I heard Margaret’s voice from the outside, on which Aurielle glared at me, so I nodded and cleaned all the bedsheets by myself as Aurielle met Margaret and started preparing for the function.

After everyone got ready, we got down; there, all the twenty bronze knights were already fully armoured and standing near the carriage as Kai was in the lead.

I nodded at them and entered the carriage together with Aurielle.

Surrounding people also noticed this, as nobles don’t come into this district, so after seeing knights and a carriage, they thought it maybe belonged to some rich merchant.

With a loud horse cry, the carriage finally starts moving toward the main district because there is Count has set up the destination for this function.

As we were travelling, I observed Aurielle, who is now wearing a royal black gown, which has a V cut toward the chest area, while the dress tightly clung to her waist and she was also wearing the black silver crown on her head.

Seeing a single piece of armour from Queen Eclipse’s set makes me confused.

"Can’t she used atleast one ability of her armour with single part?" I asked back to the system in my mind.

I nodded, then also checked my appearance, which is a black suit type dress with silver lining on both shoulders.

I heard Nyx voiced, who is sitting on my right shoulder while, Myrkhal on left.

I also nodded at them, then sat patiently.

After travelling for more than 10 minutes, we finally reached the central district.

Far in the distance, a colossal gate was place on the landscape and its golden bars gleaming like a symbol of wealth and power.

As sun was still high so beneath its shadow, numerous noble carriages stood parked in silence, each one bearing the marks of prestigious houses that had gathered on the sides.

Soon two guards dressed in knight armour come toward our carriage as they guide us toward the parking area.

"This way, sir."

The two guards bowed to us and showed the direction.

I nodded at them while looking around and found that we are the last ones.

But I didn’t care and gave Aurielle my shoulder; she smiled and locked her hands with mine on my shoulder, and then we started moving toward the gate.

"Sir, welcome to Stormveil County."

I nodded at them, but as we entered the gate, I soon found a few maids come to us and told that knights and maids have to attend the different party.

Aurielle nodded beside me, indicating this is what happens most of the time.

So I ordered all my knights to behave properly and take care of themselves along with Margaret.

"YES SIR!"

All of them shouted, but the attendant didn’t react much.

"Seems like they are used to a knight’s high pitched sound."

This thought occurred to me as my knights along with Margaret followed the maids, but Margaret turned towards us and gave a bright smile before following them back.

"Shall we then, honey~?"

As they left, I leant toward Aurielle and said in a playful voice.

"Are you still not satisfied?"

Her eye twitches because I have literally not let her rest from the moment we awoke.

A large grin appeared on my face after seeing her reaction, which for me looks cute.

"It’s your fault for being so beautiful~"

I said playfully those words before we started moving toward the main entrance, which was heavily decorated.

Large red and white flowers were arranged perfectly along both sides of the path, while a long red carpet stretched across the ground.

The rich scent of some expensive agarwood filled the air, spreading throughout the entrance and creating an atmosphere of elegance and luxury.

Maids holding flower baskets stood on both sides of the path, their heads lowered respectfully as they waited in silence.

As we stepped onto the red carpet, the maids began scattering flowers along our path.

We did not stop, continuing forward at a slow and steady pace as the petals fell around us.

As we reached the front gate of the mansion, two guards bowed toward us and then, with a gentle pull, opened the gate.

The moment the gate opened, everyone inside, who were enjoying their food or drinks while talking or discussing, stopped and turned their gaze toward the gate with thoughts.

"Who will be this late?"

Soon they found their answer as the standing guards shouted the name of the entering guest.

"LORD OF THE BLACKSTONE HIGHLANDS!"

"HERO OF THE GODDESS OF LIGHT!"

"BARON LUKE VOIDHEART!"

"He is here along with his wife!"

Everyone’s attention turned toward the entrance as a couple walked into the hall hand in hand, appearing the moment the guards finished their introduction.

"Is this the exile princess?"

Many noblemen were captivated by Aurielle’s appearance as she entered the hall.

She wore a black royal gown with exposed shoulders, while a silver black crown rested upon her head, perfectly complementing her beauty and giving her an elegant presence.

Almost everyone forgot about the man beside her, as it’s not necessary at all.

Many noble women got jealous of this, as their husband or their love interest was now staring hard at the exile princess.

"But still she got married to that talentless man, and now her future has already been ruined because of it."

They told themselves these words and other women as well, which finally reduced their jealousy somewhat.

"It seems like you have become the star of this party."

Luke leaned toward Aurielle as he whispered those words into her ears.

"Damn it, this is too much. Stay away from her, you scum."

Many men, seeing how that talentless hero is getting lovey dovey with Aurielle, become so jealous that they curse Luke in a low voice.

Aurielle didn’t care about the other man’s reaction, as she just smiled slightly at his voice and got closer to Luke’s shoulder.

Finally, the guards shut the gate down, and both of them reached toward one corner before observing everyone.

Luke has already heard that most of the people coming today are the younger generation.

Like, almost all barons under Stormveil County or near it, if they got the invitation, did come here.

But for viscounts and counts, they send their representative only, like their child.

After a moment Luke saw an acquaintance, the Baron Cedric, whose light black hair was combed perfectly this time, and he was smiling while talking to the person in the middle.

Then he noticed that there were two more people beside Cedric, who was drinking calmly, and one of them he had already met.
