BNHA: Spiritual Aura
Chapter 343: Flowers.
--Monday, August 10, 2172
In the early morning, Kai woke up being embraced by Shino and Ryuko, who were sleeping peacefully. Carefully, Kai pulled away from the pair of beauties, then got out of bed, dodging Nemuri, Nejire, and Tomoko, who had snuck in at midnight. After leaving the room, Kai did a light warm-up in the gym—just weights and the treadmill—then went into the bathroom with the pair of cats.
Instead of putting on his comfortable athletic outfit, Kai opted for a black long-sleeved shirt, gray pants with black leather shoes, and a matching belt. After adjusting an elegant watch on his wrist, Kai went down to the kitchen, where he made a coffee, which he drank with a couple of pieces of bread before leaving the mansion. After greeting the guard at the gate, Kai got into a car that was waiting for him, which soon moved off in silence.
...
"I’ll come back on my own."
After some time, the car stopped, and Kai spoke in a calm tone as he got out. A tall, muscular woman dressed in an elegant suit nodded seriously and replied in a deep voice.
"Understood. Should I keep anything else in mind?"
"No. If they ask, just tell them where you brought me." Kai replied calmly, then entered a florist shop.
After a while, Kai came out with two bouquets of flowers and walked into a cemetery. After walking among the graves, Kai finally stopped in front of a tomb that didn’t stand out in the slightest. Looking at the Japanese-style tomb in front of him, Kai stood silently for several seconds before finally sighing and picking up the cleaning utensils that were there, starting to clean.
After some time, Kai finally finished cleaning the grave and placed the bouquets of flowers in front of it, then sat down on the ground and remained in reflective silence. Time kept passing silently, leaving the wind as the only sound, until finally the first rays of light began to emerge, falling on Kai’s empty face. As if the light had finally awakened him from his reverie, Kai murmured, looking up at the sky.
"Mom... I think I finally have a lead on those responsible... It took me ten whole years... But I finally did it... This time things will be different... This time at least I’ll get just vengeance for you..."
When Kai finished speaking, as if answering him, the wind swirled, gently lifting his hair, which brought a smile tinged with sadness to Kai’s face. He soon murmured, completely lost in himself.
"You know, not a day goes by that I don’t ask myself—what would you say if you were here? What would you say about my current life, about my relationship with the girls, about my fruitless search for revenge...? Would you be proud, upset, or disappointed...? I try to live my life the best way I can... Always thinking of your advice... But it’s been so long since you left that I’m having trouble remembering you... Recently I realized that, for a moment, I couldn’t remember your maiden name..."
As he spoke, the sadness in Kai’s voice gradually transformed into rage and infinite hatred. At the same time, the air around him swirled violently, stirring the branches of the nearby trees. At that moment, Kai looked at the grave and added in a voice laden with coldness and infinite murderous intent.
"Because of a sociopathic son of a bitch, I had to bury you again without being able to do anything, and no matter what happens, I swear I’ll make every single one of those involved pay. I’ll make sure they all feel the pain of having to bury a mother twice in every fiber of their bones, and then I’ll multiply it by a thousand. Only when their minds collapse and they beg for death will I ’switch them off’ so they can serve, until the last day of my life, as stepping stones for the safety of my family."
When Kai finished his declaration, the air swirled with such force that a small whirlwind formed around him, lifting his hair into the air along with some petals from the flowers he had brought. Within seconds, the air returned to its usual calm, and as if it had carried away his agitated emotions, Kai let out a long sigh. Much calmer now, he murmured as he lit incense.
"... I don’t know if you can see me or if you’re already in a new life waiting for me, but the preparations on my end are going well. I don’t know if it’s because of my age, or because of how strange the mini-self is, or both, but lately I feel that control over my emotions has improved considerably. Also, the training is much more effective..."
Like a madman, Kai remained seated and talking about things in his life as he watched the incense slowly burn away. Finally, the incense was completely consumed, at which point Kai got up from the ground and remarked in a much calmer and more centered voice as he brushed off his pants.
"Well, it’s time to go. I’ll come back another time."
After saying goodbye, Kai put on some sunglasses and left the cemetery, drawing the attention of some elderly people who were just arriving. Leaving the cemetery, Kai took a taxi to the city center while reviewing a shopping list that Sage showed him on a holographic screen that only he could see.

Wearing a sexy blue nightgown for pajamas, Yumiko came down the stairs stretching lazily, soon arriving at the kitchen, where she found Momo frowning as she read a note. Seeing Momo’s expression, Yumiko quickly approached and asked seriously.
"Did something happen?"
In response, Momo handed the note to Yumiko, who, after reading it, frowned similarly to Momo and murmured a rhetorical question.
"Kai-chan went out?"
"Do you have any ideas?" Momo asked in a calm voice that hid a hint of apprehension. Yumiko smiled bitterly and soon responded with a sigh.
"Where else does Kai go alone...?"
"I don’t understand why Kai always does the same thing... Why does he always go to the cemetery unannounced, alone?" Momo couldn’t help but murmur, full of frustration. Yumiko shook her head and commented in a sad voice.
"Some people are like that. They prefer to hide their weakness from everyone and voluntarily choose to face everything alone..."
"But we’re his family..." Momo looked at Yumiko and murmured in a voice on the verge of breaking. Yumiko sighed and replied in a heavier voice full of experience.
"Yes, we’re his family, but we can’t force him. Each person faces and processes pain in their own way, and if we try to intrude by force, we’ll only push him away."
"... I understand... Although I’d like to help in some way..." Momo commented with a defeated sigh. Yumiko smiled warmly and stroked Momo’s hair, then said with a smile.
"In that case, let’s prepare something nice for when he comes back. I’m sure that will help more than anything we could say."
"French fries and strawberry milkshake?" Momo asked with a soft smile, to which Yumiko nodded with a similar smile and soon added.
"Let’s also add ice cream or something sweet."
"Let’s get to it!" Momo announced with determined eyes, which made Yumiko smile warmly. She soon raised her hand and cheerfully commented.
"Let’s go!"

"It’s getting a little late..."
Hours later, in the living room, Tomoko couldn’t help but comment as she looked out at the garden. Ryuko added while her right leg bounced rapidly, visibly worried.
"I’m telling you, the best thing is to go to the cemetery."
"If Kai wanted us there, he would have told us. He wants to be alone."
Keiko commented in a calm and elegant tone as she brought a glass of wine to her lips. But the fact that she couldn’t help but glance out at the garden every few seconds stripped away any credibility from the beautiful black-haired woman. Nemuri soon added in a calmer voice as she brought a cup of hot tea to her lips.
"Keiko’s right about that. Besides, going would be a waste. Knowing Kai, he’s either no longer there, or when he ’senses’ us approaching, he’ll flee."
"Look at it this way, girls; if we can’t even go one morning without Kai-chan, we’re going to look like intense, crazy women, and that bores men. Several acquaintances of mine ended up single for being too intense." Yumiko added in a calm voice before sipping her tea.
"Why don’t we send him a text message? Worrying is something perfectly natural; he won’t see it as a bad thing." Shino commented in a calm voice as she crossed her sensual legs, exposed by the comfortable dress she was wearing. Hearing Shino, Nejire’s eyes lit up, and she soon announced with her phone in hand.
"I’ll do it!"
"Wait! What are you going to ask him?!" Momo quickly asked in a panic, while Ryuko, Tomoko, and Shino looked at Nejire intensely. Nejire smiled slyly and replied.
"Fufu, I’m just going to ask if we should wait for him for lunch."
"That’s a great question!" Tomoko commented as she raised an arm in the air, while the other girls gave a discreet thumbs-up.
Quickly, Nejire typed on her phone, and after waiting for some time, her phone rang, which led all the girls to look at her as Ryuko asked seriously.
"What did he say?"
"That he’s coming and bringing gifts!" Nejire looked at the others and announced with bright eyes.
Between excited and curious, the girls looked at each other, wondering what it was all about. Luckily, the girls didn’t have to wait long, and soon a sphere of light landed in the garden, which, upon disappearing, released a large quantity of flowers. With wide eyes, the girls looked at the handsome young man with blue eyes and black hair standing in the middle of a small sea of flowers. He was holding 8 different bouquets of flowers and looking at them with a warm smile.
"Flowers, for the most beautiful flowers that exist."
Looking at his surprised girlfriends, Kai dropped one of the cheesiest lines from his arsenal with an unflappable smile. Although no matter how you looked at it, Kai seemed like nothing more than a shameless rogue, the girls felt their hearts melt and their eyes fill with tears, genuinely moved, looking like naive little youngsters deceived by a scoundrel.
But while the girls felt their legs trembling from the unexpected gesture, they all saw a strand of straight black hair fly in front of them. Keiko, like a naive and lovesick teenager, jumped into the arms of her beloved, who let himself fall backwards onto the bed of flowers beneath him. But without worrying about anything, Keiko embraced her beloved’s neck and initiated a passionate kiss, a scene that brought the other girls back to reality.
"I love you with all my soul..." As she separated from Kai, Keiko murmured with clouded eyes. Kai looked back at Keiko and kissed her forehead before commenting in a warm voice.
"I love you more."
"I love you so, so much more!" Nejire’s jealous voice rang out, and soon Kai was wrapped in a mane of blue hair in a passionate kiss. Soon, Kai looked at Nejire and commented with a warm smile.
"I’m sure I love you way more..."
Shino didn’t let Kai finish and, without worrying about anything else, slipped her tongue into her beloved’s mouth to initiate a kiss full of passion. She then commented in a soft voice, but one charged with an almost possessive love.
"You are the love of my life, my everything..."
"You’re all mine, my kitten. I love you..."
Kai replied in a warm voice, embracing his girlfriend’s slender waist, but at that moment Ryuko stole Kai’s lips and kissed him passionately and possessively, then separated and whispered in a heavy voice.
"I love you, darling... I can’t imagine life without you..."
"Nor I without you. I love you..."
Kai responded softly, at which point Tomoko took her fair share of her beloved, then licked her lips and whispered.
"I love you with all my being..."
"I love you, my little kitten." Kai replied before giving Tomoko a tender kiss on the forehead, which made her tremble with pleasure. Tomoko then commented with her eyes almost completely clouded.
"I want us to make a very big family full of babies..."
"I want a few too..." While Kai stopped dead, Shino added in a soft voice and again took Kai’s lips, closely followed by Keiko, who snatched him away to kiss him before commenting in an incredibly low whisper.
"I also want many little siblings for Momo..."
"Let’s make two soccer teams between all of us." Nejire whispered in a steamy voice before kissing Kai, who asked a little worried.
"That many...?"
...
"Are you going to stay here?"
At the back, still standing, Nemuri asked with a playful smile as she looked at Yumiko and Momo, who had conflicted expressions on their faces. The pair of beauties looked at each other and then at the smiling Nemuri, which inevitably led Yumiko to ask.
"And you?"
"I’m simply waiting for my turn. The last turn is always mine." Nemuri commented in a somewhat sensual tone, then licked her lips lustfully.
That answer caused Yumiko and Momo to look at each other before nodding with serious expressions and approaching with nervous steps. But at that moment, Kai looked toward the entrance and whispered with a frown.
"The therapist?"
