All My Summons Become Divine Girls
Chapter 99: Welcome Back
Hajin just stared at her, his mind racing as the words sank in. She was just a normal bunny? What was going on? Why did she have a human form?
Before he could even voice the question, the system panel flickered in front of him, responding to his confusion before he had to ask.
[ Soul Form Conversion ]
[ The Veil contains billions of female souls trapped in the severed cycle. ]
[ These souls originate from all manner of beings. ]
[ When a summoned soul does not possess a humanoid form compatible with the user, the summoning skill automatically filters and reconstructs it into a stable human-compatible vessel. ]
He read the lines twice, his brow pulling together. ’Filters and reconstructs?’ he thought. ’So the system literally built that body for her?’
A new prompt slid into place before he could process it fully.
[ Conversion requires significant mana to stabilize the new form and anchor the soul. ]
[ This is why the mana expenditure for this summon was substantially higher than the first. ]
He let out a slow breath, the pieces clicking together. ’That explains the drain,’ he thought, rubbing the back of his neck. ’It wasn’t just pulling her out, it was rewriting her entire existence into something that could actually stand on two legs.’
’Wait, what about Juna?’ he thought, glancing at her for a second. ’Did she go through the same thing?’
The system answered immediately.
[ Negative. The previous summon, Juna, already possessed a humanoid beastkin form upon manifestation. No conversion was required. ]
He nodded slowly, the logic making sense now. Juna had already been a wolf beastkin when she was alive, so the system didn’t need to do any extra work.
But Loccy was literally just a rabbit, which meant the summoning skill had to construct an entire humanoid body from scratch, shape the mana into flesh and bone, and anchor a non-humanoid soul into it.
No wonder it nearly drained him dry.
He waved Juna over, keeping his voice low so Loccy wouldn’t catch it. She leaned in close, her ears swiveling toward him while he whispered the whole thing out.
The system’s explanation about soul form conversion, the mana drain, the fact that Loccy was originally just a normal rabbit.
Juna’s eyes widened slightly as he finished, her ears pressing back in surprise.
The chat was already blowing up in his peripheral vision.
[ CringeSlayer91:] wait so his power literally turns animals into waifus???
[ CringeSlayer91:] bro that is so broken
[ ShadowMage44:] this summoning skill is actually insane
[ ShadowMage44:] he’s pulling souls from the veil and giving them human bodies
[ ShadowMage44:] straight up op
[ DarkBlade:] imagine if he summons a slime next 💀
[ Ashley (mod):] guys focus, she was a literal rabbit minutes ago, give her a break
Juna let out a quiet breath, glancing at Loccy before looking back at him. "What do we do now?"
He didn’t have an answer for that. The plan had been to summon another fighter for the seven-shard Gate raid tomorrow, someone who could hold their own in a high-tier fight, instead he got a confused girl who used to be a literal rabbit.
"Honestly?" he muttered, rubbing his temple. "I have no idea."
He looked back at Loccy, who was still sitting there wrapped in the blanket, her ears twitching as she stared at her own hands like they belonged to someone else.
"Hey," he called out, keeping his voice steady. "Think you can...hmm, try walking a bit."
She blinked at him, her brow furrowing. "Walk?"
She shifted the blanket aside and planted her hands on the ground, pushing herself up onto her feet with a lot of hesitation. Her legs shook immediately, the muscles clearly not used to supporting any kind of weight, let alone a full humanoid body.
She took one step forward, her foot landing awkwardly, and her balance just gave out.
She fell face first into the dirt with a soft thud, the blanket slipping off her shoulders as she lay there without moving for a second.
Hajin watched her for a moment, then let out a long, tired sigh.
"Yeah," he muttered under his breath. "We’re fucked."
He pushed himself up from the ground, his legs feeling like jelly from the mana drain. He really needed to sit down and recover before his head split open completely.
"Juna," he said, turning toward her. "Can you handle her for a bit? I used way too much mana and need to rest."
She nodded without hesitation. "I will take care of it."
"Thank you," he said, rubbing his eyes. "Just teach her how to walk and help her figure out her new body. I’ll catch up once I get my mana back."
He didn’t wait for a response, just turned and walked over to the nearest tree, leaning his back against the bark before sliding down into a sitting position.
The cool wood felt good against his shoulders, and he let out a long breath as he finally let his guard down.
Across the clearing, Juna walked over to Loccy, who was still lying face down in the dirt, and gently scooped her up by the arms. Loccy made a small noise of surprise but didn’t resist, her ears drooping as Juna helped her back onto her feet. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"Let’s try that again," Juna said, her voice calm but firm as she kept one arm around Loccy’s waist to steady her. "Put your weight on your left foot first. No, like this. Feel how your leg moves."
Loccy wobbled, her hands gripping Juna’s shoulder tightly while her legs shook. She took another step, then another, her movements clumsy but slowly improving as Juna guided her through it.
Hajin watched them from his spot against the tree, a faint sense of relief settling in his chest despite the exhaustion weighing him down. The stream chat was still scrolling in the corner of his vision, but he barely paid attention to it anymore.
He just closed his eyes, letting the quiet sounds of the forest wash over him while his mana slowly began to recover.
Sleep pulled him under faster than he expected, the exhaustion dragging him down into a deep, quiet dark.
When his eyes slowly opened, the trees were gone.
A soft breeze brushed against his face, carrying the faint scent of petals. He was lying on cool grass, surrounded by an endless expanse of colorful flowers stretching out in every direction under a bright, hazy sky.
There was no mistaking it, this was the ring world.
He didn’t move, just lay there while a soft weight pressed down near his chest. A girl was leaning over him, her hands resting lightly against his shoulders as a steady stream of warm mana flowed from her palms into his core.
Her expression was focused, her eyes half-lidded as she worked, completely unaware that he was awake.
He watched her for a second, the fatigue in his limbs slowly easing as her mana washed through him, patching the hollow spots the summoning had carved out.
"Oh," he said quietly, not bothering to sit up, "we meet again."
Her hands paused mid-motion, her eyes opening to meet his as a faint, relieved smile touched her lips.
"Welcome back."
