A Sorcerer’s Journey
Chapter 1123 - 1125: War of Civilizations (22)
"Green Beast, something feels off about the atmosphere."
Standing on the high platform of the fourth frontline, Green, wise, learned, mysterious, and majestic, was admired by the low-grade wizards passing by. The war of civilization was an era of legendary creation in the history of the Wizard World. Achieving feats in it was almost equivalent to gaining eternal fame.
Undoubtedly, in this civilization war, at least within this base, the name of the Stigmata Sorcerer of the Oblivion Tower has begun to spread quietly along with the wizards stationed together.
Among these wizards, some will undoubtedly survive the war to the end and, through them, the name of the Stigmata Sorcerer of the Oblivion Tower will be passed down, providing material for future wizards to celebrate the heroic figure of ancient wizards, forging the Wizard’s Will together.
"Indeed... something is not right!"
Green gazed, not just at the power of the Space-based Annihilation Cannon, which was much weaker than before, but across the distant frontline, there was no attempt by the Void Fleet to assault through the breach torn by the Space-based Annihilation Cannon on the wizard line. Instead, there was a full-scale attack!
Is this the stance for the final battle?
If so, it seems that in terms of underlying strength, the Moonlake Holy Tower Base still holds the upper hand, and this Metal Destroyer Legion is about to falter first.
Woo...
The melodious horn sounded across the fourth frontline, behind it was the sorcerer’s cloak barrier. Repair wizards were racing against time to fix the energy nodes. A large group of exotic creatures from distant space was falling into the Radiated World, being annihilated by the wizards.
"It’s the emergency assembly horn, quickly, gather urgently!"
One after another, low-grade wizards scattered in all directions of the fourth frontline heard the horn and rushed to gather at the Stigmata Sorcerer in their respective areas. Green and Xiao Ba on his shoulder turned their gaze toward the Stigmata Sorcerer of the 335th District who sounded the horn.
The fourth frontline was managed by the 335th District.
"Damn it, it looks like the final battle is indeed about to begin. That old bastard of the Moonlake is in a sealed state. I wonder which guy the Wizard World will bring in."
Just as Xiao Ba was speaking, Green suddenly turned his head as if sensing something, looking into the distance.
Over there, a terrifying creature that made Green shiver with unease was rapidly approaching the base. Could it be dispatched from within this Radiated World?
With magic fluctuation, as Green concentrated, the six pairs of compound eyes kept blinking. The Eye of the World at the center of his forehead suddenly burst into a dazzling light. The world in Green’s eyes instantly turned into a structure of black and white dots and lines. When extending the super sight distance, he could finally barely see clearly. It was a towering giant made of countless strange strands of hair intertwined, looking extremely grotesque and terrifying.
Around this terrifying creature were tens of millions of smaller creatures, each appearing to be composed of tangled hair, threads, or ribbons.
These were native creatures born from the Radiation Grand World, radiation creatures!
"It’s the Swaying Soul Sovereign."
Through these radiation creatures, Green had confirmed the identity of the arriving sovereign. As a native sovereign, Swaying Soul held the upper hand with the World’s Power advantage, whereas the Sovereigns from the invading world were somewhat suppressed by the world origin. Consequently, this sovereign’s strength level was one that not an ordinary sovereign would want to engage directly.
It was only logical to call upon this sovereign to confront the Metal Destroyer on the Space-based Annihilation Starship.
"Damn, right, this world’s Wizarding Alliance is on the defensive. Master Eight, how did I forget that, hahaha... ha!?"
Just as Xiao Ba was laughing proudly, the core of the fortress base behind them began to stir violently, space twisting intensely, as if the entire Radiated World was trembling. Yet it did not repel, but rather embraced, with a grand world’s origin deep enough to accommodate the descent of any life!
"Who is it?"
Green and Xiao Ba, along with those on the war front and the Metal Destroyer robots, all looked over. With multiple direct combat experiences, the Metal Destroyer Legion knew that the Wizards mastered such a means, that wherever the Wizard’s Will covered, reinforcement would rush to aid at the fastest speed possible, unifying the whole Wizarding Alliance to advance and retreat together.
In the violent space fluctuation, thunder pierced the sky, bolts of lightning meandered through the radiation light, and the power of elements rolled across the sky. Subtly, Green seemed to glimpse scenes from the Ancient Dragon Great World.
"Could it be..."
Just as Green was speculating, an eerie laugh suddenly resounded from the depths of the base where winds and clouds surged. Under the suffocating pressure, the vast battlefield’s power of elements flowed toward that spot, spreading endless blackness.
The sky instantly turned gloomy, not a ray of light remained. Occasionally, even Metal Robots succumbed to the darkness, falling from the sky like raindrops.
Even some Trick Crystal Terminators had their strong pink auras compressed to just around their bodies, leaving only a pitiful little light point wandering over their surfaces.
Metal, energy, and flesh mixed into an Elemental Embodiment, the Seven Rings True Spirit Wizard who pioneered the light and dark sorcerer’s rule, has descended!
Green was taken aback—it was merely a few centuries since he used the Titan’s Ring of Loss to enslave King Abaddon of the Purgatory Giants, and now the Wizarding Alliance had sent a Seven Rings True Spirit Wizard to descend!
A massive figure that seemed like a Skyholding Giant, with an endless elemental force gathered around like a giant vortex, devouring the vast energy from all directions, obscured the view of the true body, overlooking everything on the vast battlefield.
Exuding a tranquil yet eerily chilling pressure, it instantly spread to the edge of the war front. Under its gaze, any creature below the dominator was merely like fleeting firefly lights of varying brightness.
A troop close to the base was caught in its gaze. Countless low-level robots, after a sudden struggle, inexplicably became stiff, plummeting from the sky.
Crack, crack, crack...
With each step came layered space shock ripples, the cloudy looming giant of thousands of meters slowly emerged amidst the swirling volatile elemental force. The two pupils of bright and dark intertwined like burning flames, emanating a captivating, soul-stirring light.
That giant turtle... Heaven Peak Giant Turtle!
Once after the Green Holy Tower qualification battle, the giant turtle Green went to was hailed as the Heart of the Wizarding World. It was this very Heaven Peak Giant Turtle, with five mountain peaks on its shell. Atop the mountains with no castle, it was inhabited solely by mechanical puppets, welcoming wizard apprentices once every century.
That giant tree... Tree of Life!
The Seven Rings True Spirit Wizard, not only integrating metal, energy, and synthetic beast flesh and blood into the true body but also attempted to fuse a fourth element, the power of life.
The giant tree bloomed upon the Seven Rings True Spirit Wizard’s left arm, condensed and gathered, with a vast life force forming something akin to a gigantic shield.
The right arm held a Magic Wand entwined with light and dark, with two dragons playing with a pearl biting into a black smoke-wrapped energy crystal, holding some unknown power.
And that most dazzling radiance, tightly gripped by the hand holding the Magic Wand, was an ancient, upright, fiendishly passionate ring!
Blazing with fiery solar-like brilliance, dazzling and wild, fierce and unruly—that was the Furnace of Purgatory wielded by Abaddon!
Next to Abaddon, the old-fashioned ring now sported numerous additional intricate patterns, yet incomparable to the level of the glowing patterns of King Abaddon of the Purgatory Giants, utterly overshadowed.
"Abaddon... Sovereign?"
Green, gaze fervent, looked up at the Titan’s Ring of Loss, incredulous that in merely a few centuries, this King of the Purgatory Giants, under the Seven Rings True Spirit Wizard’s assistance, had ascended to a dominator!?
Holding a Titan’s Ring of Loss with the Will of a Dominator!?
"Damn! Opening the true body without consuming the Soul of the Dominator, this little fellow has advanced to an eighth-level True Spirit Wizard? No! Impossible! Could it be..."
Xiao Ba was equally perplexed, also staring at the Titan’s Ring of Loss.
