A Sorcerer’s Journey
Chapter 1164 - 1165: Deep Insights
The meticulously cooked food was delivered to the gym.
Although in reality, humans are so close to each other, the designers of the Void Mothership have meticulously designed the gym as a place for fitness, communication, and relaxation, providing a full set of facilities and the most detailed services to allow people, after a long void voyage, to engage in emotional intimacy and confession, uniting the group.
However, over the long evolution, the new humans have perfectly integrated with Skynet, using it as a bridge between people. Humans are more accustomed to understanding everything outside through Skynet rather than dealing with it personally. Even those close at hand must be approached via Skynet as an intermediary.
In the continuous process of evolution, people constantly pursue faster, bigger, farther, more comfortable, and more meticulous advancements. The combination of the perpetual motion machine and Skynet gave new humans infinite possibilities, and the once-pursued efficient utilization became a useless term, leading to medium strategic weapons like the Void Mothership maintaining some relatively old design layouts instead of more efficiently adapting to the new human’s evolution.
What people pursue is to become a Skynet Cyberbrain ID player and transform into a Metal Destroyer with divine power, mastering the unknown world.
The birth of the Metal Destroyer has given new humans a brand new future, but it also took away some of their colorful hopes.
In a hidden silhouette, Green followed beside the life robot delivering the cooked food, like a floating specter, analyzing the ingredients and some craftsmanship within the dish through the powerful olfactory perception of Hunting Nose Witchcraft.
Food is one of the most important clues in studying the direction of cultural development of biological groups. Unfortunately, Green couldn’t find any valuable clues from these foods.
Or rather, this itself is the greatest value.
This is primitive ecological food evenly processed through the simplest heating method, without much flavor or sensory difference in color and smell, not even in temperature, as it remains at the perfect warm state.
According to Green’s wizard aesthetics, any ingredient would be turned into a mass of the gentlest mush under the cooking of these biological robots!
The gym contained all kinds of fitness devices, in a dazzling array, quite numerous.
Though not suitable for Green’s size, peering through the essence, he could still instantly discern the uses of these fitness equipment. Some were for lower limbs and cardiorespiratory exercises through walking, some for stretching bones and muscles, some for body flexibility, and others for creating a meditation-like atmosphere.
Yet, at this moment, all new humans in the gym were only on a massage chair, letting countless Mechanical Arms perform full-body care massages, while they engaged in various activities through Skynet.
As for those "primitive and backward" exercise devices, no one used them, as if they were merely decorations or antiques on display.
Leaving the gym, Green arrived at a place similar to a library. However, apart from a few sporadic and orderly robots, there wasn’t a soul in sight.
The books here were also made of a synthetic metal, yet felt delicate and skin-like to the touch, devoid of metal’s coldness.
"Without strong physiques and no longer cherishing knowledge books, what is the existence significance of this biological group?"
Green then went to the bathroom.
Though this biological species still possessed male and female distinctions, in Green’s view, their reproductive capacity is quite low. The cells seemed activated as if genetically manipulated by Bloodline Sorcery, thus affecting the reproductive system.
Unfortunately, Green wasn’t aware of the genetic engineering principles once explored by the Metal Destroyer civilization.
The water temperature in the bathroom always stayed at an appropriate level. Under Green’s Micro-Vision Eye, these water flows seemed purified in the most thorough way, without a trace of impurity, akin to the water elements gathered by the Source of Magic Power.
Green naturally pursed his lips.
These delicate and fragile lives can only continue to survive under such meticulous care.
But what is the reason the powerful Metal Destroyer civilization cares for these fragile and tender beings this way? Could it be for the so-called diversity of species, cultivating them like specimens in a Wizard’s Laboratory? 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Hmm, hmm, oh, oh...
With strange sounds, Green, after sneaking into an isolated room, stared in shock at the scene before him: a fragile humanoid life form was mating with a Metal Robot!?
This is impossible!
The Metal Robots...
Green increasingly felt that, although he previously assumed to understand the Metal Destroyer civilization quite well, once he truly started to comprehend this civilization, he realized that he knew nothing at all, just like how those native lives perceive Wizards. They only see the vast Slave Legion and terrifying Space Fortresses, never understanding the true Wizard World.
And at this moment, he was like those native beings.
Through heart rate frequency, respiratory frequency, and voice analysis, then patiently observing experimental studies, Green gradually reached his experimental conclusion: they weren’t mating. The Metal Robot was merely a highly realistic self-pleasure device, providing bodily instinctual pleasure to the female humanoid, nothing more.
Although one shouldn’t judge another civilization’s evolutionary rules by their own, Green believed the Metal Destroyer civilization would never reproduce this way, as it would otherwise be too astonishingly bizarre.
Continuing to wander within the large Void Mothership, Green documented all the information he observed.
"Hmm? That creature’s spiritual power is at a hundred!"
Green noticed a new human, surrounded by several servile robots, walking alone. Interestingly, the back of its head’s transparent part was shining brightly, unlike other humanoid creatures whose heads appeared as if countless electrical lights flowed.
This creature’s status was obviously higher than others, yet nobody paid attention to it, as everyone faced only 3D projection screens.
Should I capture it as a specimen?
Wong... woo... wong...
Suddenly, the entire Void Mothership flashed with urgent lights, and warning signs automatically appeared on each new human’s 3D projected screen. Immediately following this, a wave of tense and terrifying emotions spread.
"Warning: An extremely dangerous creature has infiltrated the Tramay Ancient World. Attention all, for your safety, please immediately return to the Void Mothership, terminating this archaeological learning trip, as the ancient world will soon undergo a second cleansing."
