The space vessels designed by the Cardinal Group flew through the space, thankfully the people had been instructed to follow the instructions and they were all strapped in, the cabin was not spinning and there was no centrifugal force to keep them stuck to the base, because without any gravity, had the people been sitting without any seat belts they would have flown around inside the cabin.

This was something that could have caused a lot of injuries in this place. The flight lasted half an hour, before the captain said, "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to remind you that please remain seated until all the docking procedures have been completed, we will remind you when it is safe to get down and till then we hope for your patience."

The people didn’t mind; there were around half a dozen vessels lined up patiently just a few meters away from the surface of the moon. The first vessel to land was the one carrying Leo and the King. As soon as it landed on the ground, the docking process began, a pressurized retractable tunnel made from carbon-fibre material reached over from the side and using the vacuum technology created a no leak zone around the door of the vessel.

Then after the pressure stabilized the Artificial intelligence checked all the parameters and once it had confirmed that everything was fine, it opened the door, and a mechanized voice echoed in the surroundings, "The Lunar base welcomes, His Majesty."

The greeting brought out a smile on the face of the old king, and a notification to undo the seat belts was given as well. Leo was the first to stand up and he said, "We have a low gravity here, so everyone, please restrain from making any big and sudden movements."

The people nodded, but Leo first secured the Old King and held his hand as he signalled Snow to follow him as they carefully led the old man out of the vessel. The tunnel had a carbon fibre floor but it was very stiff under the pressurized atmosphere and served as a perfect floor to walk on. There feet and everything had gone through sterile spray rooms multiple times, they didn’t have even a single particle of dust on them.

Leo and the people passed the door, and slowly they walked through the pressurized channel and after passing another spray to clear off all the dust and germs, they passed through another bulkhead, and Jim operated the door from the inside.

Jim bowed his head and replied, "Welcome to the Lunar Base, Your Majesty."

The old King smiled and replied, "Thank you for having me here, Chief Engineer Jim."

After taking a deep breath, the old king moved through the door, followed by the rest of the people. Jim also greeted Amare, and after half an hour, everyone had come inside the base, after going through all the procedures.

The people were all shocked, Leo held the twins in his arms and Lily was hopping around curiously but she was careful, not touching anything and was followed by a long tail of her classmates and after a small tour, Leo said, "This place is called the inner region. This is the gathering area that we have designed for the cosmonauts that would be living here in the future. However, that would be for the future, today we will be using this place as the party venue, after all, it is the biggest space.

The rest of the places are separated by various bulkheads, and they are all set up for experimentations. This is why we are not opening them for normal people. I seek your understanding, Your Majesty."

The old King was sitting on a wooden chair, and he shook his head before he said, "Lord Cardinal, don’t worry, the vanity of this thought that right now we are not on earth but Moon is good enough for all of us to compare to the entire life."

The young man smiled and waved his hand, the next moment, holographs came out of the projectors on the side. He smiled as he said, "Let the party begin."

They had arranged for separate projectors to focus on the children and their dresses transformed from the lasers on the cloth, they all cheered and the party began.

Snow took on the role of the hostess and she arranged for the cake to be cut, at this moment, a voice echoed in his mind, ’Ping: Host, congratulations for completing two tasks at the same time. You have gained the deep space exploration probes and radar systems.’

Leo sighed finally, he watched the children dance and play in the gathering area, the old King stood up looking through the window. Gazing at the dusty surface of the moon. The young man approached him and asked, "Your Majesty, would you fancy a walk outside?"

The old king was startled; he could not comprehend the meaning of what Leo asked him. The young man smiled and said, "We have space suits for the people to facilitate a walk on the surface."

The old King gulped and asked, "Are you serious?"

Leo nodded and after a few minutes, they stood in a separate bay, where they had a lot of space suits. The old man asked, "Your space suits are all different than what I have seen in the past."

Leo nodded and replied, "This is nano tech. This space suit is specially designed for the outer ring of the base. It will fit the body of the wearer upon fixing. Another thing about this is, the outer ring is still something that is controlled."

The old King nodded, Leo then helped him wear a suit and after he finished, the suit tightened around his body, and then Leo put on the suit for himself and then they both walked out towards the lock door. Leo held the Old King’s hand and made sure that the old man doesn’t fall on his face with the change in the gravitational pull. Then he said, "Your Majesty, would you like to show the people a glimpse of the moon?"

The old King chuckled and said, "You evil capitalist, I have finally understood why did you call me here, it was to make me advertise for your moon space travel phase."

Leo chuckled and shook his head inside the helmet and replied, "You blame me wrongfully, Your Majesty, this humble man only wanted the people to know that even if you are the King, you are still a human who wishes to do what others have not. I assure you, that the step you take on the moon would be the first time for the royals around the world. I am sure you understand the significance."

The old man sighed and replied, "Fine, tell me how do I show the rest of the people what we are doing here?"

Leo taught him about how to use the voice command for the communicator and the drone that was attached to the suit. Then he led by example, and the Old King turned out to be a natural. He smiled and looked at the Camera as he said, "Well, so we are going to step out of the confines of the Lunar base and touch the surface of the Moon, of course, I am old and very prone to falls and accidents so Lord Cardinal would be helping me, making sure that this King does not end up dying from a jump." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Leo sighed and shook his head, however, since the Live stream had started, the people had been flocking over, without any lag. Leo held the hand of the old man and then said, "Your Majesty, when I say jump, please jump out of the gate, and I will help you land on the surface."

The old man nodded and after a few gentle drills, Leo said, "Jump."

The comms relayed the message and the old man jumped, Leo used his own strength and then they both gently jumped off the surface of the lock door. The whole thing seemed to be moving in slow motion, and the people on the earth gasped. Leo landed on the ground and then he helped the old man stabilize himself as well. Leo said, "Your Majesty, your suit also have a smart exoskeleton that would adapt to your physical movements and allow you to experience the moon from a much closer side."

That said, he initiated the exoskeleton and they began to walk around the place, however, Leo had taken the screenshot of the foot print left by the Old King when he landed on the moon for the first time. He said, "Your Highness, this place will be secured by the staff and your footprint would stay intact until we have extracted it from the ground and placed it on the museum inside the base."

The people watching the stream could all listen to what Leo was saying, and they all began to comment that they wanted to go to the moon as well.

Leo smiled and the scene because this was really a good advertisement strategy.
