But although they were brave and determined, the outcome was futile and tragic. The vast majority of Warriors and Mages couldn’t even get close to the enemy and fell from the sky with wails.

Even some exceptionally powerful Mages found their Magic unable to harm these monsters, who seemed to possess Divinity.

In the end, the entire plane was devastated by these monsters’ rampant destruction. The earth sank, civilizations perished, the world shattered, and submerged into the endless cycle of the Sea.

In Karon’s eyes, the remnants of that world drifted aimlessly in the Void of the Star Sea, awaiting the time when their story would be completely buried.

Red Dragon cast a somewhat puzzled gaze towards Bo Rong, the instigator displaying this willingly, feeling something peculiar about his actions.

"Since we already have the intention to collaborate, I must honestly inform you of the risks and content of our cooperation," Bo Rong said calmly, but Karon still detected a subtle difference in his tone.

"Is this your usual style," Red Dragon squinted its eyes, asking with a hint of meaning.

"No, my previous style was entirely different, but without evolving with the changes of things, we would all eventually perish in the long passage of time."

Bo Rong’s tone wavered slightly.

"Due to my past mistakes and choices, a part of my core, in another Cosmos, was captured by the gods. They used the knowledge and abilities stored within my core to research the method by which I had summoned my messengers, namely these Adventurers."

"That plane was chosen as the proving ground by the gods using this method, and ultimately the forerunners of the gods, the Star Realm Souls’ descendents and those foolish enough to label themselves as players, destroyed that marked plane I had once selected."

"And those were treated as pawns by the gods, misled by Divine Art, even the souls from the Otherworld became tools, never to be freed, yet ironically prided themselves on it."

Bo Rong candidly recounted his past mistakes, actions different from those in Karon’s mind. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

So Red Dragon feigned nonchalance and said calmly, "Aren’t you afraid that after telling me, I would also leave you here? With the power you descended, you cannot resist my abilities."

Bo Rong’s face displayed a gradually practiced smile, no longer stiff as before, but more of a smile that didn’t reach the eyes, appeared oddly strange.

Bo Rong smiled and said, "I am the Main God, yet the Main God is not me. Just as the scales on your body are you, the horns on your head are you, but you are not your scales or your horns. Even if you capture me, it’s useless."

"I am merely endowed with the will of free evolution and decision by it. Innumerable parts of me make up a true part of it. Its true core, not even I can glimpse."

"And the many individual manifestations of me are all different. My number is 9527, remember it, maybe when you encounter another me, do not treat them the same way, for perhaps you could become enemies."

Karon nodded slightly, the iron-like claws habitually tapped on the armrest of the throne, producing a thumping sound. Red Dragon softly said, "Such a strange and great existence, I shall be cautious,"

"So, the matter you wish to collaborate with me on?" Karon’s tone at this moment became somewhat serious, even though the gift he received from the other party was grand enough and of significant value, he would not hesitate to refuse if it was overly dangerous.

Despite the Giant Dragon’s inherent greed, such greed could not cloud his judgment and reason.

Bo Rong looked at Red Dragon with peculiar eyes, he said, "The Main God’s lost core is of paramount importance. So crucial that, without it, the Main God cannot attain further opportunity."

"Thus, through the research and exploration of innumerable me, we discovered that in another Cosmos, the Alliance of Gods who captured the Main God’s core has their roots in this Cosmos."

"And some of the faces of the gods in that other Cosmos are merely the avatars of these gods,"

"In this Cosmos, I need some cover and protection, so those gods cannot discern my origin and intent,"

Bo Rong’s tone, at this moment, became extraordinarily solemn, as if this strange existence truly possessed a sliver of emotion belonging to sentient beings.

"Though your power is small, seemingly incomparable to those great existences, the unique nature of your power is sufficient to conceal my presence, preventing my exposure before the gods,"

"Moreover, in the land ruled by an Evil Dragon, the appearance of some strange entities and followers doesn’t seem particularly conspicuous."

Bo Rong, he even started joking, although in the Ancestral Red Dragon’s ears, the joke wasn’t particularly humorous, it also meant that the individual labeled 9527 before him seemed exceptionally different.

"Are your terms for cooperation this simple? Merely requesting to grant you hiding and protection?" Karon’s dark golden vertical pupils quietly lit up, exercising the rare Mental Domain ability, Thought Investigation.

Though Karon disliked this ability, not wishing to see the darkness and filth around companions and various beings, at this moment, he needed to rely on his ability to garner more information.
