Two feet stepped out of a sleek black car. It was one of David Willard’s many cars that Ariana had secretly borrowed from the chauffer. She sighed, adjusting her glass as she stared at the little cozy apartment just down the road.

Ariana was already dressed like a movie star in her overly sized blue dress. She couldn’t meet her dream if she didn’t dress like one.

She would have never come here if she didn’t need her important slip for her trip to Miss Pen’s apprenticeship program. Without that slip of her passing the exams, she’ll never be able to attend the event.

Ari pressed her lips together, ’Once she gets it, she’ll be out of this country in no time.’ She nodded at her thought.

Ariana was on a quest to better her life. The next time her parent’s would hear of her, she’ll be a big model. If not the best in the world.

As she stepped inside the house...

"WATER!!!

"I NEED WATER YOU BLOODY ASSHOLES. HOW CAN YOU BOTH BE HEARTLESS TO A LAME WOMAN?" Abby’s voice echoed from the lounge.

"We’re really trying our best Abby, we left work for you. All you can do is appreciate our labor." Gregory said.

They have been moving around, since her return trying to please her and all Abby’s done is complain and make life so difficult for everyone.

"How can I be happy when I’ve lost a leg Greg. Do you even know what condition I’m in right now?

"You don’t know what it feels like." She tapped her chest dramatically.

"I can’t attend parties anymore, my life is fucked up." She counted with her finger.

"I’ve become a laughing stock in the society. No one wants to be associated with a lame ass gullible fat woman." Abby yelled. She used to be the biggest woman in the country. The first lady. Everyone feared her, that’s the power that came with being an Adkins and now, she was reduced to nothing.

She was completely nothing. Just an old fat one legged woman, who couldn’t move or do anything because of her size.

To make matters worse, the Ariana she thought would have healed her with her degree was now useless. Graduating with nothing. They all had no idea all these while, Penny had been the one doing all of her projects.

But how did that illiterate girl become so smart?

Penny had not only stolen her position as the Mrs Adkins, she was now beautiful and smart, while they were all fat and ugly. Abby hated her life.

To think this would be the end, she was still owing the 4 billion dollar debt and any day now, that stupid man would be back to get them. She didn’t know what to do anymore.

Maybelline and David that would have helped in a way, were now broke and kicked out of their company. Again Abby thought, can life get any worse than this?

If anyone knew the deep shit she was into, they would never believe it.

"I’m sorry Abby, but we’re trying for you. We also are tired."

"At least you have both your legs complete, Greg, you should be happy about that." Abby rolled her eyes.

"What’s going on?" Ariana stepped in and all eyes turned to her. The family that usually smiled and treated her like a princess all ignored her like she didn’t exist. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

"Mum, please be happy, I promise I’ll get us out of this problem in no time." Chris said to her. A man who was once the most respected bachelor in Owlsgrave now begged to eat.

He couldn’t even leave the house because he had no idea when his death would come. He had a notorious killer wanting his life with no one to rescue him. Chris has tried reporting that man to the police, but everyone rejected him, saying they didn’t want anything with the man.

"I don’t need anymore empty promises. The last time I got promised, I was rewarded with lies and deciet." Abby rolled her eyes.

"But I wasn’t the one that disappointed you." Chris said.

"You aren’t. But you’re no different from you dumb wife. I begged you to take over the company for years Chris, but you refused."

"It would have been better if you had married Penny instead of that fat lazy ugly looking pig. Even though Penny was fat, she seems to be the smart one." Ariana frowned at her mother in-laws words. Let them wait and see, she’d divorce Chris the moment she becomes Miss Pen’s apprentice.

"Well, your stupid fat ugly useless daughter in law is here to get her things. And don’t worry, I’ll divorce Chris so that you can find a better daughter in law." Ari said.

"Once the divorce papers are signed we can beg the Adkins and find a way you can seduce Penny again." Abby said.

"That’s not gonna happen mother." Chris said. Even though Penny was beautiful and he wanted to be with her so badly, Ari was his wife and his new support system.

Getting Penny back was almost impossible especially since they were now kicked out of the Adkins household for good.

"Ariana is my wife and I love her." Still being a part of the Willard family has brought more good thing to him, he couldn’t lose that title too.

"Of course the dumb lazy couple." Abby rolled her eyes.

"I’m sorry about mother Ari." Chris walked up to Ari, tuking a few strands of hair to the back of her ear. For a moment, Ariana felt so special.

No man has treated her any better since she became a so fat. She missed Chris’s little touch and soft words. She missed everything about their relationship. At least, he was one person Penny couldn’t steal away no matter what.

Ariana felt like a queen again, smiling from ear to ear as Chris whispered sweet words in her ears. She immediately started giggling and Abby couldn’t take it anymore. It felt like she was going to pass out.

"Give Ari a little Grace Abby. No matter what, she’s still out beloved daughter in law." Gregory said.
