Chapter 172: Situation Reversed!

"Lord Ronan Stoneheart, this is bad."

A Purple Profound warrior rushed toward Noah, his face filled with urgency.

"Lord Auron has informed us that the Netherbone Civilization is actually a Breeder Civilization. They ambushed Lady Sally."

Among the Purple Profound people, there were methods of communication.

Earlier, it was Auron who had been relaying the locations of the Fourth-Order monsters to them.

"What did you say?"

Noah showed a shocked expression.

"I said..."

The Purple Profound warrior’s figure suddenly vanished and reappeared right in front of Noah.

At the same instant, a terrifying force erupted from his body, condensing into a black beam that pierced straight through Noah’s chest.

Noah looked down at the dark blade embedded in his heart, disbelief filling his eyes.

His physique exceeded eight hundred thousand. However, he had not specifically cultivated defensive skills, and his Talent did not provide additional defense.

Under such a sudden and powerful attack, his heart was pierced instantly.

His Life Force Field only flickered for a moment before shattering, offering almost no resistance.

"An idiot who only knows brute strength."

The Purple Profound warrior’s form shifted, revealing Draal, his expression filled with disdain.

Immediately, Draal pulled out the dark blade.

Just as he was about to leave, he froze.

Noah stood in the same spot, completely unharmed.

"You actually have a resurrection ability." Draal was shocked.

Despite his surprise, he did not panic.

On Bone Lord Karth’s side, Sally had already been heavily injured.

Although the Daughter of Light was indeed powerful and far stronger than any of them, after being ambushed, she could at most display half of her strength while facing two opponents.

Even preserving her own life was difficult. Supporting Ronan Stoneheart was out of the question.

As for the Purple Profound warriors, they were completely stunned, unable to comprehend what was happening.

With their strength, they were not qualified to participate in a battle of this level.

In other words, Draal only needed to deal with one opponent.

Ronan Stoneheart.

He already knew the strength of this muscle bound brute.

Even without a sneak attack, Draal was confident he could kill him. It would only take a bit more effort.

"If I can kill you once, I can kill you a thousand times."

Draal roared. His figure vanished, and in the next instant, he appeared behind Noah.

The dark blade pierced forward with terrifying force, aimed straight at Noah’s heart.

Draal expected the same result.

"Clang."

A metallic sound rang out.

The blade struck Noah’s body but could not move forward even a fraction.

"This is impossible."

Shock filled Draal’s eyes.

The Shadow Blade was a Perfect grade weapon.

With his skills, passives, and Talent amplifying his attack to the limit, even a Fourth Order expert specializing in defense could be pierced. It could even threaten a Fifth Order.

And yet now...

It could not break through.

"Didn’t expect this, did you?"

Noah lowered his head and looked at him, a simple smile on his face.

In the next moment, a vast blood red aura erupted from Noah’s body. Flames of energy surged upward as his presence rose to an unimaginable level.

Draal felt pure terror.

Without hesitation, he retreated and concealed himself.

A cold smile appeared on Noah’s face.

He threw a punch into the empty air.

"Boom."

The void itself seemed to shatter.

A terrifying force swept across the sky.

In the next instant, a cloud of blood mist exploded into existence.

Along with it fell the dark blade.

Noah moved in a flash and appeared beside the drifting mist.

Without even glancing at what remained of Draal, he picked up the blade, inspected it briefly, and stored it in his inventory.

Then he turned his gaze toward the distant battlefield where Sally and the others were fighting.

Activating his movement technique, Noah vanished instantly.

Noah was not far from Sally and the others to begin with. At full speed, it took him just over twenty seconds to arrive.

By the time he reached the battlefield, the fighting had already stopped.

Sally, Bone Lord Karth, and Vex stood apart, wary of one another, all turning their gaze toward the direction Noah was approaching from.

A streak of blood red light tore through the void and appeared before them. A moment later, a deep roar echoed through the air.

"Yo. You still haven’t finished?"

Noah greeted them casually.

"Ronan Stoneheart."

"How is it you?"

Bone Lord Karth and Vex’s expressions changed at the same time.

It was hard to believe, but after thinking it through, there was no other possibility.

The Fourth Order experts of the Purple Profound Civilization were nearly all dead. The only remaining one, Auron, had already been killed by Vex’s ambush.

As for the others, they were too familiar with them. None could possess such a terrifying aura.

That left only one answer.

Ronan Stoneheart.

But how was this possible?

Bone Lord Karth and Vex exchanged a glance. A bad feeling rose in their hearts.

Things had already slipped beyond their control.

Unlike them, Sally felt both relief and caution.

Having just been severely injured by a sneak attack, she trusted no one.

More importantly, the presence Noah gave off now was completely different from before.

"Where is Draal?" Bone Lord Karth asked sharply.

"You mean the one who disguised himself as a Purple Profound warrior to ambush me?"

A pitch black blade appeared in Noah’s hand.

The moment Bone Lord Karth saw it, his heart sank.

Noah had arrived, but Draal had not.

With the Shadow Blade now in Noah’s possession, there was only one conclusion.

Draal was dead.

Whether he had failed his ambush and been killed in return, or Noah had detected him in advance, no longer mattered.

That man was always the same. High attack, low defense. He either killed instantly or was killed instantly.

"You already know your clansman is dead, yet you don’t rush to avenge him. Are you waiting for something?"

Noah turned his head slightly.

An extremely faint shadow appeared beside him, attempting to slip into his body, but failed.

Not far away, Vex’s figure flickered and vanished like an illusion.
