"If I had to give a name to the Magic Land where Valhalla stands, I'd call it the Holy Land." Medisha concluded.

"Holy Land, that's a really good name." Romantic agreed.

Qian also nodded. She felt that something belonging to the Lord should be worthy of such a name—of course, if Brand knew what she was thinking, he'd probably blush.

The Silver Elf Princess, however, was looking at this young man who was now her "master." The Earth Sword, the Golden Apple, Valhalla—one legendary thing after another appeared at his side. If in the past she could still chalk it up to coincidence, then in this moment Medisha suddenly wondered if this was Destiny calling to her once again.

Just like Destiny had called to her back then.

For some reason, she suddenly began to feel a bit of anticipation for the future.

In any case, the fact that Valhalla possessed three Magic Pools was a pie falling from the sky. Ordinary players, when building a Territory, usually had to face a tough choice between the three essential Basic Territory Magic buildings:

The Wizard Tower, the Crystal Pool, and the Magic Workshop—of which they could only choose one. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

But Brand didn't have this concern. Tonyger already had a Magic Power convergence point that could generate a Magic Pool, and as for the remaining ones, he could arrange them as he liked. Originally, he intended to reserve Valhalla's Magic Pools for the Nine-Headed Snake's lair, but now it seemed there might even be a surplus.

However, Brand soon made a new discovery.

He had planned to convert the lowest Magic Pool into the Nine-Headed Snake's lair, but then he found that the lowest Magic Pool was actually not vacant at all—instead, a building called "Light Vortex" had already formed there.

Puling up the detailed information from the holographic map, he discovered that this thing was in fact a biological nest. The nest could produce a creature called the Light Essence Soul, something that sounded like a cross between a Heroic Spirit and a Light Element Creature.

A natural nest within the Territory—this was absolutely an unexpected windfall. Nests were never common goods in any era of Amber Sword—of course, nests like Black Wolf or Flying Dragon were exceptions—but Brand was certain that a nest within Valhalla could not possibly be that sort of cheap stock, and nest creatures were almost always very powerful. He was itching to find out what exactly this Light Essence Soul was.

He proposed they go down and take a look. The ladies naturally wouldn't object; only Furlo stayed behind. Her reasoning was that Brand was nurturing Valhalla's core here, and the Orderlies outside could bring news from Fir City at any moment. Once those mercenaries saw a tree appear out of thin air here, they'd probably be scared half to death. She would remain outside to prevent any unnecessary complications.

As for the meticulousness of this older sister among the Wild Elf siblings, Brand could only admire it. Among all his subordinates, only Furlo and Antitina possessed such carefulness that nothing escaped their notice. But Antitina had recently been buried under Territory affairs and couldn't get away, so only this eternally poker‑faced Wild Elf older sister could help him handle these trivial matters.

Though she always looked like she was unwilling, her work was always first rate.

The rest of them found the entrance behind the hall that led down into Valhalla's lower hollow, and then entered the room where the Light Vortex was located.

The lower level of Valhalla was actually like a gigantic tree hollow. The ground and walls were pure wood—smooth as if polished by hand—but roots and vines still dangled from the ceiling and the four walls, carrying a breath of Nature.

Amid a large patch of Crystal Clusters emitting blue phosphorescence, two enormous vine tendrils twisted together to form an archway. At the center of the arch—a golden vortex about three meters tall was slowly churning. Its eye seemed like a passage connecting two Worlds, a beam of golden Light shooting out from within, hanging in midair like a bridge.

In the corners of the room, some fernlike plants were growing. Under the illumination of all kinds of radiance, these strange plants reflected multicolored light, making the place look like an illusion.

"It's so beautiful, Brand!" Romantic couldn't help exclaiming the moment she stepped into the nest.

"This looks like a Teleportation Gate. This nest is a portal‑type one, isn't it?" Medisha asked.

Brand nodded. (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, you're welcome to visit Qidian (qidian.com) to cast recommendation tickets and Monthly Tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation.)
