Awakening: I Ascend As A Legendary Ranked Necromancer
Chapter 128: A welcome party
The water she had gather shot off like a pillar of water straight at him.
The water mage know that the force enough will send him over, not to talk of the damage it’s do!
Temur raised his weapon, a long sword she easily lifted with his right hand and then he cut down swiftly, creating a small shockwave blast that was tranquil, and directed. The water pillar was splited into two, each half avoiding him.
The water mage can only stare in surprise because what is this? She blinked and he was suddenly standing in front of you. "You tried your best."
"What...?" She blinked when she found herself suspended in midair, when did she get here? "Wh...." she was still in a state of shock as she descended downwards.
Temur frowned. "She really did her best."

All around the ’battlefield’ the Climbers are giving their best. Original owner 101 and the others are looking at it all at once. And the difference between the level of Grimoire was showing as some win their duel with ease and some struggled.
But the ’guests’ don’t really care about those who are struggling. Their focus is on those who are archiving overwhelming victory.
Like the guy with the golden hair and eyes who set himself a table and chair and was having a tea while he reviewed some documents and lecturer his opponent on the finer part of doing business.
His opponent has since given up on trying to win and instead listen because he might actually get a job before the test is done. Because who don’t know him? The only one among their set to have a Guild of his own! .
One person among the guest laughed out loud when he saw what the bow is doing.
And then their are others who didn’t give the same grace to their opponent and just went straight to killing them before tossing their lifeless body over the edge.
Some who shout ’surrender!’ Immediately the match began and was taken away in a flash of light. The Original owner was also keeping his eyes on a lot of the special. Those who caught his eyes and the guests.
Like the boy with the green snake around his neck who smiled with all innocence that can ever exist. "Ah, I really don’t want to fight but I guess I have no choice here."
His opponent is a small dwarf with crafty eyes. "Well, you don’t have to fight. Not really, you can just give up."
"You know that’s going to make things difficult right?" The boy with the snake looks as if he’d rather be sleeping than fighting and the dwarf wanted to take advantage of that.
The snake hissed and the boy rubbed his cheek against it. "I know, I know. Let’s get this over with. Hey, don’t blink okay?"
Of course that just made the dwarf blink immensely. "What?"
In that split seconds something that, the dwarf found himself over the edge and the boy was still standing where he was but he’s now holding the snake. "What?!"
He smiled. "I told you not to blink or you might miss it."
And then there’s a demon looking at her opponent in disbelief. "Is this some Kind of joke by the Owner?"
Her opponent is part of the Church and he’s an holy magic user. His eyes widen immediately. "Demon."
She rolled her eyes and wings lifted from her back, solidifying from darkness. Her red eyes glinted. "I’m going to have so much fun here."
"Wait! Great lord of light please protect....!!"
The Demon with the wings of crow loomed above him and the smile that twisted her face made him shuddered. "Oh fuck."
At the end the Demon beat him so hard his holy magic can’t keep up with the healing and he was taking away.
She sighed, thinking maybe she should fly and see if she cannot pick a fight with others.

Litha stood in front her opponent and was frowning at the person because they look familiar but she must be mistaken because she’s never seen her before.
Her opponent, a short girl with pink hair who smiled immediately she saw her. "Litha! Aren’t you the girl that was rescued by Temur?"
Litha frowned then her face cleared when she recognized her. "You are Lola. I see, you are also taking the test." After the rescue, Lola was handed over to Thayer and he decided if she’ll join his Guild or not. But since then this was the time she’ll be hearing anything about her.
"So do you join his Guild?" Litha asked curiously.
"Yes! I’m one of the fighting force for the Gold Guild, I will be in charge of protecting and hunting!" Then she raised her hand and her Grimoire came to her, a giant black hammer.
She smiled at Litha. "You are Temur’s teammate, are you also as strong as him? I doubt it because you don’t have the smell of a warrior."
Litha sighed. "Just let us get this out of the way, we don’t have the whole...!!"
Lola was in front her her, grinning like a mad person, with her hammer already coming down on her. But all Litha did was smiled gently because just above her head a small blue umbrella shield and blocked the hit.
"Ugh!" Lola grunted, surprised because most shield can’t stand on the way of her hammer. But before her surprise fully registered something hit her in the stomach with such force she was blasted several feet beyond the cliff.
Litha sighed again and muttered. "The best skill any Awakener can get is the one that’ll let them calculate the strength of their opponents."

I was getting bored where I sat on the ground. "Won’t this test end? I’ve already done my part."
But unlike the strong among us, those weaker have to fight with their life on the line, torn and bloody, their victory isn’t something easily received.
At the end the first stage came to an end and we heard the voice of the original owner 101. "Congratulations to those still standing. You are welcomed to the next stage and to the fight for the Title."
Even though the candidates are far from each other, we all can feel the tension and the excitement the rose up. It seems the main event have finally comes up. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
"The way to show your strength is to overpower everyone else. To do this everyone will be issued a badge and a special spatial ring."
I looked at my hand and saw the right siting there and a black metal badge on my chest.
"The spatial ring isn’t keyed to any individual and you can only store badges inside. Meaning anyone can operate your spatial ring...if you let them.
"So the competition goes like this. You can hunt monsters and when you kill them then they’ll change to badges, the level of the monster will determine how many badges you get out of the. Another way to get badges is to take from other Awakeners, either their personal ones or the one stored inside their ring.
"There is nothing Illegal. If you wish to forfeit you can just shout surrender now and you’ll be taken away. Note that once you start the second stage you cannot surrender."
The voice was silent and then. "Of course there’s a twist, if there’s no single badge on you for one hour then that’s automatic surrender. You must have even a single badge with you to continue."
"To pass the stage two and successfully complete the floor 101 test then you must have a total of three hundred badges before the next five days. To join the rising star then you must have the ten highest badges among them all. What if there’s more than one person with the same number of badges? I say put then in the same room and the one who remains standing at the end keep their badges." He laughed.
I couldn’t say if that last part was a joke or he really meant it. But that’s not really my problem right now, my main issue is on how to get two hundred and ninety nine badges.
When I was transported to the ’unexplored l’ land as the owner called it I wondered why I was suddenly sent into the midst of monsters?
Both me and the monsters looked at each other with shocked expression and the silence that followed almost felt awkward as if both sides were getting caught off guard was embarrassing.
I put on my best smile. "I don’t have assume that you guys will just let me go?"
No they certainly did not because the monsters rose quickly and growled, quickly surrounding me. They are shaped like dogs but bigger with thick fur and eyes that glint with bloodlust.
I transformed my hand. "So we have to fight, then I’ll take this as a welcome party!"
The monsters jumped me.
At the end, I was sitting on the corpse of thirty something monsters with my right hand covered in blood and my shining with green fire. "Let’s see, they must be weak because they only provide me with thirty....four badges, one from each. Not bad I’ll say, for a welcome party."
I did my calculations. To meet with the others will be next to important so I won’t include them into my plans unless I did meet them. ’So for now, I have to focus on getting my complete three hundred badges. And I know for a fact that today and tomorrow everyone will focus on just monsters’
"But the days that follow? It’ll be a bloodbath for sure as Awakeners will take advantage of each other and kill and steal." I frowned with a sigh. "What will I do then? Our team’s strategy is to give it our best."
I shrugged and climbed down. "If I see the chance to reach the Title then I’ll take it but if not? Then no stressing!"
I gave my surrounding a good look, it’s a forest all right and the trees are so big they almost block the light from the sun. The undergrowth are sparse so it easy to walk under.
I have to map of the surrounding and I didn’t want to meet any other Awakener right now. It’s better I should hunt all the monsters here first.
So I put Hermit in all sensing and quickly picked up a trail of the monsters. It seems to be part of the dog like ones I just killed. And with my speed I’m like a darting shadow in the forest and soon I reached the pack that made their lair in a clearing surrounded by thickets.
