Leo was standing surrounded by the crowd, after his speech, one of the people asked, "Mister Cardinal, what do you mean by not expecting you to stand by and watch?"

The young man sighed and replied, "I have three children, one of them have faced a lot of things and many times at that. You guys do remember that she was shot at, right? I hate those creatures who try to use children as their shields. If you all want to stand up for these animals, then how about you let your kids face this?"

The reporters were shocked and then one of them gasped, "How dare you?"

Leo replied equally snappy, "Why? Got caught by the balls, are we?!"

He was loud and with his attributes, it was enough to give the people a scare and they all took a step back. After that Leo continued, "If you want to play righteous, go and stake your own lives instead of the cops, go burn your own hours to be the doctor that would burns his years away to save your sorry asses in time of emergency. Go be a soldier on the border to face the bullets that hit you in face. If you don't have those guts, and want to others to uphold the justice than be my bitch, you sideline swines!!"

Leo snapped, he really snapped, he looked at the cameras and replied, "I don't care if you malign me, or anything else, if you tried to make things difficult for me or my family, without a concrete reason, then I will give you a full share of concrete and make sure it hurts when you take it."

His words were simple and straight and the people again realized that it was Leo Cardinal they were talking to. Things would not end up good for them, and if the man had even killed those thugs with his guns, it would not even demand a questioning after all, the Cardinals were Golden Sigil family.

Just then the parents who had finished soothing their children turned to the media and one couple stepped up and said, "Yes, I support Mister Cardinal. Go and put your children in danger if you want to. This man had done nothing but good for the nation, for the people, and for the future generation and here you are dirty dogs waiting to tear apart his character and destroy his work because you will get five minutes of spotlight by doing this. Phony media."

More and more parents began to shout and stand up for Leo, and the same could be seen on the internet as many of the reporters used internet live streams. The whole thing was completely moved in his favor. Leo then walked away from the place with Lesley beside him. After a few minutes, Lesley's family came over, they all had a warm reunion, and then the captain approached Leo for a statement.

The young man complied, he didn't want to hide anything at all, and after the captain finished recording his statement, Leo asked, "Captain, may I ask you for a favor?"

The captain was surprised, and said, "Anything in my power, Mister Cardinal."

Leo smiled and waved his hand before he said, "I just want to be there when these guys are interrogated. I want to know, who is coming after me and the people who work to make this world a better place. If they have only done it for spotlight, then fine but if this is a deeper conspiracy, I need to know what it is about."

The Captain nodded and replied, "I will arrange for that as soon as the doctor has given them a green slip. You did quite a number on them."

Leo shrugged and replied, "I apologies for complicating your work."

The cop shook his head and then he walked away. Leo got on his bike and under the watchful eyes of all the people, he drove away from the chaotic place. Nothing in this world mattered to him more than the safety of his family, but that didn't mean he would just let the world burn. After all, if his children didn't have a functioning world to live in then what was the point?

Leo came back home and sat down on the couch after changing his clothes. The young man sighed and said, "These attackers were all young, young adults, and some were even teenagers."

Snow patted his hand and said, "Don't worry, it is nothing. These people are all just misguided."

Leo rubbed his forehead and replied, "Whatever it is I will have to handle it with efficiency now, I cannot just go out and kill them all. The media has gotten a scent of it now. They also know that I am strong enough to walk inside a building and take out several people alone without even as much as a scratch on myself. If the people died, it would be placed on me."

Snow hummed and said, "Well, then how about we put you out their a little and then you can earn back some credibility?"

Leo thought for a bit and asked, "Is this your way of calling me back to work? How naughty, trying to trick me."

Snow stuck out her tongue and replied, "Oh you caught me."

Leo chuckled and then two of them frolicked around with each other for a bit before they laid down under the sheets. Snow asked, "The twins are about to turn one, do you have any plans for their birthdays?"

Leo smiled and replied, "I have something that I plan to do in order for the first birthday celebration. However, it would need to wait till the Moon Base has finished construction."

Snow felt her lip twitched before she asked, "Have you ever thought what it would look like to the rest of the world? They would go crazy and forget about the stuff in the morning, they will come after our babies."

Leo shook his head and replied, "They don't have the balls to, and if they dared to do anything like that, I will not hold back."

Snow hummed, and then she reached over to cuddle him. The next two days, Leo spent time dealing with the Public Relationship matters, he offered compensation to the people who were held hostage in the school, and also the medical expenses of his 'victims'

This act seemed a but too loud to people but none of them dared to say anything about here. However, Leo didn't care about anything at all, he just did things his way and many people supported him in this, because they all knew how the world worked. After a week had passed, Leo went to the police station where the interrogation of the captives was organized. All the people still had braces on their limbs but they were cleared to handle the interrogation with the change in the justice system rules, the cops were not willing to wait for too long.

The young man stood in the corner of the mirrored room from where he could see the cop interviewing people one after the other. Leo stood silently, he didn't speak from start to end. He just listened and filtered the information. The people sitting in the criminal chair, they were speaking about everything rather easily. The cops were happy the district attorney officers would be happier.

After a couple of hours, Leo sighed and then he stood up before he said, "This is not something of a conspiracy that could cause the end of the world, it is just some kids who decided to make a quick buck from the sponsorship of the Eagle Nation Moguls."

The cop nodded, and Leo replied, "I will call the people to handle these things."

Then Leo came back home, and delivered a task to Alpha, before the bot replied, "Sir, are we to monitor the international trade transactions? This is kind of a deviation from the rest of the program."

Leo sighed and replied, "Keep the entire information apart from anything that is funding operations against us a secret. Also, main focus would be offline transactions. This whole thing might be something big but be sure to track it all down."

Alpha nodded and got to his work. Lily came up to him and said, "Baba, do you know I have been selected for the Junior division for the national music competition?"

Leo was surprised and quickly grabbed her waist before lifting her in the air and giving her a swirl, "Congratulations darling! Baba is so proud of you."

Lily giggled and then she replied, "Thank you Baba."

After that was finished, the young man sat her down in his lap as he asked, "Can you tell me what song do you plan to play?"

Lily shook her head and said, "The event is three weeks away, I can take my time to plan it all and then rock the people."

Leo chuckled and replied, "Fine if you say so."
