Xia Chuyi paused her hand that was patting her son’s head.

Really wanted to smack this ungrateful kid.

The daily squabbles between mother and son brought a slight smile to Huo Shiqian’s lips.

Upon hearing this, little Huo Shiwu frowned even more and stretched his hand towards Xia Chuyi.

This indicated to Huo Shiqian to carry him over.

Huo Shiqian smirked faintly and carried his son over.

As soon as Huo Shiwu was carried in front of Xia Chuyi, he immediately said to his mom, "Mom, it’s time to sleep."

"Huh?" Hearing Huo Shiwu’s voice, Xia Chuyi lifted her head from the materials.

Then, she immediately saw her dear son in pajamas, with a serious little face staring at her.

Seeing this, Xia Chuyi quickly looked down at her watch.

"Oh, is it this late already?" Xia Chuyi hadn’t realized she had been absorbed in the materials for so long, so she put down the materials, stood up, and ruffled her son’s head, "Alright, little caretaker, mommy is getting ready to sleep."

Huo Shiwu frowned again as his mom started to "mess around" with him.

Xia Chuyi, who was washing up in the bathroom, had no idea that outside, one big and one little were discussing how to "protect" her, this "silly goose."

When Xia Chuyi came out from the bathroom, Huo Shiwu obediently extended his arms from Huo Shiqian’s embrace, reaching for Xia Chuyi.
