Looking down from the sky, the Tonygal area is high at both ends and low in the middle, with a basin in the southwest direction where Cold Fir Fortress is located. Gazing eastward from Cold Fir Fortress, beneath the azure sky are the undulating shadows of mountains. Vast hilly areas spread down from the western slopes of Glahar Mountain, where the tributaries of the Griss River converge. It becomes the best hunting ground in autumn and winter, the forest area is most dense here.

This is at the junction of the Mintai Region and Lengshan Domain, connecting north to Pallas, while east you can enter the Shafren Mine. It guards the most important passage out of the Tonygal area, which is exactly the best site Lord Brando envisioned for the Tonygal keep. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

Although the terrain is uneven, terrain is never a problem for the Dwarves. This plan is only just begun due to financial constraints, with some troops stationed among the hills, and only a few fortresses erected on the vital roads.

In the central area of the hills, the forest is cleared to create an open space. Originally meant to be a lush, green place, the clearing is now covered with rocks gathered from the forest, on whose grey, uneven surface is drawn a massive Array.

Multiple concentric circles form the main body of this Array, inscribed with numerous mysterious runes. Even the most prestigious Masters in the Royal Society of Erune might not be able to recognize these ancient texts. For Lord Brando, this Array is at least from the era before the Dark Dragon, surely tracing back to the Battle of Dusk.

A mysterious power flows within the Array, like the whispers of the woods, a pure force of nature fills the forest. Green vines visibly grow from the crevices between the rocks at a speed observable to the naked eye. Despite being constructed less than a week ago, the vines' rampant growth gives them the appearance of having been asleep in the forest for centuries. This abnormal phenomenon of flourishing plants has been ongoing for several days, as if the Array can gather the magic power within the forest.

This is the completed Valhalla central law Array, at the center of which is a groove perfectly aligned with the city core in Lord Brando's hand, reserved specifically for it.

"The Array doesn't need an external magic power source; once completed, it can extract free magic power. Such powerful laws, even we Silver Elves don't possess," Medisha remarked, watching the Array in the forest with admiration. "What a pure natural aura, Lord, you are truly remarkable."

"This isn't my creation," Brando replied modestly.

"That's true, but none can decipher the information about this Array on the crystal, even the Druid Elders from Black Forest are powerless. Yet, Lord, you happen to have read ancient texts on this matter—a fate's choice, indeed," Furlo, the older sister among the Wild Elves, agreed with the Elf Princess's words.

Upon hearing Furlo's words, Brando smiled. There weren't any ancient texts; his ability to interpret the crystal was more due to his unique identity enabling him to understand the true purpose of an item through extra information projected onto his retina, whereas the natives could only guess through archaeology or basic appraisal methods.

"So, Brando, when should the crystal be placed?" Romantic sat on a rock and asked.

"It should be right now," Brando replied.

In past games, he had witnessed the scene of cultivating a city core. The city core is essentially a semi-intelligent artificial life, planted underground like a seed, then infused with magic power to grow.

However, before planting, a reinforcing Array is needed, something Brando was seeing for the first time. He inserted the crystal in his hand into the groove at the Array's center, feeling the crystal vibrate slightly in his hand and a dim light seemed to emanate from within, flowing out along the Array's runes like golden water.

Brando quickly shook his head.

In that instant, he almost thought he was mistaken, as a line of green text appeared on his retina asking:

"An unfamiliar request, connect to Lord System."

Brando's Lord System had actually been activated the first time he acquired lordship. The activated Lord System is somewhat like a town panel in SLG games, used for monitoring the operations of one's territory.
