Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion
Chapter 332 - 331: Futile
"No… Ari…ya…" Chu Su's voice cracked as she spoke.
"Relax…"
"The show hasn't even started," Void said, the same grin on his face as he held Ariya's head.
"Ah…" Ariya groaned as dizziness overwhelmed her. A terrifying force coursed through her body; she couldn't even use her laws. Whatever it was swallowed them effortlessly.
"Please…" Finally, Chu Su managed to say a single word, but Void turned a deaf ear.
Please? Ha. He would never show mercy to his enemies. Never again. Shen Ye had been a one-time special case.
Void coldly pressed down on Ariya's neck.
"No… no, what's he doing? Argh, it hurts so painful… someone stop it! Chu Su… please! Master, please! Anyone, please help me!"
Ariya's mind went mad as she begged and pleaded for anybody, anything to rescue her. But sadly, none came as her windpipe was ripped out.
"Gah… garg…" Ariya wanted to speak, but no words came out.
Her knees hit the ground as blood flowed freely.
She touched her neck, trying to speak, but no sound formed.
Her eyes widened as her own blood, golden, desolate, and thick covered her palm.
Her mind replayed fragments of her past memories.
Her back turned cold. Her heart skipped a beat.
These were signs she could no longer ignore, all pointing to one single thing.
Death.
"Fuck… you monster! Bitch! Fucker! Release her RELEASE HER!!!" Chu Su screamed. Her High-Level Rank 3 aura spread around the dome as she drew her sword and began striking it.
But no matter the attack, no matter what she did, she couldn't break the dome.
It was all futile.
"And now, to show you," Void said quietly as he lifted Ariya up, her blood flowing freely.
Her chest, which had stopped bleeding earlier, began bleeding again. A huge amount of blood bathed the surroundings mostly Void but he licked his lips, enjoying it: the taste, the fear, the anger.
All of it caused immense happiness.
His cells jubilated, his scales crawled, his spine elongated in relish.
This was magnificent no, even more so, this was amazing.
"Advddjshsgshsjd—" Ariya tried to scream, but what came out was a heart-wrenching sound.
Almost no sound at all, yet everyone around felt something, heard an unbearably loud cry that embodied pain itself.
"Please…"
Chu Su's mentality broke down as she closed her eyes. Tears streamed down as she felt all hope disappear.
Her power was lacking. She couldn't break the dome, nor could she help Ariya. She was nothing more than an onlooker, forced to witness Ariya's crucifixion. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
In her heart, her master and elder brother were already gone. In her eyes, her entire world was destroyed. Before her, her sister, her friend, her fellow disciple under the same master was dying.
Her body heated up as her tears continued to fall.
If anyone were to see what Void was doing to these two great beauties, they would be heartbroken but Void didn't care. Not even a little.
Void continued in enjoyment, in happiness.
He removed her muscles and tendons, toyed with her veins, and ripped her limbs apart. Dissected. Cut. Scraped off.
At the end…
Ariya's head and entire body were filled with marks, completely separated from one another.
Void, covered in blood from head to toe, crouched down and examined his work.
He nodded.
"Not bad," Void said.
"Don't you think, Chu Su? Definitely not my best, but still look, look, it's amazing. It shows how fragile life truly is, how easy death can be, yet how stubborn this being was. Hahaha… fascinating," Void laughed as he looked outside the dome.
There she was.
Chu Su stood on her feet, her eyes hollow, her sword clenched in her right hand. It gleamed as multiple swords formed around her.
No movement.
No words.
Just a deep stare fixed on Void.
"Well, having an unresponsive audience isn't really my thing, you know. This was good, though," Void said as he stood and stretched out his hand.
"Erase."
With just one word, Ariya's entire body except for her blood disintegrated.
A giant golden-brown soul rose upward, but Void grabbed it and swallowed it.
Finally…
Her consciousness was erased.
Her body.
Her existence.
Gone.
Ariya had died, and no being could ever revive her only create a copy.
"Nice… man, I haven't felt this much happiness in a long time," Void laughed. "Power really is amazing. I'm almost drowning in it."
He licked his lips, blood smeared across his face. His teeth, sharp like a wolf's, gleamed as his crimson pupils looked beyond the dome.
"Now your turn," Void said as his tail swayed left and right.
The dome instantly collapsed as Chu Su moved her arm. Immediately, Void was drowned in a terrifying sword-shadow.
But Chu Su knew this was pointless.
This had no meaning. Void was too powerful. She couldn't scratch him, couldn't destroy him, couldn't even hurt him yet she attacked anyway.
"Ariya… Ariya…"
Chu Su kept repeating the name as she attacked.
Her body turned into a stream of terrifying speed.
Reality wrapped around her as she appeared where her attack landed.
There he was.
No sword pierced him. None could even come close, they simply disappeared.
Without thinking twice, Chu Su stabbed toward Void's chest, her eyes blazing with anger, might, and terrifying will.
She meant to end it all.
To destroy Void once and for all.
Yet in those few moments, memories flooded her mind Ariya and Chu Su playing together, their laughter, running from Eli's perverted hands, both laughing and chuckling.
Their sparring sessions.
Their training.
Their breakthroughs.
Growing stronger together, vowing to one day kill the one who destroyed their world.
Those promises.
Those vows.
Those moments.
Now erased.
Gone.
Broken.
ARIYA WAS DEAD.
Not just dead, she had died right in front of her, and Chu Su couldn't do a single thing.
They had found their enemy, yet here they were..Ariya gone, and the enemy far too powerful.
"IT'S FUTILE."
Void raised two fingers, catching the sword just inches from his chest at its tip.
Boom—!
Void swung his right arm downward, smashing Chu Su and sending her crashing into a mountain. But he wasn't done.
With a snap of his fingers, Chu Su appeared before him again this time with her jaw broken, her eyeball crushed, her chest rising and falling weakly.
Void shook his head.
Then
A punch.
Slow.
Almost effortless.
But to Chu Su, it came at terrifying speed an unavoidable certainty.
"Ariya… I'm coming to join you now," Chu Su thought as her remaining eye closed.
But just then
Bang…
Vroom…
The energy dissipated as a familiar voice rang out.
"Oh, disciple… I have failed you…"
The feminine voice echoed as Chu Su opened her remaining eye.
