Becoming The Strongest Using My Would-You-Rather System!
Chapter 136 - No Holding Back
The sirens’ singing paused for a moment, surprise flickering across their faces.
Then, as if madness had overtaken them, both of their forms started changing.
’That...?’ Theo glanced at them for a moment.
The beautiful young girls that they were before vanished instantly, replaced by an almost demonic kind of appearance.
They grew to at least twice their size, revealing razor-sharp sets of teeth like sharks. Their eyes had turned completely red, even their hair becoming far thicker.
Theo’s expression darkened immediately.
He picked up his pace, pushing himself to go even faster.
’Just a few dozen yards!’
Then—
One of the sirens suddenly disappeared from the bus stop.
Theo’s eyes widened immediately, spinning around.
BOOM!
The siren’s tail smashed into the middle of Owen’s giant rock figure.
Owen took the full impact, sliding back into the building behind him.
CRASH!
The entire building collapsed into rubble, nearby windows shattering from the impact.
"Fuck!"
Theo raised his hand, two large lightning bolts appearing above it.
Before he even got the chance to shoot them away—
SCREEEECH!
A devastating soundwave blasted his way from the bus stop.
Theo’s expression changed immediately.
The wave reached him without even giving him the chance to react.
Its invisible force slammed into him like a truck, sending him skidding back through the water.
At the same time, the gray sphere around his head began to tremble violently.
’Shit...!’ he thought, gritting his teeth.
The two lightning bolts above his hands flickered unstably for a moment before stabilizing again.
Far ahead, the second siren suddenly stopped using her soundwave.
Within a split-second, she lunged off the bus stop, shooting through the air like a cannonball.
Theo’s pupils constricted.
’Fast!’ he thought. ’Way too fast!’
Without hesitating any longer, he shot off both lightning bolts toward her.
BOOM! BOOM!
The two collided with her in the middle of the air, sending her veering off her path.
THUD!
She smashed into a car just a few yards beside him.
Theo’s mind raced, his heart pounding out of his chest.
’How can I use my Thunder Storm like this?!’
’She’s constantly pressuring me,’ he thought, glancing back for a split-second.
’And Owen too!’
Owen was practically in an even worse shape.
He’d barely even gotten out of the building before the siren continued its attacks.
With its insane speed, it crawled all over his body like a bug, releasing soundwaves up close.
CRACK! CRACK!
The large rocks around Owen’s body began to fracture one by one.
Even with how strong his ability was, it wasn’t made to fight creatures far above his rank. There was no way the stones could resist that!
Theo turned back to the siren opposite of him and gritted his teeth.
’Let’s do this!’
He quickly pushed the spear onto his back, switching to his umbrella.
Blue mana immediately began radiating around it.
The siren lunged forward, letting out another loud screech that made his chaos mana tremble.
But as it flew through the air, large waves of water shot out of the flooded streets.
It could only glance down, its red eyes going wide for a moment.
The waves shot out like tentacles, sucking her out of the air in an instant.
Slowly, Theo raised his umbrella into the air.
The water tentacles floated up, slowly forming into a single water sphere with the siren inside.
"FUCK—"
Theo hoisted the umbrella even further into the air, pouring mana into it.
A familiar vortex appeared inside, only this time, two different currents ran against each other.
"YOU!"
The siren was dragged into the currents, its sound completely useless inside water.
As it spun around, its tail got caught in the second current.
CRACK!
Her body was torn into two pieces, clouding the water with blood.
Theo let out a few heavy breaths.
’One.’
He immediately turned to Owen, his eyes widening slowly.
Owen hadn’t given up in the slightest.
He swung his arms around, desperately reaching for the siren.
Finally—
He caught her tail.
"Got you now, bitch!" a deep rumbling noise came from the rock armor.
The siren screeched even louder as if madness had taken over, releasing soundwaves onto his hands.
CRACK! CRACK!
Deep fractures appeared in his hands.
But Owen didn’t care.
He ripped her free from his armor and hoisted her into the air.
Then—
He spun around and—
BOOM!
Slammed her through the building.
The entire building shook violently from the impact.
Chunks of concrete and glass exploded outward as the siren tore straight through multiple walls.
Owen stumbled back a few heavy steps, his massive rock body covered in fractures.
Dust slowly filled the air.
For a brief moment, everything went quiet.
Then—
RUMBLE!
The rubble suddenly exploded apart.
The siren lunged back out almost immediately, her massive body barely damaged at all.
"...What the hell?" Owen muttered, his expression shifting.
Blood dripped from the side of her mouth, but her red eyes still burned with madness.
Just then, Owen’s eyes flickered upward, seeing two bright lights fly into the sky.
As he glanced down again, his lips slowly curved up.
’Perfect timing.’
The siren lunged toward him, a set of razor-sharp claws heading for an already cracked part of his armor.
But Owen slammed his giant stone sledgehammer down with all his strength.
THUD!
The street cracked from the impact.
Yet the siren had easily caught the hammer with both her hands.
Her body only sank slightly into the shattered ground.
Owen’s eyes widened slightly.
The siren’s mouth opened wide.
SCREEEECH!
A concentrated soundwave blasted directly into the weapon.
CRACK!
The upper half of the sledgehammer’s handle snapped apart instantly.
But instead of panicking, a large smile appeared on Owen’s face.
"It’s too late," he said, taking a step back.
The siren froze for a second, its gaze drifting upward.
Her red eyes widened immediately.
Rumble! Rumble!
Clouds had gathered above the street, yellow lights flickering inside.
The next second—
A massive beam of lightning slammed down from the sky.
The siren didn’t even get a chance to scream.
BOOOOM!!!
The ground exploded apart instantly, massive chunks of concrete and water shooting into the air as a gigantic crater formed in the ground.
A blinding light swallowed everything in sight.
Even Owen had to shield his eyes from it.
Only after several seconds did the beam slowly fade away.
Crackle! Crackle!
Electricity still ran through the water.
"Is it done?" Theo’s voice echoed out beside him, breathing heavily.
’I had to use much more mana for these attacks,’ he thought, heart pounding as he jumped over to Owen. ’Don’t know how many more of those attacks I can do.’
Yet Owen only remained silent.
His eyes locked onto the deep crater.
At the very center, only a charred skeletal remain rested within the molten ground.
