Chapter 429: Rise Again, Cassandra!

Before Green Vine could finish his sentence, Cassandra's eyes suddenly flew open. Pale golden Prophecy Rule runes Flash rapidly across her irises, and her fading aura surged forward at an incredible speed.

Right then, a staff etched with Prophecy Rule materialized out of thin air and dropped into her hand. The crystal at its tip glowed with a blinding light. The power it released matched the absolute peak of Cassandra's prime.

"It feels like I've been asleep for ages." Just a few moments later, Cassandra sat up and flexed her newly grown left hand. Her aura had already bounced back to the peak Demigod state.

Seeing Cassandra fully restored, both Green Vine and Gray Bone were moved to tears, weeping with sheer joy.

But before they could even speak, the light of the time rule washed over their bodies once more.

In a flash, Clea's face, once pale from constantly channeling Life Rules, flushed back to health. Her life aura grew rich and heavy, even stronger than before, bringing her back to the peak Demigod state too.

At the same time, Gray Bone's white hair turned black before their eyes. His death aura grew thick and heavy again, and the death chains in his grip solidified three times over. He was fully restored to his prime Demigod state.

"This terrifying control over timeโ€ฆ is this Logan's power? How strong has he gotten?" Cassandra tightened her grip on the staff of prophecy. Sensing the familiar Truth Mark signature woven into the energy, she figured it out right away.

Meanwhile, deep inside Kane's Soul Sea, The Observer No. 1 felt his power being used to bring his enemy back to life. Instantly, he erupted in fury.

He frantically battered against the Soul Sea's bindings. The sea of fire from the Destruction Rule hissed and burned his soul, but he didn't care. Golden energy poured out uncontrollably as he threw himself against the seals, trying to smash them apart.

"Logan! I'll tear you to pieces!"

His roar shook Kane's body violently, with golden blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.

Green Vine, standing guard nearby, noticed the shift. He quickly drove a life vine into Kane's veins, pumping a steady stream of life energy into him.

The remaining six layers of creation seal flared brightly, pushing The Observer No. 1's consciousness back down.

His attacks failed to break the seal. Instead, the Destruction Rule burned him even harder, fading his soul slightly and causing even more energy to leak out.

Just then, Logan's voice came through the soul link: "The Observer No. 1 is trapped inside Kane's body. The Destruction Rule is backlashing him, so he can't remotely control the puppets mark."

"Cassandra, Clea, Gray Bone, head to Restricted Zone No. 33 through the ancient passage immediately. We'll try to turn Observer No. 3. His mind is only controlled by The Observer No. 1."

"With The Observer No. 1's power unable to reach Observer No. 3, this is our chance to win him over and gain more allies!"

The three exchanged a look and nodded at once. "Got it!"

Clea waved her hand, setting up three layers of life rune to protect the outpost.

Gray Bone whipped his death chains, blasting open the entrance to the passage.

In a flash, the three of them stepped into the spatial passage.

Three minutes later, the trio arrived at the outskirts of the battlefield in Restricted Zone No. 33.

Observer No. 3 was in the middle of driving thirty space chains into the space rift, trying to force Logan out.

Cassandra raised her staff of prophecy. A pale golden rune pierced through the chaotic space currents, landing exactly on Observer No. 3's forehead.

"I found it! Deep in his soul is the puppets mark The Observer No. 1 planted. It looks like a golden scar. Right now, the mark's control is at its weakest. Let's rip it out!" Cassandra's voice reached Logan's ears.

"I'll keep him busy!" Logan spotted the opening when Observer No. 3's attack missed. He flashed out of the space rift in an instant, appearing right in front of him.

His right palm gathered Truth Chains, which he thrust straight toward Observer No. 3's forehead.

"You're looking for death!" Observer No. 3's pupils shrank. He countered instinctively.

More than a dozen space chains wrapped around Logan's left shoulder.

Crack!

Logan's left shoulder bones were crushed to dust. His left arm hung limp.

At first, Logan didn't feel any pain. He only realized the pain nerves had been cut by the Space Rule when he saw his arm swinging uselessly.

Still, his face didn't even change. He made a hand seal with his right hand, and silver-white [Time Pause] light instantly wrapped around Observer No. 3.

Under the influence of the Time power, Observer No. 3 froze in place for one second.

"Now!" Cassandra seized the moment. She released a golden Prophecy Rule rune at the same time, diving straight into Observer No. 3's mind.

The power of the prophecy rule stirred violently, causing Observer No. 3's Space Rule to fluctuate wildly. Even the chains meant for Logan suddenly veered off course.

Beside him, Clea's emerald green life threads wrapped around Logan's left shoulder.

Fueled by the sudden surge of life, Logan's cells entered a rapid state of Regeneration. His bones healed at a speed visible to the naked eye.

At the same time, another life thread shot into Observer No. 3's forehead, stabilizing his soul to prevent damage from the puppets mark being ripped out.

"Oh no! He's fighting back! Hold him down!" Cassandra called out urgently at a critical moment.

"He won't be causing any trouble!" Gray Bone scoffed lightly and leaped directly behind Observer No. 3.

A pale gray death aura quickly enveloped Observer No. 3's head. The fear of death made his soul shudder for a full second.

"Now!"

Seizing the chance, Logan tightened his grip on the Truth Chains in his palm. Working in sync with Cassandra's Prophecy Rule, he forcibly pulled a golden, scar-like mark straight out of Observer No. 3's forehead.

The moment the mark touched the outside air, it sizzled and turned to ash.

Observer No. 3's pupils violently Flash, switching between the silver-gray of his own consciousness and the pale gold of the puppets mark.

A few seconds later, his pupils finally settled back into a steady silver-gray.

He looked down at his hands, his face filled with disbelief. "Whatโ€ฆ what have I done? I actually helped that bastardโ€ฆ commit so many evil acts!"

Anger and resentment flooded Observer No. 3's face. Memories of years spent being used as a pawn rose up inside him.

Slowly, the space chains at his fingertips faded from silver-gray to completely transparent, then vanished.

Logan raised his hand and projected an image of the Iron-Bone contract right in front of him.

The projection clearly showed that after The Observer No. 1 first arrived in the Lost World years ago, he had taken control of the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th Observers in turn, turning them into mindless puppets.

Even he, Observer No. 3, was just a disposable pawn to The Observer No. 1.

After learning the truth, Observer No. 3's eyes burned red. His fists clenched until his knuckles cracked. "How dare he! That bastard!"

Logan lightly patted Observer No. 3 on the shoulder and reminded him softly, "The Observer No. 1 is currently trapped inside a Demigod's body. He'll be free in at most three days."

"If you keep serving him, your fate will end up just like those devoured Observers. You'll lose yourself completely."

Observer No. 3 bowed his head slightly to Logan, stopping just as his knees began to bend. "Thank you! I want to go see him."

It was the Ancient Tribunal Observer's ritual of an equal bow, showing he acknowledged Logan as a partner, not a master.

Logan understood his intention and led Cassandra and the others over to Kane's battered body.

Kane's limbs were twisted at unnatural angles. A bowl-sized wound on his chest was still leaking golden blood.

Six of the nine creation seals were already shattered. The remaining three flickered constantly, ready to collapse at any moment.

The Observer No. 1's roars occasionally burst from inside him, making the ground tremble slightly.

"We need to reinforce the seals as soon as possible!" Cassandra raised her staff of prophecy and tapped the ground lightly.

A pale golden deduction rune spread out, forming the number "12" in the air. ๐š๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐ž๐š ๐•–๐›๐—ป๐—ผ๐ฏ๐•–๐š•.๐šŒ๐—ผ๐—บ

"Kane's body can hold out for at most half a day. The backlashing from the Destruction Rule inside him is getting worse. In twelve hours, his body will completely disintegrate. Once that happens, The Observer No. 1 will be free."

Logan frowned upon hearing this.

Through the intel shared by Observer No. 3, he knew exactly how strong The Observer No. 1 was.

He wasn't a True God yet, but he was only one step away.

For Logan and the others, just ordinary Demigods, The Observer No. 1 held a crushing advantage in power.

Worst of all, he controlled the power of 128 world essence and Divine Rule threads. That was terrifying.

Even with Observer No. 3 joining, if the five of them fought The Observer No. 1 head-on, their chances of winning would be less than twenty percent.

They had to stretch out the seal's duration to buy Cassandra and the others time to rescue the remaining Observers.

Logan looked at everyone and said, "Let's work together to reinforce the seal. I'll keep watch on him. You all go to Restricted Zone No. 1 and try to recruit as many fighters as possible to join us!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Logan moved first. He gathered Divine Rule from his eighteen realms into sealing energy and poured it straight into Kane's body.

Suddenly, eighteen beams of light shot down from the eighteen realms, piercing the ground precisely within a ten-meter radius around Kane. The rule-light from all eighteen disciplines wove together into a luminous barrier, trapping Kane tightly in the center.

Seeing this, everyone nodded and got to work reinforcing the seal.

Observer No. 3 raised his hand and cast a pale gold spacerune. It completely compressed the space within three meters of Kane into a solid block. Not even air could pass through, cutting off The Observer No. 1's energy connection to the outside world completely.

Cassandra carved a prophecy rune onto the inner wall of the spatial cage. If The Observer No. 1 tried to break the seal, the rune would light up as an early warning and absorb some of the impact power.
