Building Interstellar Empire With Universal Synthesis
Chapter 139: Void Executioner
Despite the demse killing intent, Neo was devoid of panic.
"Who are you?"
"I’m an assassin, silly," she replied with an amused cheeky smile forming beneath her dark mask.
"Then you should know what happens when an assassin fails to kill on their first strike, right?"
Neo slowly stood up from the bed. As he rose, the suffocating pressure of his Type 5 Ascender aura spread naturally throughout the room, causing the very air to vibrate.
The Arcane Assassin, known as Vesper, wasn’t intimidated in the slightest.
"I know." She pulled back her glowing dagger with absolute calm. "But there isn’t a single person born who can catch me!"
Her body was already beginning to dissolve into violet mist.
Even though she sounded incredibly arrogant, Neo could sense the terrifying spatial fluctuations rippling around her body.
She was not bluffing.
She had just bypassed his newly constructed two-layer planetary shield, slipped completely unnoticed past one hundred thousand elite Beyonders and his own heavily guarded palace walls.
Her confidence in her escape arts was well-earned.
But she had made one fatal miscalculation.
She was trying to manipulate spatial magic directly in front of someone who possessed the Infinite Void-Shield Body.
As Vesper fully dissolved into the arcane void, grinning victoriously as she prepared to leap through a spatial rift, Neo’s void-like eyes flashed with a cold silver light.
He simply raised his hand and violently clenched his fist.
CRACK!
The surrounding space literally shattered like fragile glass.
Vesper’s spatial rift instantly collapsed, spitting a very surprised Vesper right back before him
"What?! You locked down the spatial dimension?!"
Vesper’s purple eyes were blown wide in absolute horror because her flawless escape route vanished into thin air.
Before she could even process what had just happened, Neo moved.
Woosh!
Fueled by his monstrous 820 Agility stat, he was nothing more than an imperceptible blur.
In a mere fraction of a second, Neo closed the distance.
His large, incredibly strong hand clamped firmly around her slender throat, lifting her effortlessly off the ground and pinning her against the reinforced stone wall.
Clang.
The Arcane Dagger clattered uselessly to the floor.
His handsome face stood right before her gleaming purple eyes.
"You are elusive, I will give you that..But in my domain, the void itself bows to my command."
His grip around her throat tightened. He could snap her neck with the slightest twist.
For the first time in years, Vesper remembered the true, suffocating fear of death.
"Now, you are going to tell me exactly who is rich enough to send an arcane ghost into my bedroom," Neo warned. "Or else, death will be the kindest mercy I can offer. I will break you so thoroughly that you will regret ever being born."
His voice was a chilling whisper, echoing with the weight of a primordial horror.
"Cough... the... Rothschilds," she finally spat out, choking on the words with great difficulty.
Only then did Neo release his iron grip, effortlessly tossing her onto the cold marble floor like a discarded ragdoll.
He slowly looked up. His dark eyes seemed to pierce straight through the grand ceiling and past the planetary atmosphere, gazing into the endless sea of stars beyond.
"The Rothschilds... It seems it is time they learned a very painful lesson."
Turning his attention back to the gasping Arcane Assassin, Neo crouched down and effortlessly pulled away her dark mask.
It revealed a strikingly beautiful, delicate face. But it was marred by brutal scars that told a agonizing story of her past.
"What is your name?" he asked again, his tone completely indifferent to her scars.
Trembling slightly beneath his absolute, domineering gaze, she whispered, "Vesper."
Neo nodded slowly.
"Vesper. You may possess great mastery over spatial manipulation, but you are still weak. However... I can make you strong."
Despite her terror, a spark of fanatical fervor ignited in her purple eyes.
"How strong are we talking about?"
"Strong enough to make you an invincible killing machine. But there is one condition..."
He dragged the silence out deliberately, testing her patience and her hunger.
"Speak! I want that power!"
He took her right hand, saying: "You will become my personal shadow. You cannot ever betray me, nor can you ever act against my wishes."
"Like a sex slave?"
Her face was bright red.
"No, Like a blade." He denied coldly
Instantly, Vesper’s eyes shone with fanatical devotion, as if she were staring directly at her god.
"Then I agree. I will do anything for your power," she declared.
"Good. The journey ahead of us is going to be far more thrilling." 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
With that, Neo opemed his upgraded spatial ring, pouring out literal mountain of priceless, ultra-rare resources.
Such as S-Grade Mana Stones, massive chunks of Dark Adamantite, glowing Void Stones, and raw Ether Granite.
Tons of them.
Vesper stared, completely mesmerized by the impossible wealth of cosmic materials. But how exactly was he going to make her stronger with a pile of rocks and metals?
He isn’t planning to force-feed all of this into my body, right? she thought nervously.
"Exactly. Your guess is correct," Neo stated suddenly, reading her panicked thoughts like an open book.
"You are going to be reborn within. Brace yourself!!"
[ Universal Synthesis — Activate. ]
Vesper didn’t even have time to scream before her world dissolved into pure agony.
This was not a gentle empowerment at all.
It was a fundamental atomic deconstruction.
Under the supreme authority of Universal Synthesis, the fundamental laws governing Vesper’s biology and her Arcane magic were violently dismantled.
She felt her skin liquefy, her muscles unravel like old twine, and her bones shatter into dust.
Yet, through Neo’s terrifying control, she did not die. Her consciousness was held suspended in a void of white-hot pain, forced to witness her own annihilation.
Then, the synthesis began.
The vaporized S-Grade Mana Stones rushed into her dissolving magical core.
Next came the Dark Adamantite. The indestructible cosmic metal fused with her bones.
Simultaneously, the Void Stones and Ether Granite melted into her inherent spatial magic.
Her previous ability to manipulate space was like a child throwing stones compared to this.
The void recognized and accepted her.
She was becoming the existence who soon to be known as Void Executioner.
