Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates
Chapter 282: Eagle Attack
A palm sized beak swung downwards, trying to peck Jimmy in the head.
Anna walked out to a horrid scene, and she rushed to help. She saw that Almara had turned into a puddle, which was not a stamp of cowardice, but rather, she was shapeshifting to better fight the one-hundred kilogram, or two-hundred and twenty pound bird that raged on top of Jimmy's body.
Jimmy was under the bird. He was tackled.
One of its legs, its talons, was holding on to his leg, crushing bone. He was pecked in the shoulder as well, and had a big hole in it. Blood gushing out, sharp pains indefinitely pushing him into fight mode. He had no other option than to fight!
Jimmy punched the bird a few times when both of his arms were functional, but now, he was just covering his head, because he knew that if he got pecked in the noggin, he would sustain damage that he'd not be able to heal in time! Not even with a full mana pool!
He tried to tap into its heartbeat, and blow its heart into smithereens, but the sharp pain served to mess with his focus. What used to take a couple of seconds, suddenly seemed like a long term promise.
Anna did not stand idly by. She rushed forward, and punched the bird against the head so hard that she broke two of her fingers!
"You bony-headed motherfucker!" She cussed out.
Despite her injury, she looked the massive bird in the eye, and did not fluster over the fact that it was as tall as her! She grabbed the bird by the throat, and tried dragging it towards herself, and she tried to choke it out at the same time!
The bird was tougher than she expected. Her fingers barely sunk through its flesh, as it had a thick layer of feathers, protecting it.
Nevertheless, the bird did panic that a hairless ape faced it so fearlessly, so it began flapping its wings, to fly upwards.
Its five-meter, or sixteen-foot long wingspan was terrifying. A grand reminder of what they were up against.
Tears ran down Anna's eyes, as she did not understand why Jimmy hadn't killed the bird yet. His screams of pain told her everything she needed to know. It told her that he should've killed the bird already.
With its talons holding on to Jimmy's leg, the bird bounced upwards by a few feet. It saw him as food, and it didn't want to give its food away, no doubt, so it tried to take off in the face of danger.
"No you fucking don't!" Anna shouted out, and held on to the bird tighter.
Desperate, she started hitting the bird with her knees. It worked well enough, as the sudden stun to its organs got the bird to drop down. It stopped trying to fly away, and as a result, it tried to peck Anna's face clean off.
She expected this, which was why her head was close to the bird's. She hugged it as if it owed her money!
Despite its wingspan, the bird wasn't strong enough to fly off with over two-hundred pounds on its body. Birds had hollow bones, they weren't supposed to carry big loads, and Anna was quite aware of this.
She kept kicking the bird, strangling it, and at last, thirty seconds into the clash, it let go of Jimmy's leg.
With two major wounds in his body, he found the strength to roll away from danger, before he was stepped on again.
Losing half of the weight it was carrying, the bird tried to fly away once more. Its brown feathers thrashing around violently, in panic, and this time, it did have a better chance to escape.
"I'm going to turn you into a suit, bastard!" She kept strangling the bird.
Knowing its one weakness, she kept kicking it on the abdomen. Kneeing it, to the point where her own knees were close to cracking!
Her tears were laced with rage now, after she was sure that Jimmy was safe. He was hurt, but still alive. One would think that her tears could burn the jungle, or poison a thousand men! She was looking for vengeance now, not survival.
The bird managed to leap up a few times, past the trees, but she kept kicking it down. They thrashed across the trees, the bird losing its breath after every other second, its airway mostly constricted by her spiteful grip.
A minute into the ordeal, her fingers had managed to dig into the bird's flesh by around two inches, per finger. She was dead-set to rip its head off!
"You hurt my Jimmy, eh?" She grunted, after they fell from a tree, "Croak for me, cocksucker!"
Near the bunker, as Jimmy desperately tried to heal himself as fast as he could, he saw that Almara had finally shapeshifted. She turned into her version of a River Fatty.
Twice the size of the actual species, weighing at two tons, she was fully ready to deal some damage. She was snapping her jaws to contribute, but at first, she looked at Jimmy, to see if he was still alive.
"Go!" He shouted, "Help Anna!"
"Hoouau!" Almara grunted, her reptilian form lacking vocal cords.
Afterwards, she rushed into the jungle. She followed the line of destruction that the bird and Anna left. Broken branches, destroyed bushes.
Jimmy's right leg was so broken when the bird let go of it, that it would have taken a mild pull to break his leg off. He was in immense pain, at a scale that no machine could measure! He even ignored the hole in his shoulder, because his leg hurt far worse in comparison.
Panicking, about himself and Anna, he rammed a third of his mana in his leg, and he thanked whatever God was listening to him that he had plenty of mana to go around for once. He had a full mana pool when the bird attacked.
Within fifteen seconds, he got most of the bones in his leg back in place. He had to use his hands too, so as to help the bones get in line.
It was broken in six places, six large breaks, and perhaps tens of tiny ones, but he fixed it. Most of his femur was healed, and when he could feel sensation on his leg again, he hit it with ten more percent of his mana, and sealed his leg off.
It may need looking to later on, but he could stand up. He was alive, and the first thing he did afterwards was run after Anna. He completely forgot about the hole in his shoulder.
