Bound to the eldritch Sea: SSS-Tier Navigator
Chapter 69: Schemes and Plots
Soon, the whole structure of the Attack Helicopter appeared in Kevin’s mind.
It was quickly taken apart, broken down, and returned to the smallest atoms, then merged into Kevin’s mechanical kingdom and became the most basic production material.
The whole process took less than five minutes.
This was a new skill Kevin had gained after developing his "Mechanical Sovereign" Talent.
Any machine, once Kevin had its 1:1 scale blueprint, could be easily scanned by him and broken down into raw materials.
In this way, all the machines Kevin made could be recycled.
Next, Kevin continued to break down the Military Armored Vehicle.
With the added materials from the two machines, Kevin checked the production line of his mechanical kingdom again.
"Counting the materials I left in the system backpack, I can now make at least five hundred new drones." As Kevin calculated, he adjusted the drone blueprint again.
This was another ability of his "Mechanical Sovereign." As long as he had mastered the blueprint, whether it was a weapon, an engine, a chip processor, or an outer structure, they could all be mixed and matched.
Kevin even found that the blueprints scanned by his "Mechanical Sovereign" Talent could be scaled down in the same ratio, lowering the need for raw materials.
It was because of these two discoveries that Kevin had made thirty new drones equipped with mini Vulcan Cannons.
Although an Attack Helicopter and a Military Armored Vehicle were very valuable,
trading them for five hundred drones equipped with mini Vulcan Cannons was still worth it.
What? The mini Vulcan Cannons were not powerful enough? Did you think Kevin’s big Fireball Enchant was just for show?
With the support of the "Enchant" Talent, the size and weight of the ammo were no longer a problem.
So for Kevin, the only thing limiting the damage he could create was the number of combat units.
Because of that, Kevin called over Celula and Monchhichi and had them contact Raphael directly to trade supplies.
When Raphael saw the weapon list Celula sent, she was completely stunned. "How many of these weapons can you provide? Glock Pistols, Grenades, and RPG Launchers—we need them all."
Seeing Raphael’s urgent message, Celula grinned and replied, "These weapons can’t be given away for free. There’s a price."
Raphael nodded when she saw that. "That’s only right. What do you need in exchange? Name your price. As long as we have it, we can trade it with you."
Celula quickly sent over a trade list, packed full of all kinds of basic raw materials like resin, rubber, copper blocks, and gunpowder.
When Raphael saw it, she froze on the spot. "Your price is way too high. One Glock Pistol for five kilograms of iron blocks, five kilograms of resin, and one kilogram of gunpowder? That’s enough to make twenty Pistols of the same model!"
Celula smiled and replied, "If you have a way to turn that waste into Pistols and Bullets, you can refuse this deal."
Raphael’s face darkened, and she sighed. "Celula, at this price, even if we add up all the raw materials everyone has, we still can’t trade for many Pistols. This is meaningless. We have eighteen ships!"
When Monchhichi saw Raphael starting to lose her cool, she sighed softly. "Her mindset has collapsed. We can offer a low price now."
With an excited look on her face, Celula sent a new offer. "Then trade with your ships."
"Trade with our ships?" When Raphael saw this request, her brain went blank. "What do you want ships for?"
Raphael always felt there was some plot behind this deal, but she just could not figure it out.
Could it be that their Two-Masted Sloop had sunk, and they wanted to trade for a new ship?
That had to be it!
Thinking of this, Raphael steadied herself and replied openly, "As long as you give each of us two Pistols, one RPG Launcher, and enough ammo, you can pick any of the eighteen ships we have here!"
Celula grinned. "Raphael, we can provide the weapons you want, but one ship is not enough."
"Not enough?" Raphael froze for a moment, then asked in confusion, "Then how many do you want?"
Celula sent a new message right away. "Nine ships. And the ocean fishing vessel in your fleet, along with that medium-sized Ro-Ro ship with a steam engine, must be traded to us. You can decide the other seven."
Inside the cockpit of the ocean fishing vessel, Raphael smashed the teacup on the table with one hard slap. "They’ve gone too far! They even want to rob us of our ships!"
Toti stood beside her, frowning hard. "What do they need so many advanced ships for? Out of our eighteen ships, most of them are wind-powered sailboats."
Raphael took a deep breath, thought for a long while, and muttered, "Looks like their real goal is to trade for our ships. Celula’s negotiation skills are too polished. There must be someone with a bigger background hiding behind her."
At this point, Raphael replied to Celula, "We can give you nine ships, but I have one demand. When we reach the destination, we must resist the storm and the monsters together, and you must be the main force."
Celula agreed without the slightest hesitation.
Seeing this, Raphael felt even more confused. "Celula doesn’t seem nervous about that terrible storm and those monsters. Could their combat power already be that strong?"
Toti tore off a mouthful of Ocular Barnacle flesh and said angrily, "Who cares? I want to see what kind of ability they have to act as the main force for this mission."
Raphael rolled her eyes and sighed. "You should think about how to convince the other captains to hand over their ships first."
Soon, Raphael gathered the other captains together and told everyone Celula’s demands.
This time, the captains all fell silent.
About three minutes passed.
A sexy captain named Valentina shook her fit, long calves and kept shaking her head with a sigh. "Those mysterious women really gave us a hard problem."
Beside her, Captain Richard in a white robe shook his big beard and took a deep pull from his hookah. "This is robbery! In the past, selling any one ship here could get us the heavy gear of an entire counter-terror unit."
"Cough, cough. Damn fatty, what kind of smoke is that? It’s choking me!" Captain Robin coughed while moving away from Richard.
Captain Ilone, who was traveling with Captain Robin, also took a few steps back and frowned. "Now that the Eldritch has descended, we have no choice. Besides, Captain Robin and I have already decided to merge our fleets. There’s no use for us to keep two ships, so we might as well trade one for weapons."
Old Captain Oliver, who had been silent the whole time, walked to the center of the crowd and said in a deep voice, "Everyone, the key issue is not whether the trade is fair or not. It is whether those women have the ability to become the main force against this disaster."
Hearing this, the captains all rolled their eyes.
Richard spat and cursed, "Oliver, have you got dementia or what? Those bitches are clearly trying to scam us out of our ship. Do you really believe they have the strength to fight those monsters?"
Valentina, who was standing nearby, nodded and frowned. "It’s not like we haven’t seen those monsters before. Just the part of the tail that showed up was bigger than our ship."
"If we run into one, unless dozens of us carry rocket launchers and take turns blasting it, there’s no way those three women alone can stop a monster that size."
Captain Robin also agreed. "I also think they don’t have the strength to fight the monsters in the Black Curtain on their own. But since they agreed to take the main role, we might as well let them be our cannon fodder."
Elowen nodded. "That’s right. Let them stand in front for us. If things go bad, we can run away at the first moment. Even if they manage to defeat that monster, they’ll probably be badly weakened. When that time comes..."
At this point, Richard’s eyes lit up. "Good idea! Let’s agree to those bitches first. After we’re done using them, we’ll take the ship back, and grab all their weapons and gear too."
"If those three bitches are pretty, heh heh heh..."
Richard’s laugh was extremely filthy.
Valentina, Elowen, and the other female captains nearby all took a few steps back, staring at him with faces full of disgust.
Richard felt the hostility from the female captains around him and snorted coldly. "What? Don’t tell me none of you have dirty thoughts! I never said I was a good man. At least when I’m bad, I’m bad out in the open."
At this point, Richard glared at Captain Derek, who had been silent the whole time. "I’m not like some people, acting like they don’t care about anything on the surface, while secretly stealing other people’s women and resources behind their backs."
Derek glared back at Richard. "Richard, you got four women on your ship pregnant, then forced them to abort the babies. I saved those girls in the name of the Lord. I was reducing your sins."
Richard pulled the long knife from his waist and pointed it hard at Derek. "So you took off your pants to save them? Don’t let me get the chance, or I’ll be the first to kill you!"
Raphael listened to the captains arguing, and her mouth had not closed the entire time. She had not expected these captains to have such a messy history between them.
"Everyone, I’m not interested in the grudges between you," Raphael said, taking the lead to interrupt them.
Then she opened the supply list Celula had sent and said in a low voice, "Now, vote. Raise your hand if you agree to join the trade."
"Let me make this clear first. Since we are an alliance, no one is allowed to stab anyone in the back. Otherwise, everyone has the right to wipe out the traitor."
The captains looked at one another, and no one wanted to make a rash decision.
Suddenly, Richard was the first to raise his right hand. He snorted coldly and said, "If someone is giving away weapons for free, why wouldn’t I take them? Do you really think those three women can make any big waves?"
"No matter how many weapons they have, they still need people to operate them!"
Derek, who was beside him, also raised his hand and nodded. "They just went through a hard battle. To defeat the King of Mist Phantom, they used up countless drones and Grenades, and even had one ship sunk."
"I also think they don’t deserve to hold that many advanced weapons right now."
Captain Oliver slowly raised his hand, but his words were full of worry. "But the problem is, there should be more than three of them. You should know that the new first and second place on the battle record ranking are both on their team. If you want to plot against them behind their backs, don’t drag me into it."
