In front of the confused gazes of the armoured figures, Alex walked up to President Shin and gently pushed him forward.

President Shin found himself moving forward, the barrier right in front of him.

’Crap!’ President Shin cursed inwardly while preparing himself to collide with the barrier. But instead of slamming his face into the barrier, he passed through without any resistance and entered the Hong family territory.

Even Lishu and the Windrend were also dumbfounded, how did Mr Chen do that?!

President Shin turned around to confirm that he had truly passed through the Hong family barrier, he didn’t feel any blockage at all!

Before any of them could react, Alex moved over to Lishu and the Windrend before pushing them forward as well. Just like President Shin, both of them passed through the barrier effortlessly and arrived beside President Shin.

After getting all three of them in, Alex casually strolled toward the barrier and passed through it as if there was nothing in front of him.

The eyes of the armoured figures almost popped out of their sockets as they witnessed this. The scene was more absurd than someone breaking through the barrier with force!

The barrier was able to stop all entry, including teleportation and other space jumping abilities. But these three had simply ’walked’ through like the barrier was nothing!

"Now let’s go see Saint Red Sword," Alex looked at President Shin and said while silently deactivating the Void Walk skill.

He had opened both Void gates right on both sides of the barrier, making them barely a few centimetres apart. Which was why it looked like they had effortlessly walked through the barrier, they had actually entered through the system’s skill.

At this moment, the armoured figures came back to their senses and they all rushed to stand in front of Alex and the rest.

"President Shin, please stop. You know how our ancestor can be, he wouldn’t react kindly to this. We beg you, don’t cause trouble for us." They all pleaded together.

They didn’t try to intimidate the group or directly attack them for breaking in without permission even though there were over twelve armoured figures at the Sage mage rank while the other group only had four people.

After all, of the four, two of them were Saint mages and one was a Divine rank magic beast!

President Shin hesitated and glanced at Mr Chen. He could understand the pressure on these guards but he didn’t know what Mr Chen planned to do.

"Mr Chen," President Shin called out softly.

Alex glanced at him before looking back at the armoured figures, but before he could say anything...

"Let them be!"

A loud voice echoed through the night sky. Everyone immediately looked in the direction of the voice.

A figure flew over and hovered in the air above everyone, staring down at them with a dignified expression. On his back were four pairs of fire wings that spread for five meters in both directions.

This person wore a black robe made out of soft fabrics and had both hands folded behind his waist. A handsome face that looked no older than thirty, sharp eyebrows, and long crimson hair that reached his lower back.

This person had a noble presence that made others immediately want to pay their respect upon seeing him.

"Saint Red Sword," President Shin said in a low tone as he stared at the figure in the sky.

Alex also looked at the person, the impression he had of this person was the same as those powerful elders in cultivation stories that he used to read.

The armoured figures immediately turned and bowed toward the figure in the sky who turned out to be Saint Red Sword, the ancestor of the Hong family.

"We greet the ancestor!"

Saint Red Sword stared at them without a change in expression.

"You can all return to your posts, I’ll take care of things here." His voice sounded.

Without saying another word, all the armoured figures scurried away in a hurry after being told to leave. They felt uncomfortable in the presence of three Saint rank mages and didn’t want to spend another second there. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Moreover, since they were allowed to leave, it looked like their ancestor wouldn’t blame them for these people coming in. So it was only wise to run away immediately they saw the chance.

After the armoured figures left, Saint Red Sword didn’t descend to the ground and kept staring down at Alex and the other three.

"Red sword, don’t you think it’s disrespectful to make us look up at you like this? Why don’t you come down let’s talk." President Shin voiced out, visibly displeased by Saint Red Sword’s lack of regard for him as the Union President.

This fellow was just too arrogant because of the Void Eye in his possession.

Saint Red Sword didn’t reply to President Shin and kept staring at Alex’s mask.

Alex received notifications from the system that something was constantly trying to probe him but the skill of the system prevented it.

Alex didn’t say anything right away, he wasn’t here to fight so he should observe first.

Lishu and the Windrend just stood quietly in the corner, doing their best to remain invisible; this situation wasn’t suitable for them.

After a long silence that lasted a whole minute, Saint Red Sword finally spoke up.

"How did you do it?" He asked, his gaze locked on Alex.

President Shin’s eyes twitched, this guy didn’t even pay any attention to him.

’Do not ignore me, I’m a Saint too!’ he growled inwardly.

"What?"

Meanwhile, Alex replied to the man’s question.

"The barrier, how did you pass through it?" The Hong family ancestor asked again.

Upon hearing the man’s question, President Shin, Lishu, and the Windrend also turned to look at Mr Chen. They wanted to know how he did that too.

"Give me the Void eye and I’ll tell you," Alex replied right away.

President Shin "...."

How shameless! A Void eye for just answering a question? They didn’t say it out loud and just waited for Saint Red Sword’s response.

The Hong family ancestor raised an eyebrow after hearing Mr Chen’s exchange offer. He thought that it was quite shameless too, to ask for such a valuable item just because he asked a question.

But on the other hand, he really wanted to know how Mr Chen entered his territory with people from the Union without breaking it.

This barrier was his most proud work and was meant to protect his family and territory. If there was a flaw, he needed to know!

"I assume that’s why you’ve come at this hour?" He asked after a while as he slowly drifted down. His feet landed on the ground gently and his fire wings disappeared, he was currently several meters away from the group of four.

"Yes, I’m here for the void eye," Alex replied truthfully.

"I see, alright." Saint Red Sword said and with a flick of his right wrist, an object appeared between his fingers.

The item looked like an eye-shaped Void rock with an immense amount of mana inside it.

Alex used the function of the all-knowing mask on it, and information about the item immediately popped up in front of him.

’Does that mean it can be used repeatedly as long as the demon from the crack is kept alive? But if the demon doesn’t die, the crack would never close.’ Alex thought to himself after reading the information from the mask.

"I am willing to hand over the Void eye if you answer my question,"

The voice of Saint Red Sword pulled Alex out of his thoughts. He moved his focus back to the other party while deactivating the mask’s skill.

This statement shocked President Shin and the other two nearby, Saint Red Sword actually agreed?!

Meanwhile, Alex used Void Walk and approached the man. He took a step and suddenly appeared in front of the Hong family ancestor.

"It’s an ability that only I possess, you don’t have to worry about anyone else using it to sneak into your home. You should know that the ’Void’ isn’t something that just anyone can harness." Alex whispered to the man’s ear while taking the void eye away.

The eyes of Saint Red Sword widened slightly in shock, his pupils swept to the side with speed as he stared at the side of Mr Chen’s mask.

’When did he reach me?’

Saint Red Sword was in disbelief. He didn’t know how Mr Chen suddenly arrived beside him. Despite both of them being Saint rank mages, he was unable to keep up with Mr Chen’s speed!

If the other party wanted to harm him, he wouldn’t be able to defend himself!
