Black Dragon Heaven and his Twenty-Eight Celestial Kings are all at the Tier Three Peak level.

Feeding on those of the same level, or weaker, generally offers little benefit in terms of strength enhancement.

If they want to quickly boost their power, they must devour those stronger than themselves.

Tier Two Peak powerhouses are the strongest combat force in this world, certainly beyond their ability to handle.

After some consideration, Black Dragon Heaven thought he might as well take advantage of the opportunity.

With this in mind, Black Dragon Heaven instructed Lou Jingou: "First, bring those two inside, then lead the brothers into ambush positions!"

"When I smash the cup as a signal, we’ll use the Twenty-Eight Celestial Formation to slay them."

Seeing his idea approved by Black Dragon Heaven, Lou Jingou exclaimed excitedly, "Alright, I’ll go prepare immediately."

Just as Lou Jingou was about to leave, Black Dragon Heaven suddenly called out to him, asking: "By the way, what are the names of the two monks outside?"

"Did they report their names?"

Lou Jingou recalled for a moment, then answered: "They did!"

"One’s named Manjushri Bodhisattva, the other’s named Manjushri Bodhisattva."

After Lou Jingou’s words, Liuyu Heaven was bewildered.

"Fight?"

"Fight again?"

"These are a bunch of damned war maniacs!" Liuyu Heaven thought to himself at that moment.

War maniacs?

Well, you can’t deny it; Liuyu Heaven’s description was quite fitting.

Because, the dean’s purpose in creating the Twenty-Eight Celestial Kings and Black Dragon Heaven was indeed to wage war.

To carry this war against the enigmatic forces into the Mysterious World, into the World Honored’s territory.

War is the reason for the existence of the Twenty-Eight Celestial Kings and Black Dragon Heaven.

Seeing Liuyu Heaven lost in thought, Black Dragon Heaven nudged him, asking: "Do you know Manjushri Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva?"

Liuyu Heaven nodded his head, replying: "Of course I do."

"Both are veteran Bodhisattvas, at least at Tier Two Mid-stage, possibly Tier Two Late-stage."

"Do you have any chance of victory? Don’t end up catching no fox and get yourself into trouble."

Confirming the levels of Manjushri Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva from Liuyu Heaven’s mouth, Black Dragon Heaven confidently stated: "This is my territory. On my turf, unless they’re at Tier Two Peak, I can take on anyone who comes."

Seeing Black Dragon Heaven’s full confidence, Liuyu Heaven realized he couldn’t stop him.

"Right!"

"I’d better find a place to hide now!"

"Manjushri Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva have seen me. If they recognize me, it might risk exposing your identity." Liuyu Heaven said.

Manjushri Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva, unlike Great Auspicious Buddha.

Great Auspicious Buddha’s newly joined World Honored One Sect, unfamiliar with Liuyu Heaven.

Manjushri Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva belong to the old guard of Bodhisattvas and are acquainted with Liuyu Heaven.

Moreover, it’s well known within the sect that Liuyu Heaven has defected to Lin Yuan, becoming a traitor.

If they find Liuyu Heaven now, by Black Dragon Heaven’s side, the link to Lin Yuan and Black Dragon Heaven might be made.

Black Dragon Heaven waved his hand, signaling to Liuyu Heaven: "Alright, go hide."

Just as Manjushri Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva arrived at Silent Sea, Guanyin Bodhisattva had already reached Peacock Great Ming King’s sanctuary.

Being a friend of Peacock Great Ming King, Guanyin Bodhisattva wasn’t stopped by the guard Kaiming Beast, but was warmly welcomed.

"May I ask, Bodhisattva, what brings you here?" Kaiming Beast asked Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Guanyin Bodhisattva did not hide anything, directly stating: "I have some business with your master."

"Looking for my master?"

"Bodhisattva, you might not be aware; my master isn’t on the mountain." Kaiming Beast answered truthfully.

Guanyin Bodhisattva, a newly ascended Tier Two Peak expert, especially known for understanding people’s hearts—could easily tell whether Kaiming Beast was lying.

From Kaiming Beast’s demeanor, it was clear Peacock Great Ming King wasn’t lying.

"Could it be he hasn’t returned from dealing with Great Auspicious Buddha?" Guanyin Bodhisattva speculated to himself.

With this thought, Guanyin Bodhisattva tentatively asked: "When did your master leave?"

Kaiming Beast, without thinking, naturally replied: "It was the very day my master left the sect, sending the young master to another world, and then he departed the mountain gate."

Peacock Great Ming King had already left earlier?

If so, it wouldn’t match with the timing when something happened to Great Auspicious Buddha.

With this realization, Guanyin Bodhisattva further asked: "Do you know where your master went?"

"My master asked not to speak of it to outsiders, but, Bodhisattva, you’re not considered an outsider."

"My master went into the Void in search of opportunities!" Kaiming Beast, not hiding from the master’s friend.

Peacock Great Ming King left for the Void seeking opportunities on the day of leaving the sect, and has yet to return.

If that’s the case, then it absolutely wasn’t Peacock Great Ming King who targeted Great Auspicious Buddha.

If it wasn’t Peacock Great Ming King, then it could only be....

Black Dragon Heaven!

Realizing this, Guanyin Bodhisattva slapped his thigh in shock: "Darn it, Black Dragon Heaven is up to something."

"Manjushri Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva are in danger."

With this thought, Guanyin Bodhisattva immediately got up to take his leave, preparing to head to Silent Sea to rescue Manjushri Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva.

These two were Guanyin Bodhisattva’s friends, and he could not possibly stand by as friends face danger, remaining unmoved.

Just as Guanyin Bodhisattva was about to leave, the front Void rippled, a crack tore open, and Peacock Great Ming King stepped out.

Showing traces of injury, though not serious.

After Kong Mengmeng was rescued by Lin Yuan from the Void, she informed Peacock Great Ming King about the events within the Void.

Peacock Great Ming King sought ways to enhance his own strength but found no opportunities.

Learning from Kong Mengmeng that odd things within the Void, upon touching her, would transform into her likeness, possessing her power.

Peacock Great Ming King had an epiphany on how to boost strength.

Strength enhancement, when broken down, is about defeating the current self, becoming stronger as a result.

However, it’s impossible to physically fight oneself.

Thus, Peacock Great Ming King entered the Void, deliberately allowing those odd entities to touch him, enabling them to possess his power.

Finally, he embarked on life-and-death battles against those odd entities having his power.

In these days, Peacock Great Ming King within the Void crack has defeated "countless" versions of himself.
