Their dark suits blended with the night, masks covering their faces, bodies radiating suppressed but lethal auras. Without hesitation, they charged toward Zephyr Kane, moving like trained shadows — fast, coordinated, and merciless.

Zephyr Kane’s smile widened into something feral and joyful.

He leaped forward to meet them.

The moment his feet left the ground, the spot where he had been standing exploded. A violent shockwave erupted outward, cracking the reinforced Grade E pavement like glass and sending huge chunks of debris flying in every direction. Nearby buildings that had barely survived the earlier impact groaned and collapsed entirely, floors pancaking down in a roar of concrete and steel. The force of his simple jump alone leveled everything within a thirty-meter radius.

Lian and Elara were already moving.

They leaped further away across the rooftops, putting more distance between themselves and the battlefield while still staying close enough to watch. Lian’s blue void eyes were wide open, shining with intense fascination. He drank in every detail — the raw power, the casual destruction, the overwhelming presence. In his mind, he imagined himself at that level. The thought sent a cold thrill through his body. This... this is what true strength looks like.

Zephyr Kane flashed past the ten black-clad figures like a ghost.

He didn’t even bother engaging them fully. With blinding speed, he weaved through their formation, his body a blur of motion. Two of the attackers tried to intercept him — one throwing a Qi-infused blade strike, the other launching a palm covered in dark energy. Zephyr barely slowed down. He tilted his body slightly, letting the blade pass within inches of his neck, then drove his elbow into the second attacker’s chest with casual brutality. The man was sent flying like a broken doll, crashing through three buildings before disappearing into the rubble.

The remaining eight tried to surround him, but Zephyr was already gone — shooting straight toward the Eternal Veil Syndicate representative.

The representative stood waiting, his face cold with fury. Dark Qi gathered around him like a storm cloud as Zephyr closed the distance in an instant.

Their clash was cataclysmic.

Zephyr’s fist met the representative’s palm. The impact created a visible ring of distorted air that exploded outward, shattering every window in a half-kilometer radius and sending shockwaves that leveled more buildings. The ground beneath them sank several meters, creating a crater. Zephyr laughed wildly as he pressed forward, his attacks fast and overwhelming. He threw a barrage of punches, each one carrying enough force to destroy a small mountain. The representative blocked and countered, but Zephyr was clearly dominating — his movements faster, his strikes heavier, his smile never fading.

Every collision between them sent new shockwaves rippling across the city. Towers crumbled. Streets split open. Fires broke out as power lines and energy conduits exploded. Thousands of innocent people died in seconds — crushed under falling debris, thrown from buildings, or killed by the raw pressure released from the fight. Screams filled the night, but the two powerhouses didn’t care. They were holding back significantly. If they released their full strength, the entire planet would likely be torn apart. Even so, the destruction was apocalyptic. Half the district was already in ruins.

Zephyr Kane was clearly enjoying himself.

He landed a heavy kick on the representative’s side, sending the man skidding backward through three reinforced structures. The representative recovered quickly, launching a dark Qi technique that formed into dozens of piercing black needles. Zephyr laughed again and shattered them with a casual wave of his hand, then closed the distance once more, dominating the exchange with raw power and speed.
