Time passed and the day of the auction came, In front of the auction house stood a tall man with dark skin.

The man was covered in a red cloak and his face could not be seen. His power at manifestation realm visible for all to see.

He went inside the auction house and a stewardess led him to a private booth after he paid for it.

The auction house had three layers of private booths, the lowest layer could accompany anybody as long as they pay enough.

Th second layer was meant for comprehension realm experts and the third for creation realm.

There wasn't a layer for sovereigns since the auction was not powerful enough to attack them.

The tall man say down and waited, a few minutes after he went in a woman followed into the auction house.

The woman had long golden hair but her face was covered by a blank white mask, her aura could not be sensed.

She too paid a large sum for her own private booth. The two people sat in their private booths and waited.

The staff of the auction house brought refreshments. A few hours passed and more and more people arrived.

Most were too weak and too poor to afford private booths so they sat on the stands below.

The light went off and a spot light landed on the stage below revealing a beautiful elven woman.

" Greetings everyone and welcome to the annual auction of the High Star Auction house.

My name is Fetra and I'll be your host this evening." She did an exaggerated yet graceful bow towards the crowd.

" Now without further ado lets get to it, out first item is sky grade rank 6 artefacts believed to have been a weapon of an expert that fell over a thousand years ago."

A table with wheels was pushed behind the blinds to the stage, on it sat a blue sword with lines that danced like rivers on it.

" This sword is of the water element, not only can it enhance any water related abilities, it has three abilities.

One that can heal the user, an offensive ability and a defensive ability, when wielded by a human it can even enhance their speed.

The starting bid is 500 earth grade essence stones and the bidding increment

is 10 earth grade essence stones."

The moment she finished talking the bidding started, those sitting in private booths kept quiet.

They were either too powerful or too rich for a weapon of this level to hold any interest for them.

The sword was sold for 700 earth grade essence stones to a member of a race of grey skinned humanoids, their race lacked long range offensive abilities so weapons were important to them since they fight in close range.

The auction continued, the host introduced the next items, it was a shield artefact of the same grade and level as the sword.

Shields tended to be more valued than swords and spears and so it went for 1320 earth grade essence stones.

More and more items came out and not a single person in the booths made any bid, this stage was for lower ones.

Then the host took a deep breath, " Well our dear guests, out next items is a special treasure of our auction house."

Everybody waited with bated breaths to see what the host would consider a treasure of their auction house.

She removed the cloth revealing a bottle of pills, inside it there were only five pills that looked misty blue.

" These are rank 6 sky grade soul mending pills." When she said that the auction house went wild.

The grade of elixirs and artefacts was calculated by purity, 30 to 50 percent purity was mortal grade.

Above 50 but below 70 is earth grade, from 70 to 90 percent sky grade and above 90 to below 100 is heaven grade.

An elixir or artifact at 100 percent purity gains recognition from the heavens and gains a divine spark.

Further enhancing its effect can raise the spark to an ember and under certain special conditions, to a flame.

As for natural treasures, they gain recognition by the purity of their essence, of course a high grade natural treasures doesn't guarantee a high grade product.

If a weak alchemist used a legendary grade herb to create an elixir, they might create a heaven grade instead thus wasting the pure essence of the treasure.

That's why treasures of that level are usually consumed directly, even for metals, some people use legendary grade pure metals as weapons instead of refining them.

The bid started while Ved was lost in his thoughts, the starting bid was 1 000 sky grade essence stones.

Elixirs were the only things that were more valuable than essence stones and usually cost a lot.

Especially ones that can heal souls, even those in the booths started bidding like crazy.

Although rank 6 elixirs are not very effective against those who had comprehended laws, it didn't mean they had no effect.

Plus some of these people had juniors who were in need of such elixirs. Ved didn't bother bidding.

The commission for this was certainly going to be great. The next time was a natural treasure.

It was a red fruit that looked like it had flames inside it, the fruits was called a phoenix egg fruit.

It was a rank 7 earth grade treasure meaning it contained laws of fire, consuming it can give one the chance to comprehend the laws of fire.

The fruit went for over 100 000 sky grade essence stones which was a lot of money. Those in the stands below did not even try to but here.

Then the host smiled even more than she did when she brought out the soul mending pills.

She coughed and everybody grew quiet and waited for her to speak.

" Legends say long ago, before the ancient great war that shattered Pangera.." she started, drawing everybody's attention.

" There existed many pill formulas, many wondrous treasures that people of our era only hear about in legends.

Amongst those was a pill known to be able to increase the density of one's will." The crown leaned forward.

" Well guests, I'll be happy to inform you that our house has been able to gain an entire bottle of said pills."

The crowd went crazy which confused Ved but he couldn't understand, increasing the density of will in this era can only be done through belief or desires.

Those were things that were hard to control since they had to be genuine to the soul. Even hypnotising someone to believe something would not work.

Which is what made him such an anomaly in existence. The density of will mattered more than anything in later stages.

A large volume of will can allow you see the laws in a much wider area but density can allow you to see them clearly and thus comprehend them much easier.

It's like being able to see far but with the eyesight of a shark and seeing no more than 20 metres away with an eyesight a hundred times better than that of a hawk or an owl.

Him who can increase his will density by harming his soul couldn't understand what everybody was feeling right now.

The host revealed a bottle that had three golden pills.

" Huh?" Ved exclaimed and Naledi in another booths also looked surprised because they both recognised those pills.
