After my divorce, I started to have good luck
Chapter 1186 - 623: The Temptation of a Virtuous Wife
"Could you help me get Guoxiang inside, please?"
Ni Yuhua's request was hard for Chen Feng to refuse, naturally.
Chen Guoxiang was not tall, but he weighed nearly 160 pounds, and once drunk, Ni Yuhua, being a woman, really couldn't hold him up.
"Alright."
Chen Feng casually agreed, opened the car door, and dragged the already unconscious Chen Guoxiang out of the car.
His strength was significant now, and despite Chen Guoxiang being as drunk as a dead pig, he managed to drag him out without much effort, hooking an arm under his armpit, heading towards the hotel.
Ni Yuhua quickly followed, attempting to support Chen Guoxiang from the other side, draping one of his arms over her shoulder, and extending the other arm to his back, ultimately gripping Chen Feng's arm.
Initially, Chen Feng thought she did it unintentionally and would quickly let go, but she didn't; she continued holding onto his arm, showing no signs of releasing it anytime soon.
Although they appeared to be working together in supporting Chen Guoxiang, their hands intertwined on his back painted a different picture.
If someone were to snap a photo of the three of them from behind, it would undoubtedly be full of interest and narrative.
If one knew the man they were supporting was Ni Yuhua's husband, many entertaining stories about love triangles and affairs would surely sprout.
Bringing Chen Guoxiang into the hotel together, Chen Feng's mind was hazy.
He wasn't sure if Ni Yuhua was interested in him, or was interested.
Of course, there was also the possibility it was merely his overthinking; maybe she held onto his arm only to better leverage, rather than for other reasons, much less out of interest in Chen Feng.
After all, during their dinner together, Ni Yuhua showed not a trace of affection or special thoughts towards him.
"Probably I really overthought it."
Chen Feng could only think to himself.
They quickly got Chen Guoxiang to the elevator; while waiting, feeling her grip on his hand becoming uncomfortable, Chen Feng spoke up to Ni Yuhua: "I can handle him alone."
Ni Yuhua replied naturally, "Let's carry him together. I'm afraid he'll fall."
Worried about Chen Feng inadequately supporting her husband, it was reasonable, and Chen Feng couldn't argue further.
Regarding her holding onto his arm, Chen Feng couldn't mention it, as it would only lead to awkwardness.
No choice but to pretend it was completely normal.
As a man, generosity is essential; even if a married woman takes advantage, he'll just have to accept it.
Fortunately, the elevator arrived quickly, and together they hoisted Chen Guoxiang inside, smoothly reaching the 7th floor. Exiting the elevator, they soon approached their booked room's door.
Ni Yuhua needed to fetch the room card, thus finally releasing her grip on Chen Feng, rummaged through her shoulder bag, taking a while to find it.
Once the door opened, Chen Feng single-handedly carried Chen Guoxiang inside, promptly placing him on the bed.
Turning around to bid farewell to Ni Yuhua, she approached him, expressing gratitude: "Thank you. For the meal and for bringing Guoxiang back with me."
"You're welcome. You and Guoxiang rest early; I won't come tomorrow, take care."
Upon finishing, Chen Feng intended to leave, only to be stopped by Ni Yuhua saying: "Could you assist again, to situate him properly and lay him down? He's too heavy, and sleeping like a log, I can't move him."
Chen Feng glanced at the horizontally sprawled Chen Guoxiang on the bed, nodding: "Sure."
Thus, Chen Feng approached, let Chen Guoxiang lay correctly, and at Ni Yuhua's further urging, removed his tight jeans as well.
Observing Ni Yuhua gently cover Chen Guoxiang with the blanket, Chen Feng once again proposed his departure: "I'll be off then. You two rest well." ๐๐๐๐๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ป๐๐๐๐น.๐๐จ๐
This time, Ni Yuhua did not object, merely nodded and followed him as if intending to see him off.
Chen Feng opened the door, turned to her saying: "No need to see me off."
With the door open, Chen Feng quickly exited and closed the door, secretly breathing a sigh of relief.
Ni Yuhua seemed uninterested, but now Chen Guoxiang was drunkenly unconscious, staying alone with her, a married woman, couldn't be good.
Shortly after taking a few steps, the room door suddenly opened, and Ni Yuhua's voice called: "Wait, your car keys are left behind."
Only then did Chen Feng remember the car keysโNi Yuhua drove, and did not return them to him immediately upon disembarking.
He halted and turned as Ni Yuhua approached, saying: "You've been drinking, it's not good to drive. Let me drive and see you home."
Chen Feng vaguely replied: "How will you get back then?"
"I can just catch a taxi back."
Chen Feng flatly declined: "No need for the trouble, I'll find a driver."
"It's troublesome and unsafe to find a driver; I've heard of scams involving deliberate accidents to extort money." Concluded Ni Yuhua, suggesting, "Why not book a room here for the night?"
Truthfully, Chen Feng didn't plan to find a driver nor inconvenience Sun Xiaorui and Wu Mengting to fetch him; he intended to stay here overnight.
The reason for mentioning a driver was merely an instinct to avoid revealing his overnight plans to her.
Even if he wasn't sure of her fidelity now, such things are better avoided.
Not only is a friend's wife off-limits, her appearance and demeanor are not Chen Feng's type, making it unnecessary.
"No need, I'll call my girlfriend to drive."
Chen Feng said, reaching out to her.
Seeing this, Ni Yuhua reluctantly placed the car keys in his hand, whether intentionally or unintentionally, her two fingers brushed against his palm, causing a ticklish sensation.
Inside, Chen Feng swore silently, looking at her, meeting her eyes which gazed directly at him, without avoiding sightโeyes not captivating yet possessing a unique allure and temptation.
If Chen Feng were not a gentleman, not lacking women, or not unfond of such married types, a slight response could lead to favorable circumstances.
With them already in the hotel, booking another room would be easy; more importantly, Chen Guoxiang was sleeping soundly, unlikely to wake soon.
Time, place, and people were favorable; a mere response from Chen Feng would suffice.
Yet, Chen Feng remained steadfastly moral, refusing to engage with a married woman nor disrupt her family.
Even if mutual consent seemed evident, it was an immovable line for Chen Feng.
Averting recognition of her intentions, he took the car keys and headed out.
This time, he didn't bother bidding farewell to her.
Beforehand, he considered the possibility of overthinkingโyet her recent actions clearly indicated inclination to stray, to cuckold Chen Guoxiang.
Such women, Chen Feng truly couldn't appreciate, and found no need for courteous engagement.
