Alpha Rejected His True Luna
Chapter 133: Alpha, You Ignore Me
Kane
How can someone be so damn beautiful, elegant, funny, and yet so like a princess from the Winter Land of a distant galaxy?
My she-wolf looked exactly as I imagined when I started creating this dress with her in mind.
Ethereal, angelic, breathtaking, and captivating. I was completely in love with this magnificent woman.
At first, I thought I’d give this dress to her for her birthday when it was finished. But she had become our star, and I knew now was the right time.
Forgetting everything else, I gazed hungrily at her, bathed in the light of the sconces, illuminated by their brightness. She seemed to radiate a regal luxury that made everyone around me angry.
Seeing my confused gaze, she gave me a shy smile, picked up the edges of the dress, and twirled in it.
Under the bright lights of the runway, the iridescent shades of deep blue and raspberry red shimmered like cosmic clouds around my Blue Rose.
The dress came alive, like a scattering of stars reflecting the light, sparkling like distant constellations.
The fabric flowed over her luxurious body exactly as I’d imagined. Like a Celestial Dream, it creates a mesmerizing illusion of swirling stardust, as if it were dancing at the very heart of the universe.
Her every graceful movement colored the air with magic, leaving me breathless under her spell.
Ranold decided to ruin the moment by opening his wide mouth.
"Amazing. I’ve never seen a CEO so eager for his secretary. That dress cost a fortune." Irritated that he’d ruined the moment and my attention, I shot him a devilish glare and moved on.
"Sir, perfect timing. I was going to start with Zara, but you could rehearse together," Halima suggested, seeing me ascend the stage.
"Of course."
I approached her, enveloped in her usual fruity scent, with her thick scarlet hair falling over her shoulders. Zara was simply gorgeous.
Her mischievous eyes never left me as she spoke, as I wrapped my arms around her waist. "Thank you! I..." I’ve never seen a dress like this before. You’re so talented."
"Glad you liked it, Zara. You look stunning. Like a princess from a galaxy far, far away," I complimented her openly.
She giggled like melodious bells. Even her laughter became a melody for me.
"What a couple we are! An alien from Neptune and a long-lost princess from a galaxy far, far away." She winked at me, and my heart softened, filled with these alien feelings I had no idea what to do with.
I wanted to say, "A couple who loves to eat each other." But at that moment, I held back.
"Let’s put on a show." I tried not to reveal too much of my feelings for this magnificent woman.
She gave me a deft nod, straightening up and looking out at the small audience. Her soft hand wrapped around my arm.
Ranold sat down next to the other male models. Charlie and Miranda sat in the front row, cheering Zara on. She waved to her human friends.
Halima directed us to our seats, and we began as soon as the music began.
The dress became the talk of Sterling’s empire. Everyone was absolutely delighted. After the rehearsal, I saw all the female models gathered around Zara, touching the dress and... Complimenting her.
I had another meeting scheduled, so I left Miranda and Charlie with her and took Ranold with me.
By the end of the day, our invitations were ready. I left the marketing department in charge of distributing them, and I saved a few for Zara.
After picking her up from the rehearsal room, we decided to head home. She was wearing a long coat, as it had become very cold outside, and snow was expected for the winter gala.
Today, she looked excited and cheerful. I think she really liked the dress.
"Here," I handed her the red and white envelopes with the company logo containing the invitations.
"Invite your family and whoever you want."
She excitedly snatched them from me and, leaning towards me, touched my left cheek with her soft lips.
"Thank you! For everything you’ve done for me. I appreciate you so much, Alpha." Her words were heartfelt, and I knew she meant them wholeheartedly.
A blush crept onto her cheeks as she gazed joyfully at the invitations. "They turned out gorgeous. I can’t wait for the big day."
"Me too," I added, hoping everything would go smoothly. Zara hadn’t received any threats since she changed her number, and I didn’t want a repeat of what happened at the board meeting.
I was going to keep her close; no one, absolutely no one, would harm her. The next few days were incredibly stressful for both of us. Sometimes I had to send her home with Olfi and Kaysir because I had to stay late at the office.
We didn’t get to spend much time together, except for our runway rehearsals. Usually, when I came home, she was asleep, and I didn’t want to wake her. The messages she sent me also piled up because I couldn’t find time to talk to her.
To make amends, I filmed another video and posted it. She immediately liked it, showing that she missed me. Two days before the Winter Gala, she came to me and solemnly declared, "You ignored me. Alpha"
There was a hint of sadness in her voice. This news shook my heart, as if someone had stabbed it with a sharp knife.
"Ignored you?" The word escaped my lips before I could stop myself.
"Yes!" She nodded, but I could see the despondency creeping over her. We’d both become so accustomed to each other that it was hard for us to let go.
Before I knew it, I’d grabbed her and pulled her close. That’s the thing with Zara: she always came willingly, oblivious to my touch.
"Okay, we will spend time." I looked at her feverishly, making sure she understood what I was saying.
Her hands cupped my face, and she smiled tenderly. "Stop worrying so much, you big, cold alien. I’ll always call you first." 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
If only... if only I could press my lips to hers and taste her soul. My wild gaze fell on her lips. Hungry and insatiable, I struggled to maintain these boundaries.
Fuck it.
Pulling her closer, I crushed my lips to hers, and she melted in my arms.
