’Is the creator of this trial trying to show me her own story through this trial?... This is quite a lame way to introduce yourself to others...’

Zephyr waited for a while longer, but no new image appeared, and the mining cart just kept going forward without any new changes happening in the tunnel for a while.

Realizing that the story was over, Zephyr could only sigh in disappointment.

"You only showed me three pictures of your past and want me to guess the entirety of your story through it?"

"Sigh, what a pain in the a*s..."

The story of Layla Jauregia, who was being called a ’Hero’ by that stupid bird, seemed quite simple from the paintings.

She was born in an isolated town located far away from the eyes of the rest of the world.

Her mother likely died in childbirth, her father was nowhere to be seen in the story, and her grandmother, the old lady, likely raised her on her own.

From the moment of birth, Layla was already extraordinary, as she seemed like she was shining like a divine child under the moonlight.

Perhaps that shining aura of hers also depicted how talented she was from the very moment she was born.

And her being shown to have defeated a dragon while being young likely showed that she went on to become so strong that she could defeat dragons before she even became a fully grown adult!

The three images looked straightforward and pretty easy to interpret, but there was one thing that stood out among them, and that was the ’K’-shaped star constellation that was present in all three images.

"What does that ’K’ shaped star constellation is trying to show...?"

"Ugh, now I wish I could have paid more attention to astronomy; that way at least I wouldn’t have had to be completely clueless like now... sigh..."

With no other hope of finding a clue, Zephyr had no other choice but to cast his eyes on the comment section for help.

Zephyr’s situation was bound to attract the interest of some astronomer sooner or later, and just as Zephyr expected, a useful comment finally appeared in the comment section pretty soon!

But of course, this is a horror game world we are talking about; we might not be correct and this constellation might mean something else in this game world...]

Zephyr read the two comments of this particular viewer very carefully, but even after reading them all, he still couldn’t relate them to the story of Layla Jauregia.

’Was she supposed to represent Theseus from the myth? Or was she something completely different...’

’It’s weird how many times I have encountered the constellation after coming to this world... almost as if... it’s been guiding me all along towards something...’

Zephyr had negative luck, and he had no way to guess fate or even influence it with his meager powers, but one thing was for sure, he had to get to the bottom of this matter, or it would keep affecting his life.

’I don’t have a good feeling about all this... but I feel like I am starting to get closer and closer to seeing a corner of the big picture of the plans that this horror game is hiding...’

This mystery of the star constellation brought him a thrill of adventure that he had never felt before in his dull and boring life as a mere chef of a random café!

Instead of becoming nervous and panicked after finding out about the mysteries of this world like he would have been before, Zephyr was now excited and eager to find answers.

Without realizing it himself, he had started to adapt to this world of chaos.
