[What do we have, Sage? Any leads?]

Lying in a bathtub of hot water, Kai let out a long sigh with his eyes closed and asked his trustworthy assistant. Sitting on the edge of the bathtub, swaying her small feet in the hot water, the beautiful fairy replied in a calm tone as her wings moved gently, changing color at great speed as if they were a kaleidoscope.

[Nothing so far, Master. The woman hasn’t moved, and the situation at the mansion is already completely under control. Heroes arrived a little while ago, and the police will be there in a few minutes, but there are no injuries, although the damages add up to several million.]

[That’s a relief, but there’s something that won’t stop nagging at me, Sage... That woman’s quirk was quite similar to that Tanaka’s; even her fighting style had certain similarities.] Kai commented in a serious tone, still with his eyes closed. Sage brought her hand to her chin and shortly after replied in a serious, reflective tone.

[There are certainly similarities, Master. Also, that woman said she wasn’t supposed to be here—it was just a coincidence... Could it be possible she came looking for him?]

[It’s possible, and if so, then it seems we’ve obtained a rather important piece...] Kai couldn’t help but comment as a ’wicked’ smile formed on his face. A similar smile appeared on Sage’s beautiful face, and she soon reported with more seriousness.

[By the way, Master. Regarding Tanaka, a hero agency specializing in missing persons took charge of the investigation, and Haruto Hado is buzzing around everywhere trying to have you considered a suspect or, at the very least, a person of interest in the investigation.]

[I see. What is Aiko Tanaka’s stance?] Kai asked, visibly relaxed, still with his eyes closed, to which Sage replied calmly.

[At first, she firmly opposed involving you in any way, but as time passes, worry is getting the better of her, and Haruto’s constant whispering is affecting her. For now, she hasn’t accused you, but she’s turning a blind eye to Haruto’s actions.]

"Huh?"

Almost at the same time Sage was reporting through the mental link, she let out a small sound of surprise, which led Kai to furrow his brow slightly and ask.

[Did something happen?]

[... While investigating the hero agency that took charge of the case, I discovered it’s quite close to Junpei Shiraki. He’s a recurring consultant for them, so it’s likely he’ll meddle in the case.] Sage replied in a serious tone as her wings increased the speed at which they changed color.

[The therapist?] Kai’s eyes snapped open, and he looked at Sage as he asked more seriously. The beautiful fairy nodded, looking back at her master, who soon added with gravity.

[Then forget "likely"—that guy has all the makings of a sociopath addicted to excitement and drama, so having his patient become involved in a criminal investigation is something he won’t be able to resist. He’ll definitely get involved one way or another.]

[What do we do, Master? Junpei Shiraki is a dangerous person; who knows what he might uncover if he keeps sniffing around us.]

Sage asked, a little worried, looking at her master, who brought his hand to his chin, reflecting seriously. After a few seconds, Kai sent a message through the mental link in a serious tone.

[Let’s speed up the preparations to interrogate Tanaka. Although we have a good alibi and didn’t leave anything linking us, it’s better not to get too involved with that therapist. He’s too observant and reckless for his own good.]

[Understood, Master. I’ll keep an eye on Junpei Shiraki.] Sage commented in a serious tone, to which Kai nodded. But just at that moment, Kai raised an eyebrow and looked at the bathroom door, which soon opened.

Like a cat stealing food, Tomoko entered the bathroom and closed the door behind her, then leaned against the door and looked at Kai with an almost feline mischievousness. Upon seeing her beloved, Tomoko laughed softly and ran toward him, then gave him a passionate kiss. After a few moments, Tomoko, her cheeks flushed, pulled back slightly from Kai and whispered in a voice laden with an almost possessive desire.

"You were so amazing earlier, Kai... You defeated everyone and came out unscathed... You were an incredible hero..."

"So you snuck in to congratulate this ’hero’?" Kai asked in a playful tone as he caressed Tomoko’s beautiful turquoise-green hair. She laughed mischievously and commented with a lustful smile.

"No, I snuck in because my insides feel empty... I need a sexy and powerful hero to help me~"

After speaking, Tomoko began unbuttoning her hero costume and tossed it away, soon standing completely naked, at which point she jumped into the bathtub. Sitting on Kai’s lap and wrapping her arms around his neck, Tomoko murmured in a soft voice full of sweet, possessive love.

"I love you so much, Kai... You have no idea how much..."

After speaking, Tomoko initiated a tender kiss with her beloved, who quickly reciprocated and wrapped his arm around her waist. Feeling every part of her being ’stinging’ with desire, Tomoko quickly introduced a powerful dragon into her interior and began to move as the kiss escalated in passion at great speed.

"It’s a relief to see that everyone is in excellent condition." On a small platform inside Class A’s campsite, Aizawa spoke aloud while looking at all the gathered students—classes A and B together—then added seriously.

"As you all could see, we were victims of a major villain attack, but it was controlled, and nearly all those involved were captured. Under normal circumstances, the training camp would be canceled, but this is U.A.! Here we always go beyond—we always go PLUS ULTRA! Therefore, pack your things—in a few hours, we’ll be heading to a new location where the camp will continue!"

Upon hearing the announcement, the students looked at each other in surprise, at which point Vlad King stepped forward and announced seriously.

"Additionally, due to the attack, it was decided to add the professional heroine Mirko, a top-tier fighter, to accompany us. She won’t be directly involved with you students; the ones in charge of your training remain Eraser Head, the Pussycats, and myself."

Among the gathered students, Kai, freshly bathed and sipping a cup of hot tea, couldn’t help but glance with a smile toward a corner where the beautiful rabbit hero could be seen smiling at him playfully. At that moment, Shino stepped forward and announced seriously.

"The buses will arrive in one hour. You may go prepare."

"One thing before that." At that moment, Kai raised his voice, drawing the attention of everyone present.

Seeing that all eyes were on him, Kai, holding his teacup with cats on his shoulders, swept his gaze across all the students and even the teachers, a dangerous light gleaming in his blue eyes. Once he was done, Kai spoke in a cold voice as the air grew heavy, instilling fear and even making some of the students tremble.

"Although none of you wanted to mention it, there’s something strange—very few people knew where the camp would take place, yet they still attacked us and were very well prepared. Too strange, don’t you think? In any case, I sincerely hope that none of you had anything to do with that ’mystery,’ for your own sake."

As Kai spoke, the air in the room became so heavy that everyone had difficulty breathing, feeling as though an entire mountain was pressing them toward the ground. At the same time, many of those present had the eerie vision of Kai growing larger and more terrifying, as if he were gradually transforming into a genuine Demon King capable of snuffing out their lives with a single thought.

"Saito, I understand your concerns, but this is neither the time nor the place to make those kinds of accusations. Rest assured that everything related to this attack will be thoroughly investigated."

At that moment, Aizawa commented in a serious tone while looking at Kai, who met his eyes for a few seconds before everything returned to normal and everyone could breathe again. For his part, Kai, with a subtle smile, looked at his homeroom teacher and commented in a calm tone.

"If you need my help with that investigation, I’ll gladly participate."

"I’ll let you know if that turns out to be the case."

Aizawa commented in a calm and firm tone while Vlad King looked at him with a hint of surprise. The red-clad hero had just moments ago felt the deep terror that blue-eyed young man could provoke—so much so that he hesitated and failed to act. Meanwhile, Aizawa looked at the students and ordered in his typical tired voice.

"Go get ready. We won’t wait for anyone."

The students quickly set off, so Shino and Ryuko took the opportunity to turn and narrow their eyes suspiciously at the "radiant" Tomoko. She had arrived just before the meeting started with freshly brushed hair—but clearly done in a hurry—and an expression brimming with satisfaction.

[We were supposed to hold back during the camp!]

In response to Shino’s telepathic scolding, Tomoko looked the other way and whistled in the guiltiest manner possible, which prompted Shino and Ryuko to click their tongues in annoyance. Meanwhile, Vlad King approached Mirko with a smile and commented, pleasantly surprised.

"I didn’t think you’d volunteer to join us, Mirko."

"I had nothing better to do, and here I can get a good fight." Mirko commented casually, which led Vlad King to glance at Kai’s retreating back as he walked away with Yaoyorozu Momo. Forcing a smile, Vlad King looked at the beautiful, athletic hero and commented. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

"Then it’ll be a pleasure working with you."

Mirko nodded casually and walked away at a leisurely pace, wanting to wait outside, but halfway there she was intercepted by a beautiful blonde hero in a blue hero suit. With a smile that made her look like a mischievous cat, Ryuko approached Mirko and commented in a cheerful voice.

"It’s a pleasure seeing you again, Mirko. We haven’t seen each other since the All For One incident."

"Yeah, I remember telling you to tell Kai to call me." Mirko replied while looking Ryuko in the eyes, who nodded and commented cheerfully.

"That’s right—my apologies. With how hectic everything was, I completely forgot to pass your message on to Kai. Is that why you decided to volunteer as an escort for the camp?"

"You could see it that way." Mirko replied as she continued walking outside. Letting out a mischievous giggle, Ryuko quickened her pace and asked in a playful voice.

"You’re really interested in ’training’ with Kai, aren’t you, Mirko~?"

"Are you trying to imply something, Pixie-Bob?" Mirko stopped and once again looked Ryuko in the eyes, who laughed and commented cheerfully.

"Not really—I just wanted to confirm how interested you are in my Kai."

"My Kai? What does that mean?" Mirko frowned and asked, but Ryuko simply smiled in silence, which led Mirko to open her eyes with a hint of surprise and comment in a defiant voice.

"I see... And yes, I am interested. Is there a problem with that?"

"Fufu, none at all, actually." Ryuko laughed, looking like a mischievous cat with the tail of her costume swaying coquettishly, then commented with a wide smile.

"Kai loves fighting just as much as you do—if not more—so I’m sure these will be very pleasant days for both of you, Nyahaha."

After speaking, Ryuko walked away cheerfully, leaving Mirko watching her with her head tilted, giving the impression that giant question marks were forming above her head. But seeing the blue-clad heroine disappear into the campsite, Mirko could only shake her head before continuing to walk and sitting down beneath a tree.

"Yao Momo, I’ve always found it curious that Saito listens to Aizawa-sensei, and Aizawa-sensei never scolds him either. Is there a special reason?"

Walking toward the girls’ section, Toru, the invisible girl, couldn’t contain her curiosity and turned to look at the quiet Momo beside her. Momo, who had been somewhat distracted, snapped back to reality and, after gently shaking her head to chase away the bad thoughts, replied with a subtle smile.

"You could say there is. Aizawa-sensei was something like a disciple of Uncle Jiro, so they respect each other."

"Aizawa-sensei was a disciple of Iron Palm?!" Kyoka Jiro couldn’t help but ask, visibly surprised. Momo nodded and explained calmly.

"As far as I know, he wasn’t a full-fledged disciple—Uncle Jiro was more of a mentor. But honestly, I’m not sure. I was too young back then, and there’s a lot I don’t remember."

"I see... Now everything makes sense..." Toru commented in a tone that betrayed her realization, at which point Momo looked at Toru and commented with a smile.

"By the way, remember the drawing thing? Last night I mentioned it to Kai, and he agreed—once we have a free moment, he’ll draw you."

"Really?!! Thank you, Yao Momo!!"

Upon hearing the news, Toru couldn’t contain her excitement and jumped to hug Momo while exclaiming with joy. As Momo tried to calm Toru down between laughs, Kyoka Jiro approached the silent Mina at the back and asked in a worried whisper.

"Did things really go that badly with Yao Momo...?"

The question only left Mina with a bitter smile on her face, which inevitably led Jiro to let out a long sigh full of an infinity of conflicting feelings.
