Building Interstellar Empire With Universal Synthesis
Chapter 89: The Elven Star System
The fifteen days passed in a blur of motion.
But Neo didn’t waste a single moment.
Every second, every hour was spent improving his battle skills and increasing his energy reserves using Mana stones.
Covered in sweat and perspiration, Neo glanced at his status screen with grinning satisfaction.

The improvement was solid. His cosmic force received the biggest boost.
But it also couldn’t be ignored that his other stats were also good, especially since they were the result of hard physical training.
As he stood in front of a tall mirror, the improvement was visible on his physique. He had gained a six-pack and a sharp, chiseled jawline. No amount of fat could be seen on his face.
Just as he was gazing at his own self-reflection, a blaring alarm rang across the ship.
[ Alert! We have arrived at the Eleven Star System ]
[ Unknown communication signal received ]
[ "Master, you should come to the main deck immediately." ]
Ghost’s last words made it clear that the situation was serious.
Without wasting time, he headed to the main deck where he usually sat in the command bridge. Seating himself on the throne, he glanced at the star system several thousand kilometers away. For an ordinary person, seeing through that much distance is impossible, but he could see clearly due to his Spirit Eyes.
And the Eleven Star System was mind-blowing, to say the least. It was a Type II civilization, after all. They had learned to tame the stars.
From his viewpoint, he saw how they captured every star with colossal, runic megastructures. It was a breathtaking fusion of supreme technology and ancient magic.
Massive Dyson rings, forged from an alloy of glowing spirit-metal and dark adamantite, slowly orbited the burning suns. These mechanical rings were entirely covered in planetary-scale magic circles. They actively devoured raw solar plasma, instantly converting the nuclear fire into pure, condensed cosmic mana.
This boundless energy flowed through the dark void like shimmering rivers of golden light, directly feeding the beating heart of the system.
The main planet was a true masterpiece of a Type II civilization.
It sat proudly at the center of the energy web, like a massive vibrant jewel of emerald green and deep sapphire blue. Even from thousands of kilometers away, Neo’s Spirit Eyes could pierce through the atmospheric layers to witness the absolute peak of a Magitech society.
The globe was encircled by artificial orbital rings woven from a blend of metallic vines and crystalline steel.
Around the orbit, heavy duty Titan class warships were common as satellites. They were docked flawlessly alongside enormous, armor-plated cosmic beasts.
Down on the surface, the natural world and industrial progress were completely intertwined.
Towering green cities pierced the clouds. These towering skyscrapers were not built from traditional concrete or steel. Instead, they were grown from ancient, monolithic trees that had been hollowed out and heavily augmented with glowing neon circuits, glass observation decks, and anti-gravity propulsion engines.
The floating continents were connected by vast highways of hard-light. On these glowing roads, high-speed levitating vehicles shared the airways directly with skilled warriors riding flying swords and majestic winged creatures.
The entire planet was protected by a shimmering, hexagonal planetary shield. Every single rune of the defensive shield was a complex, self-sustaining spell matrix, powered endlessly by the tamed stars above.
[ "Master, we are being directly hailed by the orbital border patrol. They are demanding our identification and our purpose for entering the Elven Star System."]
"Alright. Open the communication channel, Ghost," Neo ordered, leaning back lazily into his command throne.
The main monitor projected of a stern Elven official materialized in the center of the bridge. He wore a high-collared corporate military uniform, his long pointed ears poking through a helmet made of glowing spirit-metal.
"Unidentified Titan Class vessel. You have entered the restricted orbital zones of the Elven Star System.
State your identity and your primary purpose of visit. Failure to comply will result in immediate defensive measures." the official warned.
Neo adjusted his posture, effortlessly adopting the arrogant aura of a spoiled young master.
"I am Draven Garfield, the sole heir of Garfield Corporation in Nexus Star System. As for my purpose, consider it a shopping trip."
The names were not random. He already planned to vhoose a fake persona to enter.
Still, the official frowned deeply. "A shopping trip? In a Titan Class warship?"
"I am a man of immense wealth and very specific tastes," Neo replied with a confident smirk. "I am looking to expand my private army. Word reached my sector that the Elven Star System boasts the finest combat slaves and elite indentured warriors in the galaxy. I came here to purchase your absolute best."
The Elven official narrowed his eyes, but his hands were moving below the camera feed. He was clearly running a rapid background check using the universal mercantile network.
After a tense moment, the official looked back up. His stern expression had softened into a calculating, greedy smile.
"We apologize for the harsh reception, Young Master Garfield. The grand slave markets of the lower commercial rings will gladly welcome your patronage."
"See that they do," Neo stated coldly.
"Transmitting your entry gateway now. Please proceed directly to the Aethelgard Spaceport. Do not deviate from the assigned flight path. Enjoy your stay."
The holographic feed cut off, leaving the bridge quiet once more.
Neo smiled faintly.
The first step of his infiltration was a complete success.
