Alpha Rejected His True Luna
Chapter 265: Ready For Attack
Alpha
They say what goes around comes around.
I broke Zara’s heart, and someone did the same to my brother. Although I didn’t cheat on Zara, I betrayed her trust many times. And now I won’t have peace. This is the life I chose. These are the decisions I made.
It was entirely my fault; my mate was kidnapped. None. Pain and despair wouldn’t help.
I was going to erase it.
Finally, the announcement of imminent boarding sounded.
We faked smiles and exited the plane. Showing our passports where required, we headed for the exit. Brandon looked tense next to me, so I whispered, "Relax! We’re almost there."
We exited calmly, without any inconvenience. I think they were looking for a man with black hair and honey eyes, not brown and blue.
We calmly walked out of the airport and got into the car they had prepared for me. Hades, my personal bodyguard, was there.
He worked with Alpha Baron. This wolf was as strong as a rock and had a robotic face.
No emotion, just business.
"Welcome, Alpha. To the secret warehouse?" he asked, leaving the door open for Brandon. I nodded silently.
Although I preferred Hunter, I told him to stay at the villa to avoid suspicion. No one was to know of my return.
Keysir called, and I told him to return Marcus’s jeep and stay close to his bungalow.
"Keep an eye on who comes in and out, and find out where the cameras are. We’ll join you soon."
I wanted to be one step ahead of Marcus and get to him before he realized what had happened.
After talking with Keysir, I called Zara’s father from the car. It was a risk, but I knew that if anyone would listen to me, it would be him.
I tried to explain and plead with him, but he refused. No one would, especially my father, when so much evidence had already accumulated against me.
So I made one last attempt.
"I didn’t know before, but now I know that Marcus is Doran’s son. He has a motive for turning against your daughter, but I don’t. Think about it. Why would I even hurt her?"
There was silence on his part, and I realized he must be thinking about something.
"As far as I know, you two are working together because of your terrible fathers. I warn you again, Alpha. If I don’t find my daughter, I will put an end to your miserable life."
I wanted to state my point again, but he angrily interrupted my conversation. I sighed in frustration. This would be more difficult than I expected.
"Once you find her, everyone will believe you. For now, focus on saving her," Brandon advised as the car pulled into the parking lot of my secret warehouse. He was the voice of reason.
"Go rest at the hotel, I’ll contact you as soon as everything is done." Hearing my words, he leaned closer, hugged me tightly, and whispered in a trembling voice, "Be careful."
I kissed him lightly on the top of his head. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
"I will."
Hades held the door for me, and I got out of the car.
"Take Brandon to the hotel and keep him safe," I ordered the driver, and he nodded respectfully in agreement.
As soon as the car drove away, I confidently stepped into the warehouse.
My personal army was already assembled there, awaiting my orders and instructions... all that remained was to devise a plan and organize a rescue operation for my mate.
I slowly approached the men and stood facing them under the dim yellow light of the hanging lamp. They all stood guard, wearing body armor, their faces determined.
On the large table lay pistols, communication devices, ropes, explosives, alarm disarmers, and other equipment needed for our raid. I also asked for a first aid kit, and it was standing at the side of the table.
Grabbing my wig, I took it off and tossed it on the table. With my fingers, I pulled out the contacts and discarded them.
Placing my hands on the table, I leaned over and turned to face the highly trained extraction team.
Their faces were tense, and their gazes were focused solely on me. They were only awaiting my command, and I didn’t even want to ask how they smuggled all those weapons here.
Taking out my phone, I pulled out a photo of Zara. The one we made for Christmas, and showed it to them.
"This is your Luna. She’s been kidnapped, and this is a rescue mission. I need everyone there captured alive, so use tranquilizers. We will not kill anyone. Understood?"
Sharp nods, followed by words. Hades stepped forward and began giving instructions to the team. He had a long scar running from his left eyebrow to the edge of his cheek.
Hades was Alpha Baron’s most trusted wolf, so he was reliable.
He turned to face me. "We’ll need a preliminary map of his bungalow," Hades asked, handing me a large white sheet of paper and a marker.
I’d been to Marcus’s several times, so I took a marker and drew what I remembered.
"He has one front-facing camera and an alarm. I’m sure he must have more cameras by now." I noted the location of the camera and alarm before continuing.
"There must be an underground room. I’ve never seen it, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. I’m pretty sure that’s where he keeps it."
I marked two more locations that I assumed led to the underground room. The marker made a scraping sound as it hit the paper.
"Or this one."
There was a collective nod.
Then I gave them the coordinates of Ranald’s house so they could set their GPS devices.
"We’ll find the room and our Luna. Trust us," Hades replied with a knowing glint in his eyes.
"I trust you, boys. All of you."
They picked up their pistols, and one was handed to me.
The desire to make this traitor, Marcus, my first victim,m not only gave me courage but also brought me immense satisfaction.
