Almighty Father System

After coming to the company Leo handled the twins for a bit before they fell asleep with Lily beside them. They had been very active in the racing team track, so they needed sleep. Meanwhile, Leo and Snow began to check the various company projects, and also to talk to Alpha.

The two people were present in his office, from where Alpha had been working these past few days. The young man asked, "Have you managed to locate the surviving members?"

Alpha nodded and replied, "Yes, we have all the data, but these people have not yet completely taken over the roles of their predecessors, however, the things they have done are by no means humane."

Alpha presented the data to Leo and the young man nodded calmly, before he sighed and replied, "Put out hits on all of them. I mean, all of them, they should be taken out at the same time at the same day. Make this a spectacle for all those who still wish to rise through the ranks, and continue doing such heinous actions. Even those who wish to join them and find a quick path to success need to understand that the only end of this path is death.

After they are done, distribute all their assets to the people in need, as for the legitimate businesses they have, keep them running, just promote the talented staff."

Three days, have passed since then, Leo had been staying home and handling the twins. At this moment he had finished his breakfast and was holding Julian in his arms when he turned on the TV in the living room, and soon the news flooded in, "We have received the news that their has been several attacks on the heir apparents of the top elites in the world followed by the sudden death of their predecessors when the satellite debris crashed in the palace.

We have received another message from the people who are now claiming the responsibility of having planned this whole thing. Let’s see what they have to say."

The masked figure appeared on the screen and the person said, "Hello, we are the Blood Eagle, and we claim sole responsibility for the attacks on the so called rich in the world. Their deeds have all been confirmed and the evidence has been submitted on the internet. You all can take a look and decide for your own if our actions were wrong. We would like to remind the people who also aspire to become someone like the deceased people, learn more, and earn with your head held high. However, if you ever try to cross the bottom line of humanity, you shall receive a life so scary that death would become a privilege. Till then, stay safe, and stay mindful."

That said, the message video stopped playing and the atmosphere became really tense for the citizens at home. The news reporter turned to the side and said, "Today, we have been joined by King Avalon of the Stag Nation." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

The call was connected on the small window King Avalon, the new King of the Stag Nation appeared, and the young lady said, "Greetings Your Majesty."

King Avalon smiled faintly and said, "Good Afternoon to you as well."

The lady asked, "Your majesty, did you hear the message from the Blood Eagle Gang?"

King Avalon sighed and replied, "Yes, that is something that I cannot unhear even if I don’t want to."

The young lady nodded, and asked, "Sir, what do you want to say about this?"

King Avalon shook his head and said, "As a King, I have the responsibility to protect the people and so I condemn these actions taken by the Blood Eagle Gang. This is not how things should be handled, if today we have a blood eagle, what would we do if a group of people stands up tomorrow and they rush out of their houses to gain justice by handling things themselves? Would we be any different than animals?"

Leo was listening in on the debate, when June called him, and said, "Sir, the NN tv wants you to join a debate. It is a live situation how should I reply?"

Leo raised his brow with an amused reaction and said, "Fine. Let them connect to my number."

Leo held Julian in his arms and he sat down on the couch, then he looked at Beta and said, "In a while there would be a call coming, can you handle the task of broadcasting my face to them?"

Beta nodded, and turned on the uplink, and Leo was just teasing Julian as he tried to grab some hair on Leo’s head. It was not that Beta would not have taken the command when she was told to, but Leo just considered them as people, because as a human being decent was the minimum.

The call was connected, and Leo could see the entire interface spread on Beta’s torso screen. He smiled faintly and said, "Hello everyone, Greetings Your Majesty, King Avalon."

King Avalon smiled a little and the news presenter asked, "Lord Cardinal, as an ennobled gentleman, I wonder if you can express your thoughts on the actions taken by the Blood Eagle."

Leo sighed and said, "Miss Renara, throwing a heavy question without giving me chance to warm up?"

As he was speaking, he didn’t mind the world see how Julian had grabbed a lock of his hair and was dangling from it. The scene brought smile to many people, and after the pause, Leo didn’t give the presenter any time to cover up but said, "See, I am not a politician, and nor the Head Of State like His Majesty Avalon here. I am a father and a husband before anything else that the people perceive me to be. So, what I will say is my personal emotions and not something that represent anyone else, not even the guards standing outside my door, let alone the nation or the world.

The sense of justice for everyone is different, we can never compare two cases if you look at them from the perception of a human being. This is why the code of law exists in the world. However, the same code of law that binds the common people to be law fearing, had no deterrence power for the rich and the powerful. Let us be clear about one thing, humans don’t follow law because they abide by it, they follow it because they fear punishment.

So, if someone is breaking those laws, either they have lost everything including the emotion of fear, or they have the power to bend it."

Miss Renara had fallen silent and King Avalon was the same, the young man took a deep breath slowly before he said, "So, coming to my personal thoughts, I think what they did is right, because, if someone, no matter who, dared to look at my family with malicious gaze, I will poke their eyes."

He made his stance clear, and he didn’t hesitate. Renara opened her eyes wide and asked, "Lord Cardinal, how can you say something like this? You are a public figure."

Leo smiled and asked, "Then let me ask you, what would you do if your family suffers at the hand of the rich and the powerful and you are unable to get justice? Would you rather sulk in despair or try to get things done?"

The news presenter was shocked, and she was speechless, Leo said, "King Avalon is a royal, but when his loved ones faced turmoil, he had to take things in his own hands to make changes in the laws. Now everyone looks at the Stag Nation and thinks how wonderfully they have changed around. Miss Renara, in this world the maximum number of people are moderates, they don’t believe in fighting and stuff, but wars are triggered by that extremely radical minority that can be counted on the tips of your fingers.

This is why, those who have power should be conscious about it. If they forget it, that is only when the pent up frustration explodes in a form of violence."

That was it, Leo finished speaking and Beta showed the side bar where the comments on the live news channel were flooding. Renara was a seasoned news anchor so she asked, "Does that mean if you had to go ahead and start a war because the Eagle Nation attacked your project site, you would have done it?"

Leo smiled and said, "The person behind the mess had been disposed off, and the people in the Eagle Nation are desperately looking for our country to inject some capital, what do you think? Have I received the justice or not?"

King Avalon chuckled and said, "Lord Cardinal, I have only heard of your wit, but today, I have come to admire your candor as well. We surely need more people like you."

Leo smiled and replied, "Thank you, Your Majesty."

The crowd poured in the comment box to support Leo, while Clara walked over with Elena who had just woken up and was looking for a familiar scent of her baba.
