Chapter 1495: Part 2: Duel against Antonio

Antonio released a blade arc at me. If the blade arc were to land on anyone, it would cleave them into two halves.

I evaded the attacks one after another. My eyes and perception were reading every detail. In the blink of an eye, I got closer to Antonio.

Antonio was flustered. He didn’t expect Zack Lockwood to be able to get closer. None of the attacks were landing on Zack Lockwood.

When Zack Lockwood was a few inches away from him, Antonio made another slash. The knife blade released a powerful slash.

A powerful slash at such close quarters can hurt Zack Lockwood.

This time I found the blade slash was going to be difficult to evade. Right then, I used a movement technique.

"Lightning Phantom"

The purple lightning bolts covered my legs. In a flash, my speed increased. I shifted my body weight and evaded the attack.

The next second, I appeared in front of Antonio and my right hand snapped out. A fist covered in purple lightning and shock force struck Antonio.

Antonio felt as if a heavy mountain collided into his body.

The purple lightning force and shock force blasted him away. The next second, his body rocketed backwards before hitting the ground.

Antonio landed outside the platform. The landing was bad. He took a heavy fall.

This all happened within seconds. The elder standing on the other side was stunned. He didn’t expect Antonio to be defeated this quickly.

He couldn’t withstand a single fist attack.

On the other hand, my gaze fell on Antonio. I didn’t know whether he would yield or not. The one fist attack was enough to tell the difference.

Antonio coughed up blood. He struggled to stand up. He looked down at his chest. It was scary. The flesh and skin were torn apart.

The chest bones were hurt. He needed immediate treatment. If not, the consequences could be dangerous for him.

Antonio turned towards Zack Lockwood. His eyes flashed with complex emotions. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"I give up," he said.

Hearing that, the elder nodded and turned towards Zack Lockwood.

"You win," he said.

Hearing that, I smiled and nodded to the elder. Then I nodded at Antonio before leaving. I walked out of the combat platform.

Then I started going towards the exit. Once I appeared outside, someone appeared before me. The person is none other than the Purple Mark Guard.

I was surprised. Then I realized he must have watched the duel as well.

"You have defeated him in one move as well. Let’s go," the Purple Mark Guard said before grabbing the shoulder of Zack Lockwood.

Swoosh!

Then he disappeared from the spot. He brought Zack Lockwood to the Dean’s office.

We landed in front of the Dean’s office. The Purple Mark Guard asked for permission to enter.

Creak!

Dean Jerome was seated behind his desk. He allowed them to enter. We walked inside the room.

I saw Dean Jerome. He was smiling at me. It appeared he had watched the duel.

He said, "Your strength is enough to take care of the mission."

After saying that, he picked up the reports in his hand. He gave them to Zack Lockwood.

Seeing that, I accepted the report. I began reading it. Then I understood. The reports talked about some suspicious hideouts.

They should be investigated. They were located at the edge of the Star University territory. After taking a quick glance at the report, he knew what to do.

"Okay, I will do it," I said.

"Good, you can start the mission. But this time, the Purple Mark Guard won’t assist you," said Dean Jerome.

Hearing that, I was taken aback. Then I calmed my heart. I can deal with the Purple Mark Warriors. There is no need to be afraid.

"I will complete the mission," I said the next second.

"You can leave." After saying that, Dean Jerome turned towards the Purple Mark Guard.

The Purple Mark Guard nodded.

I stood up from my seat.

The Purple Mark Guard grabbed the shoulder of Zack Lockwood. The next second, they left the place.

A few minutes later,

The Purple Mark Guard brought Zack Lockwood outside to the transportation area. Here, the vehicles were parked.

Swoosh!

The Purple Mark Guard dropped Zack Lockwood here and left without looking back.

On the other hand, I stabilized my footsteps. Then I looked around before finding the flying vehicles. I walked up to the flying vehicles.

There were drivers here. I approached the driver nearest to me. He was an old man. I spoke to him and told him to drop me at Star City.

The driver agreed. Then I entered the car. The driver sat down in his seat.

Swoosh!

The flying car departed from the place. The car appeared in the air and started going towards Star City.

It didn’t take long for the car to leave the place.

Swoosh!

10 minutes later,

The flying car reached Star City. The car then descended. It reached the station and landed on it.

When the car came to a halt, I stepped outside.

The old man stepped outside as well. He looked at Zack Lockwood with a surprised gaze because he recognized the young man.

"Are you Zack Lockwood?" the old man asked.

Hearing that, I was surprised. I realized that I didn’t wear any mask. I was showing my original face.

Then I put away those thoughts.

"Yeah, I’m Zack Lockwood," I replied.

The old man was stunned. He didn’t expect to meet Zack Lockwood here.

"Okay, don’t tell anyone," I said to the old man.

The old man nodded his head. He then entered the car and left the place. When he was gone from the place, I turned towards the others.

There were flying cars here, but they were for local travel. In order to reach the border, he needed to find another transport service.

So I asked around the locals. Then I found out there was a transport company here. I started going towards the transport company.

The transport company was located near the residential buildings. After taking a walk around the street, I arrived in front of the company.
