All My Summons Become Divine Girls
Chapter 194: New Change
Allen massaged his temples, the low murmur of the advisors doing little to settle his growing irritation with the city’s nobility.
The council meeting had dragged on for three hours, their arguments about trade taxes and borders feeling like a waste of his time.
Before he could speak, a strange noise rose from the lobby downstairs, the sudden uproar cutting straight through the office door. The advisors went silent, their heads turning toward the exit while the distant shouting turned into a chorus of confused murmurs.
"What is going on down there?" Garret asked, setting his papers aside.
Allen stood up without answering and headed toward the observation deck overlooking the hall. Pushing the doors open, he stepped onto the balcony to find the entire guild hall frozen in complete silence.
Hundreds of adventurers stood in a wide circle near the reception desk, their eyes fixed on a figure in the center.
A strange man stood before the flustered receptionist, his long white hair falling past his shoulders in messy, untamed locks. Bright streaks of gold and electric blue shimmered through the snow-white strands, reflecting the sun from the overhead windows.
He carried an intense pressure around him, his mismatched gold and blue eyes scanning a parchment sheet with calm indifference.
But it was the group surrounding him that made Allen freeze, his hands gripping the railing in disbelief. Juna stood on his right, her ears twitching as she glared at a group of whispering mercenaries.
On his left was Loccy, her long ears twitching as she hopped slightly from side to side in pure boredom. Behind them stood Vella, her hair loose as she watched the crowd with quiet confidence.
"It cannot be," Allen whispered, his eyes widening as he stared down at the youth.
The girl in the white tunic, Elise, was standing near the guild entrance, her mouth hanging open as she pointed.
"Is that... Hajin?" She gasped, her voice cracking as she looked toward Sable.
Sable did not answer, her hand resting on her sword hilt while she analyzed the immense power radiating from his core. The mana was unmistakably his, but the gold and blue streaks in his white hair made him look like a stranger.
Allen slowly walked down the staircase, the crowd parting instantly as his powerful aura filled the hall. He stopped at the bottom of the stairs, looking between the girls before locking his eyes onto Hajin’s face.
The young summoner did not look up, calmly placing two glowing eight-shard cores onto the counter with a soft clink.
"I am here to report the gate clear," he said, his eyes focusing on the flustered receptionist.
The receptionist squeaked, her fingers trembling as she picked up the cores.
"You look different, Hajin," Allen said, crossing his arms as he inspected the white hair and the new clothes.
"Had a minor core reconstruction," he muttered, sliding the paper toward her, "it came with a few side effects."
Loccy waved her hand at the guildmaster, "hello, scary old man! We got some cool things from the gate!"
"Be quiet, Loccy," Juna snapped, her tail flicking as she stepped closer to Hajin’s shoulder.
Allen ignored the girls, his focus staying on the two cores pulsing with raw mana on the counter. The energy radiating from the crystals was incredibly dense, confirming they belonged to high-tier anomalies from the gate.
He knew Hajin had entered the unranked gate with low-rank adventurers, making the successful clear feel completely absurd.
"Two eight-shard cores," he said, his voice quiet as he leaned against the counter, "from a single unranked gate."
"That is all we found," Hajin said, not looking up as he signed his name on the logbook.
Allen stared at him, his sharp eyes searching for any sign of a lie on the boy’s calm face. The silence in the hall stretched on, the other adventurers watching in tense silence while they waited for the guildmaster’s reaction.
’He isn’t going to believe me anyway,’ Hajin thought, keeping his expression neutral as he waited.
Allen slowly picked up one of the eight-shard cores, feeling the dense, purified energy circulating through the crystal.
He could sense the residual traces of a powerful clash, the pure mana showing no signs of standard team-clear dynamics. The young man had cleared the gate with only his summons, forcing the guildmaster to accept the absurd reality of the situation.
"Follow me to my office, Hajin," he said, setting the core back onto the counter, "we need to talk."
"Sure," he muttered, turning to follow the guildmaster up the staircase.
The advisors scrambled to make room as Allen led the young summoner inside, their eyes wide with unasked questions. Allen closed the door behind them, shutting out the noise from the hallway before turning to face his visitor.
"Now," he said, gesturing toward the leather sofa, "explain to me how you survive a gate of that level and emerge looking like that."
Hajin sat on the sofa, his gaze scanning the office before he looked at the guildmaster. "I cannot explain the appearance," he said, leaning back against the leather cushions, "but did you know that was an anomaly gate?"
Allen paused, his hands resting on his desk as he stared at him in silence. "An anomaly gate?" He asked, his brow furrowing as he leaned forward.
"The threat level was almost the same as the Beast King gate," Hajin said, his tone unbothered.
Allen stared at him, the shock of the revelation settling over the office, "and you cleared it," he murmured, his fingers tapping slowly against the desk.
"We survived," he corrected, his focus drifting toward the window as he closed his eyes.
Allen’s eyes drifted to the silver badge on Hajin’s belt, the number 425 etched into the metal. He remembered Hajin’s rank jumping to 425 from 1,210 after the Beast King gate, placing him right behind Yenna.
The tracking device on the desk flared with a deep blue light as the display began to spin rapidly.
It flickered before settling on a solid 210, the sudden climb defying the standard progression of the ranking system. Allen stared at the display, his jaw tightening as he looked between the screen and Hajin.
"Who the hell are you?" Allen asked, looking him dead in the eye.
Hajin stared at the guildmaster in silence, his expression showing no emotion while he let the quiet settle over the room.
"I am Lord Hajin now," he said, meeting the older man’s intense gaze with complete indifference, "so this will be the last assignment I do for the guild."
Allen stood frozen behind his desk, his eyes widening as he registered the finality in Lord Hajin’s tone.
"It was fun," he said, closing his eyes as he rested his head against the cushions, "but it is time for a new change."
