Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion
Chapter 469 - 468: Reborn (rage of chu su) 2
"...You knew I was coming," Chu Su spoke as her feet touched the ground.
Hearing this, Zerath chuckled softly.
"How could the God of Existence not know?" he replied.
"I know of your past, what you have been through... your grief..." Zerath paused, his gaze observing the subtle change in her expression.
"I am aware of the reason you came here. I understand your pain..." Zerath moved closer to Chu Su. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
"The pains you can speak of... and the ones you cannot."
His hand gently touched her cheek as tears rolled down.
Zerath closed his eyes, his heart feeling heavy, before smiling faintly.
"Come... let us have our battle," Zerath said as he appeared several meters away.
Chu Su opened her eyes, her tears disintegrating into nothingness as she nodded slowly.
"Thank you," Chu Su muttered softly.
Then she gripped the hilt of her sword.
Chime...
A soft ringing sound echoed out as the dark space lit up. Billions of stars appeared around them, each pulsing with the energy of a neutron star.
Zerath smiled as he clenched his fist slightly.
The space around them twisted and bent as a tremor so deep it resonated with one’s soul spread outward.
Then Chu Su attacked.
Her figure vanished from her original position, only to appear behind Zerath, her sword tip inches away from his neck.
But before it could touch him...
One of the universes behind Zerath compressed into a sphere only a few inches wide before colliding against her blade.
Bammmmm!
The collision rang out like a newborn Big Bang as realities formed and collapsed between them. Various laws manifested one after another.
Wind.
Fire.
Life itself.
All born... and destroyed in an instant.
Twisting her sword, Chu Su swung the compressed universe away, cracks spreading across its surface.
But that brief moment gave Zerath enough time to react.
Chu Su heard a sharp whistling sound as she narrowly tilted her body aside, barely avoiding a punch that caused time itself to slow down.
Everything turned dark.
The light from the billions of stars dimmed instantly.
Snap...
Chu Su held her sword with both hands as she crossed it defensively.
Yet she was still struck.
The instant Zerath’s fist collided against her blade, a spark brighter than the sun erupted outward.
For a brief moment, the stars brightened once more.
Then...
Darkness swallowed everything again.
Zerath closed the distance instantly as Chu Su’s eyes turned cold.
Her body transformed into a mirage-like illusion just as Zerath punched forward, dents appearing around space itself.
Dimensions collapsed one after another as though reality had failed to endure the force.
Yet in the very next moment...
A cold sword rested against Zerath’s neck.
The two stood facing each other silently before Chu Su finally spoke.
"You lost."
Chu Su’s voice echoed calmly.
Zerath withdrew his arm slightly before smiling.
"Did I?" Zerath asked softly.
A sudden sense of dread overwhelmed Chu Su.
She stabbed forward instantly, but it was already too late.
A firm hand suddenly grabbed her neck.
She froze.
Her blade remained only millimeters away from piercing Zerath’s throat.
His aura erupted wildly like an endless inferno as dimensions shattered one after another around him.
Black holes formed and collapsed repeatedly while his aura continued rising higher and higher, each surge placing immense pressure upon Chu Su’s heart.
Just when she felt she could no longer endure it...
A cold sensation washed across her body.
Her sword vibrated violently.
She slashed backward.
Her speed surpassed everything Zerath had previously witnessed as he retreated rapidly.
But he was still too slow.
His forearm was severed instantly.
Yet in the very next instant....
Bang! Bang!
They clashed repeatedly.
Sword and forearm collided like two divine ingots refusing to yield beneath the legendary hammer of the world.
Their bodies tempered each other.
Their auras grew stronger and stronger.
They exchanged countless blows until time itself seemed nonexistent.
Their bodies collided endlessly as their speed continued expanding beyond comprehension.
Finally...
The final clash arrived.
Space itself stood still.
Chu Su’s blade shattered instantly, but she grabbed one of the broken fragments before turning sideways, narrowly dodging a whip-like kick.
Then she stabbed forward.
Splash!
Blood splashed into space as both figures froze.
At this point, Zerath’s robes had been torn into countless pieces.
If before he looked like royalty...
Now he resembled nothing more than a beggar.
Meanwhile, Chu Su’s clothes remained untouched.
In fact, her aura had risen several levels beyond what it had originally been.
She resembled a cold war goddess as everything around her seemed to bow in submission.
"You won," Zerath said with a smile.
Chu Su nodded silently as she opened her palm, the broken sword fragment floating gently above it.
Zerath’s wounds healed instantly.
Around them, realities were cracked, universes shattered, laws weakened to barely a quarter of their original state, while space itself had transformed into a forbidden zone where time no longer existed.
"Yeah..." Chu Su replied softly.
"Well, I have been lonely. Being the strongest eventually turns invincibility into loneliness," Zerath said with a sigh.
"I know..." Chu Su replied before pausing slightly.
"But before I leave..."
She pondered for a moment.
"I want to see how you defeated that god," Chu Su said, genuine curiosity appearing in her eyes.
"Oh... you mean Aluma?" Zerath asked.
Chu Su nodded.
"Alright."
Zerath waved his arm gently.
*******
Boom...
A figure burst out of the dust veil.
Crack... boom.
Aluma was sent flying, her massive body smashing into the ground.
Her legs sank a few inches as she skidded backward.
Her cheek was slightly bruised, her eyes turning cold.
Her divine presence surged, becoming several times stronger as her muscles bulged.
Pah, pah...
Zerath stepped out of the dust. A faint golden hue now traced across his dark armor.
He radiated a divine presence as well though not as overwhelming as Aluma’s.
"So... you evolve in battle?" Aluma asked, her voice cold.
"Interesting. But still not enough. I will show you why a god is a god," she muttered as she tilted her neck..and then moved.
Shff...
The ground sank beneath her weight.
Her size began to increase rapidly, her body expanding by nearly another meter.
From four meters, she grew to almost five.
If before she looked like a giant... now she looked like a divine one.
Instantly
Doom...
The ground sank further as a terrifying pressure spread across the area. Violent gales erupted, and Zerath frowned.
This power... was it already reaching that realm?
Was she beyond the planetary level?
Could it be...
Zerath pressed his lips together. How was this possible? At first, he thought it was just a difference in rank , maybe he was at the early stage of the planetary realm while she stood at its peak.
But now... it felt like an entirely different realm.
Just then, everything around him darkened as a shadow was cast over his body.
Zerath slowly looked up and caught a glimpse of her massive axe descending.
