Chapter 1487: Part 2: Developing Situations

Green Secret Land

Just as I was getting close to destroying the last few passages, I noticed foreign creatures had noticed my presence.

Instead of coming from the space crack, they had come from different parts of the secret land. Their numbers were in the twenties.

If I didn’t do something about it, then their numbers would increase. I stopped doing my work and turned towards the foreign creatures.

I brought the long black sword outside. Then I started covering the black edge with multi-color light.

Swoosh!

After doing that, I left the place and returned to the bottom. The foreign creatures charged at me. I gripped the handle.

Slash!

Then I made furious slashes at the foreign creatures. The blade swept across them. The blade, covered in multi-color light, tore through their bodies.

Boom!

The next second, an explosion occurred inside the bodies of the foreign creatures. The different inheritance forces shredded their bodies.

As time passed, I dealt with the rest of the foreign creatures. None of the foreign creatures were able to handle the power of the different inheritance forces.

They exploded right upon contact.

A few minutes later,

More than 20 foreign creatures were killed. I was sure there were other foreign creatures in different parts of the secret land.

After destroying the last passage, I would look for them.

One hour later,

I made sure that all the passages inside the crevices were gone. I didn’t bother to check the end of the passages.

Then I picked a direction and went to look for the foreign creatures in the secret land. I wasn’t worried about new crevices appearing later.

I was sure Dean Jerome might have started his work already.

Since he was going to close the space cracks from the other side, I could focus on eliminating the foreign creatures here.

Time passed.

It didn’t take long for me to spot a horned humanoid creature. Seeing that horned humanoid creature appearing in the secret land, I was surprised.

I was sure they must be here for some reason. Then I noticed something strange. The horned humanoid creature was burying something in the ground.

I didn’t know what it was, but I decided to check. Then I gripped the sword handle and brought the sword down to chop the foreign creature.

Boom!

The horned humanoid creature got alerted. It saw my face and recognized the face of the human warrior on the target list.

It ignored the thing buried in the ground; instead, it leaped towards the human warrior to attack.

As long as it killed the human target, it would get a huge reward. Dark energy covered the body of the creature. Its strength doubled.

Boom!

It tried to block the long sword. But the long blade, covered in the multi-color light, cut down its hands easily.

Thud!

The severed hands dropped to the ground. The horned humanoid creature was stunned. Creature didn’t expect this result.

Before the horned humanoid creature could do anything, I stabbed the blade into its chest. The long blade penetrated the chest.

Boom!

Under my shocking gaze, the foreign creature exploded into pieces. The blood-mixed body parts splattered across the ground.

I had never felt this thrilled before. The horned humanoid creature, which was part of the elite race, had always been challenging to deal with.

Now it was easy to kill the elite race creature. It was all possible because of the different inheritance forces. The combined power of the different inheritance forces was truly destructive.

I had a feeling this multi-colored force could really hurt a half-step Red Mark Warrior. I had fought against Purple Mark Warriors and creatures before.

I think in the future I would fight against Half-Step Red Mark Level creatures as well.

As I collected my thoughts, I turned towards the ground. The creature had tried to bury something in the ground earlier.

I walked up to the spot and crouched down to search. Then I dug out a green-colored fruit filled with tremendous energy.

Even at the Gold Mark Level, I felt a craving from my body. But what were the creatures up to? I had seen similar things earlier.

The creatures were destroying the remaining resources in the secret land. Then my gaze fell back on the green fruit.

I decided to consume it in an isolated place. I left the area. Soon, I found a hidden spot. It was like an underground cave.

If any foreign creatures appeared, then I would know. Soon, I found a spot and cleaned it after checking if the place was safe.

There were no signs of monsters or foreign creature footprints here. After breaking through to the Gold Mark Level, I had not consumed that many precious resources.

Before coming here, Dean Jerome had given me healing resources. I didn’t even have to consume them.

Then I collected my thoughts and looked at the fruit. I took a small bite before consuming the whole fruit. The cool fruit energy entered my body.

I started using the ancient healing technique to guide the cool energy through my body. As time passed, the cool energy flowed through my system.

The cool energy entered the bones, flesh, and organs. It entered every part of my body. I could feel the improvement in my strength.

Not only that, but the cool energy also entered the dantian. The cool energy came in contact with the inheritance forces. They were quickly assimilated without any disturbance.

Seeing that, I was surprised. I didn’t know what kind of fruit it was, but this treasure fruit was not ordinary. Dean Jerome had told me that some of the treasures could really help me.

Then I closed my eyes and continued to guide the fruit energy.

Time passed.

The scent from the fruit spread outside. It immediately drew attention from the foreign creatures that were freely roaming.

These foreign creatures were targeting and destroying the treasure fruits and other treasure resources in the secret land.

Right now, they have appeared near the underground cave.
