Elvin and Leo were cooking up something big and they were totally going full throttle here. After the discussion they began to write up proposals and had the artificial intelligence team look at it and optimize it. Although the operation of the moon base was a private thing but still the state organizations that were involved with them had a great deal of opinions.

If the company didn’t keep them in the loop and shared the information with them, these guys would come up and pose problems for them. After a few days, the whole family headed to the capital, because it was Lily’s big night. She was in the finals for the National Piano Maestro Competition. There were five more people in her category.

The reason the entire family was so hyped up was because this competition was not just something anyone could enter, but it was something you would be invited to based on the national vote. The entire country had people vote for Lily coming down to play the piano in this competition.

Lily looked at her father as they were standing backstage, the young man took the deep breath and asked, "What happened?"

Lily sighed and replied, "I was just thinking, the bridge, can I tweak with the tempo?"

Leo smiled and said, "Play it as you want it. This is not something that I should be deciding. You are the artist and it is your song now."

The young lady smiled and said, "If anyone asked, I will tell my Baba made me do it."

Then she gave Leo a hug and turned around to walk to the stage as her name was announced. The young man took a deep breath and turned around to walk back into the audience. When he sat down next to Snow in the centre the lady noticed the smile on his lips and asked, "She is about to do something, right?"

Leo shrugged and replied, "She didn’t say anything confirm at the moment."

Snow shook her head and said, "You two have a tell. Look at her smirking. Even Elle has the same tell. She smirks when she thinks she has something naughty up her sleeve."

The young man smiled, and Snow said, "Don’t act proud of it, these two are going to turn the world upside down if you let them be."

Leo smiled and leaned back in his chair and said, "What is so bad about it? Every new crop requires shuffling the soil."

Snow shook her head and replied, "How can you spew out non sense philosophy at me every time I bring up something that is mature." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Leo looked at her and silently blew a raspberry. The next moment, every one fell silent and the lights turned dim and focused back on the stage. Then Lily began to move her fingers. They glided about the keys and the notes began to fly through the void.

The atmosphere was really charged, and the people were already leaning forward to listen to the song. Leo smiled and mumbled, "She is already in lead."

Snow nodded, they were both musicians and they knew what it meant when someone was in the lead. The performance was going to generate a lot of good reviews from the people, and while it was not yet set in concrete, none of the Cardinal Family even cared about the prize.

Lily went on to play and Leo shadowed her performance with his own fingers on his thighs. Just then he suddenly raised his brow, Lily increased the tempo of the bridge half a beat, and that made some of the Judges shiver for a moment as well, it was because they never dared to do something like this themselves.

The Charge was a piece of music that originated from the period when the dynasty was founded, and it was said that the first princess composed it after she rallied the people together to work together for the social order.

As the song progressed, it was giving the people a great rush of blood and they were all leaning in to listen in to it. It was as if they could see the great rush where the people worked together to charge towards the better society. This was the reason why the song was called Charge.

In a few minutes the song finished, and Lily stood up from the stool. She walked over to the centre of the stage and bowed to the audience who woke up from the stupor and applauded her. Leo and Snow were also standing and clapping for their eldest with big smiles pasted on their faces.

Lily took the prize home and she posted a quote on Leo’s Mygram. She didn’t have one of her own, but she used Leo’s account as her own at times. Leo didn’t mind because his daughter was his press control director. Anyone tried to pick up any beef with him, they were shot down by a pair of light brown doe eyes.

The people reached the hotel where they were staying when Leo was approached by the butler of the Duke of Northern Mountains. He was surprised, as the butler told them that the duke has invited the people to the duke’s resident to stay. This was a formal invitation and so, Leo could not refuse, so the family packed up and took the twins to the Estate.

The palace was still standing basking under the glow of moonlight, the car moved past the palace gates, it had the supreme Sigil stickered on the doors but it still went through a complete check up and when that was finished, Leo and the rest arrived at the front of entrance only to find the Princess Amare standing there.

Leo got down first and then he helped Snow and his wife, and picked up the twins before he walked up to the princess and bowed in greeting, "Greetings, Your Highness."

Amare bowed back and said, "Greetings to you to, my lord."

Then she made an inviting gesture, after holding on to Lily’s hand and said, "Lily I heard your performance, it was splendid, even grandpa was driven to take out his sword and go for conquest almost."

Lily chuckled and then she asked, "Your Highness, how did you get to know about it? I didn’t notice anyone from the royal family present at the event."

Amare replied with a smile, "The chief judge is my music teacher, he shares the live feed of the events for me, so that I can try to comprehend the imagery that the big artists use."

Lily nodded in understanding, and Leo asked, "Pardon me for interrupting, Your Highness, might you be aware of why we were invited?"

Amare nodded and said, "Just a few minutes, my lord, and everything will clarify."

Leo raised his alertness to a higher degree. This was odd, he didn’t like being put in situations like this. However, after a few minutes, the duke arrived with his son beside him. They were both dressed in casual attire, and Leo stood up to greet the man who stopped him and replied, "Dispense with the formalities Leo, you are not a stranger."

The young man smiled and replied, "Thank you for your grace."

The duke shook his head and greeted everyone before he said, "Lily, may I borrow your father for a few minutes?"

Lily smiled and replied, "If you return him back in the same condition, only."

The people all chuckled, and Snow shook her head, however, she could not take Elena from his arms. The little girl was stuck to Leo like an ant to sugar. The duke said, "It’s fine, you can bring Elena along."

The teary-eyed drama queen calmed down in an instant. Leo patted her back and coaxed her with sweet nothings as they walked through the corridors. Elena also cooed a few things, she was basically asking why Leo smelled so nice, and how she missed him so much. The young man shook his head and poked her little nose as he sighed.

After they went inside the study room, the duke sighed and replied, "You really want to start a racing league on the moon?"

Leo smiled and nodded, as the duke sighed, "The ministry is boiling over this, they are opposing it."

The young man nodded and asked, "Could it be because of the revenue?"

The duke shook his head and replied, "No, it is not because of that, they also know that the sport is not going to gain much traction for the next ten years even if you start it. However, the main reason they are not in favor is because they think that you will be privatizing the moon and claim it as your own asset."

Leo sighed and replied, "Is the moon something that can be pocketed just because I want to? The entire thing is so fragile at the moment that forget a nation, one stray asteroid can destroy everything. Your Grace, are these politicians all dumb?"

Elena chuckled and so did the young prince.
