An Eternity With You
Chapter 277: State of you (1)
"Wait!" Nathaniel spoke up right before the knives could hurt him. "I’ll take you to where my mother is. Let’s be done with this relationship we had."
"Smart choice," Aurora made the knives disappear. She had no intention of harming Nathaniel just yet. However, it wasn’t good to hear Regina scream out for her to stop.
It was a natural reaction for anyone about to witness their father getting hurt but this was exactly why Aurora did not want Regina to tag along. Things will get messy and people will die. Aurora was not going to change what she came here to do no matter how much Regina might plead with her.
"Aurora," Regina stared at her sister in disbelief. The decision to scare her father happened so fast without a heads-up or conversation with her or Vincent.
"Where is she? Next time I will not stop them from killing you. Both of you," Aurora’s line of sight moved from the pitiful state of Nathaniel to Rachel who appeared shaken up. "Why are the two of you so scared? You’ve always known I was powerful and that I would one day wreak havoc the day I woke up. I have no time to waste. Where is Minnie?"
Nathaniel calmed his breathing after the near death experience. Contrary to what Aurora said, it felt like she was going to kill him a moment ago if Regina had not screamed. "She has been placed in a cell on the property. It is underground. I treated you well as if you were my own daughter."
"No, you acted out the role Minnie made you play and you were excellent at it. You treated me well because Minnie wanted us to be a family. The person who was honest was Rachel. That is why I find it hard to hate her for treating me badly but that does mean there aren’t other things you have made me upset about," Aurora added when Rachel sighed in relief.
Aurora and Regina spent a lot of time catching up with what they had missed in each other’s lives during the time they were separated. Rachel had always favored Samuel more which was never a problem as Nathaniel favored Regina mre but it seemed her controlling nature went to another level recently. Enough to make Regina feel like her mother was dead to her.
"I have done nothing to you. I’ve always wanted you to stay far away from me but-"
"I don’t have time to hear you talk about the past. Nor do I care what you have to say. Regina, stay here with your mother and gather all the servants plus Samuel to make them leave. Vincent and I will go with your father to look for Minnie," said Aurora.
"Who on earth is that?’ Nathaniel only now noticed Vincent’s presence. Strangers aren’t welcome in their home and the man standing with his arms folded wreaked danger.
"I believe you little humans call me the big bad wolf. For your family, I am the reason you had so much wolf’s bane planted around," Vincent replied to Nathaniel’s question.
Vincent planned to remain in the background while Aurora carried out her plans. If anyone tried to hurt her, Vincent would step in. He wanted her to have all the satisfaction in getting revenge on the people who trappes her for so long. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
"Someone’s coming," Vincent looked to the door waiting for the person to reveal themselves. There was a familiar scent of a man and he had an idea of who it was.
"Aurora?" Samuel’s eyes went wide seeing Aurora standing in their home once again. He experienced another shock when he found Regina who he had been searching for left and right, standing in the room with a smile. "Regina, Aurora. Where the hell have the two of you been? No, why are you back Aurora?"
Samuel never expected to see her standing before him. Why would she return when she knew they would cage her up. Someone granting wishes was not easy to come by.
"Revenge of course," Regina stated the obvious. "I hope you are trembling with fear from the fact you turned your back on me and Aurora."
"Enough Regina. Your brother did the sensible thing by picking his blood relatives first. You should take a page out of his book. How dare you waltz in here with her and a werewolf to get revenge on your family?" Rachel did not think Regina could go any lower but she was proven wrong.
"Family is not always defined by blood. Look what blood did to Minnie. Look what it did to her mother and everyone else who was disposable. There’s nothing worth having your sides. Have you already forgotten Minnie tried to throw me inside a cell?" Regina argued.
They were standing around in a room arguing while she was missing. Aurora was the only one who came looking for her. Samuel was pressured into doing it.
"You weren’t in the same position as me? I had a lot of pressure to do as Minnie wanted. I grew distant over time but neither of you stopped to check and see if I was alright. You were always with your smart ass comments instead of being a caring sister," Samuel accused Regina as he defended himself. "Aurora, I’m sorry that I tried to take you back but I was in a corner with nowhere to run."
"I don’t need your apologies,Samuel. It has already passed. Nathaniel, start moving. I want to see Minnie before whatever you did to her kills her. It would be easier for everyone if you all did nothing stupid or I will kill you before it is your time to go," Aurora gave a warning.
"Vincent, stay here with Regina and keep her safe."
"Minnie has already been placed in a cell, must you punish her even more? She’s not the best person in the world but there was a point in time you loved her," Samuel tried to reason with Aurora. Minnie was already paying for the things she did.
"That was before I knew the truth. I cannot love someone who trapped me here against my will," Aurora replied.
