"Caius, you are here," Linkir smiled as she looked at the middle-aged man standing before her.

Caius had grown over the years, and being the King of the Federation had made him more mature, cunning, and thoughtful.

"It's a pleasure, Empress. You summoned me, and I must comply," Caius said with a slight bow and a polite smile.

"Oh? The young kid has grown. But if people heard what you just said, they might think the King doesn't have a choice."

"We wouldn't want that, right?" Linkir said as she moved closer to Caius.

Her dangerous curves were highlighted, and a dangerous smile sat on her face.

Caius gulped.

Even though this woman looked unbelievably beautiful, perfection itself ... to Caius it felt like he was staring at the devil.

Over the years, what she had made them do with their own hands had made him realize that the Wild Shade Organization was still learning from the Dreadborne Organization.

These weren't humans at all.

They were far too cruel.

He was beginning to believe that the leaders of the Dreadborne Organization were devils wearing human skin.

"Ah, who would dare say such a thing? Please, Empress, what do you wish to discuss?" Caius forced a smile, though his mind was blazing.

Damn it… if I allow this, you people will destroy the Federation. I am no longer just a prince but the king. Their lives and deaths depend on me.

Caius felt anger rising inside him.

He knew that today Linkir would definitely ask him to do something terrible.

But that wasn't the worst part.

The worst part was that not only was the Dreadborne Organization reckless and lawless, but the Wild Shade Organization was the same. Even the mercenary groups and pirates were growing stronger.

It seemed the Federation would soon be usurped from power.

Of course, none of this escaped Linkir's eyes.

"It has begun," Linkir said calmly.

Caius felt as though lightning had struck him.

Those words had only one meaning.

The dreadful time had come.

Officially.

The forefathers had returned, and a terrifying war was about to begin.

"I… wasn't this supposed to happen in a few years? Isn't this too early? I… we… we aren't prepared," Caius said hurriedly, his face filled with horror.

"We?" Linkir laughed.

"Dreadborne is prepared… but are you?"

"King Caius, you really are not doing a good job. Have you forgotten you belong to the Federation? Who said you belong to the Dreadborne Organization?" Linkir stretched out her arm as Caius clenched his fists.

This bitch… didn't I do your bidding? Give everything to your organization? Do you know how much you took from the Federation? And now suddenly we are on different sides?

Caius felt deeply insulted.

His eyes turned cold as he stood up.

"Yes, you are right. We are on different sides… Empress."

"And so, with that… we will cut off all connections with you."

"Goodbye."

Caius turned and walked away.

He had long been fed up with them, but he had endured it because he believed they were on the same side.

Who would have thought they only saw him and the Federation as tools?

Did they really think the Federation couldn't fight back?

That he would always remain beneath them?

Well… screw that.

"Before you walk out… do you think you and the Federation can bear the consequences of your actions?" Linkir asked with a scoff.

Caius paused.

"Thank you for your concern, Empress. But this is a matter the Federation and I will decide. Whether we can bear the consequences or not does not concern you," Caius replied coldly as he walked out.

The moment he left, Linkir laughed softly.

"So this is what Void has been enjoying… playing with weaker beings is so intriguing."

"Then again… I remember that kid, Shen Ye. I wonder how he is doing now."

"Hm. He must be strong by now. Even back then he was terrifying…"

"But does he think he can defeat Void? Perhaps he has been in Void's palm all along… just like this entire multiverse."

"You are all in the palm of my hands," Linkir said with a faint laugh.

A wine cup appeared in her hand.

But instead of wine, it was filled with blood.

Golden blood, glowing with a pure divine aura, the blood of an angel.

"Let the main game begin. All the pieces are in place… all that's left is for them to make the first move."

Linkir sipped the "drink" with pleasure as she crossed her legs.

In space, with the Dreadborne planet behind him, Caius floated silently as he picked up a communication device.

"Yes… it's me. It's starting. Put Darius on the line," Caius said calmly.

In a forbidden region of space, everything was silent.

It looked completely deserted.

All life was gone.

Planets were hollowed out.

Galaxies were ruined.

Entire universes existed only as ancient relics.

No living being should have been there.

But one was.

"Yes… oh, it's my brother. Put him on the line," Darius said with a smile.

A barbell could be seen in front of him.

But that wasn't the crazy part.

At each end of the barbell were swirling masses of darkness that consumed all light around them.

They weren't just two.

There were thousands of them.

Black holes.

And Darius was bench-pressing them.

The call connected as Darius dropped the barbell.

"Hello, brother," Darius said, a small smile appearing on his face.

Hearing this, Caius spoke.

"It is starting now. The forefathers have returned," Caius's calm voice came through the speaker.

Darius raised an eyebrow.

"Do you have the backing of the Dreadborne? Why are you so calm?" Darius asked.

Caius sighed.

"Quite the opposite. We broke ties already."

"I now oppose the Dreadborne Organization."

Caius finished calmly.

Darius suddenly burst into laughter.

"Finally, brother," Darius replied excitedly.

He had always hated the way his brother tried to curry favor with the Dreadborne Organization.

Maybe back then the Federation wasn't strong, but over time his brother had poured his sweat, body, and soul into it, and the Federation had risen again and stood firmly on its feet.

Even the new generation respected and appreciated Caius.

Better yet, monsters and geniuses were everywhere now. Even he and the others had grown tremendously over the years.

Yet Caius had always warned them to stay low-key.

But now?

"So we're switching to that plan. Get everyone ready, especially the military. We'll target the mercenary groups and the pirates first. As for the Wild Shade Organization and the Dreadborne… not yet."

"We don't want an all-out war," Caius said calmly.

Darius burst into laughter.

"Alright, brother. We're ready anyway. Always have been, always will be," Darius said with a grin.

The call disconnected.

Darius looked around before stretching his body.

Crack!

The sound of his back cracking echoed as space itself cracked slightly, tendrils spreading through deeper layers of space.

"Heheh…"

Darius smiled as he walked away from the barbell on the ground and moved toward something that looked like tiny marbles.

But those "tiny marbles"… were actually two universes.

"Let the fun begin," Darius said as he lifted them.

His bones creaked as his veins and muscles became clearly defined.

His body was filled with pure muscle, with almost zero fat. Every muscle fiber was perfectly outlined, as if his entire physique had been sculpted in high definition.
