Above The Sky
Chapter 2124 - 55: Wandering Terra, A Brand-New Path of the Dao!
"Just like the gap between a human infant and the strongest among humans is ’infinite,’ the difference between a primary Star God and the scholar and mighty among the Star Gods is equally ’infinite.’
[Why do you say this?]
The Galewind Dragon King clearly couldn’t keep up with Ian’s train of thought, but being at the pinnacle of the Fifth Energy Level True Dragon and possessing knowledge about the Creator, he mused: [Actually, I believe this isn’t impossible - none of the life inside the Cradle has truly encountered the infinite, so for us, any Creator is immeasurably great.]
[However, can the rings created by a Star God or a group of Star Gods really be compared to the most ancient Great Aether Circulation and those original Star Gods? This is completely different, fundamentally different.]
[There are gaps even among infinities; your speculation, I think, is not without reason.]
"Indeed."
Ian closed his eyes. What he truly wanted to say was gratitude and thanks, but the Galewind Dragon King did indeed supplement his thoughts with some insight: "What I really wanted to express was gratitude, thanks." 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
"Galewind Dragon King, do you know how great a love it is for a universe to allow life to exist?"
In the stunned expression of the Dragon King, Ian raised his head, his gaze passing through the light membrane of the Cradle, penetrating the layers of ’vacuum,’ trying to see clearly the endless deep space beyond the Cradle.
He softly said: "The universe loves us because we are the result of love."
"Infinite possibilities, infinite space-times. In the past, we might say this is the ’Anthropic Principle’, because we were born, so the universe we can observe is one that signifies our survival. For those universes without a creator, this indeed means ’existence is meaning’."
"However, a ’Creator’ is different."
"A universe with a ’Creator’ does not adhere to the Anthropic Principle."
"So, do you understand, Galewind Dragon King... the universe we can exist in, live in, and explore... its very existence is the purest form of love."
This is an emotion that can only be understood after transcending preconceived notions, becoming a Star God, and comprehending the infinite vastness of the universe.
The universe is benevolent.
When a being knows they live in a universe where life can exist, born on a planet capable of nurturing them, and is aware that there are other planets in the universe, countless distant places, and that beyond the universe there are other infinite parallel universes.
They will understand that all of this ’creation’ is a kind of unspeakable love.
Thus, Ian posed a ’question’ about the Aether Universe to the Galewind Dragon King, his only listener.
"Dragon King, should the universal constants of every Parallel Universe be the same?"
[This...] The Dragon King was stumped. He thought for a while, then rather unexpectedly spoke an answer he had never considered: [Perhaps... they should be different?]
"But the infinite Parallel Universes and infinite Parallel Space-Times I’ve observed have the same physical constants. Exactly the same."
Ian said calmly, "Then another question: is it possible for a universe with different physical constants from ours to also give birth to another form of life?"
[Perhaps... it is possible?]
The Dragon King once again gave an answer that made him feel breathless, and after deeply understanding the implications of this answer, he couldn’t help but feel a chill to the bone... and a kind of unknown, small warmth.
"Yes, it is very likely possible; there is more than one model of a universe capable of nurturing life, and more than one model of constants."
Ian smiled slightly. At this moment, he turned his head, looked in the direction of the Terra Sun, and almost sighed: "Then, are there still infinite possibilities where a universe has no potential for life to be born?"
[Indeed... indeed there are...] The Dragon King was almost inarticulate, muttering to himself: [Yes, I know, creating the initially born universe is such that only they exist, with nothing else, so they are immensely sorrowful, even perishing because of it...]
[The fall of most Creators gave rise to the Sea of Void, which is the prototype of the Domain of Void, and the remaining Creators transformed the universe using the power of the Sea of Void and Aether, creating a universe teeming with life...]
"This is the Sky Ladder the Star Gods told us through mythology, the true power of the Aether, and their source."
In Ian’s eyes, reflecting the faint light of the sun, the cyan Milky Way glittered with endless radiance: "One last question."
"Does the war between the Star Gods and The End truly exist only in ’our type of universe with life’?"
"Has their war extended to ’universes with different physical constants,’ ’universes without life,’ ’nihility universes,’ ’overflowing universes,’ ’twisted universes,’ ’complete universes,’ ’non-logical universes,’ and so on, these true ’infinite parallel space-times’?"
[...]
The Dragon King remained silent.
He couldn’t answer this question because, after all, he was merely an electromagnetic dragon that appeared in the Terra standard of Ether Space-Time. He could only contemplate other infinite parallel space-time possibilities, unable to comprehend the infinite that surpasses infinite.
