!" Ash yelled in a slight panic, her gravelled voice cracking slightly.

I knew that she would be worried, but I told her to just watch and wait, as unlike last time this happened, it wasn’t some kind of demonic possession, but rather a mutually beneficial pact that would mainly benefit Asty more than the God.

It wasn’t long before the cold was suddenly absorbed by her and she opened her eyes once again.
