That particular obstacle would be significantly harder to bypass. Getting the Prison codes had been one thing.

But obtaining Nyx’s thumbprint was another matter entirely. Still that didn’t mean it was impossible. He just had to come up with a plan.

Hmm... Alex hummed while rubbing his chin thoughtfully. Eventually, however, he pushed that matter aside for now.

There was no point obsessing over it today, he would find a way to get it tomorrow or the next. Besides, there were much more immediate concerning things, like getting stronger.

And not just any kind of stronger, but much stronger. After all, the enemies appearing around him were becoming increasingly dangerous.

Sigh. He remembered when his life used to be so peaceful and normal. Well that was before he found out that the Bitch, Emily was cheating on him of course.

Now that he was back in the states, the Kade family issue was his number one concern for now. They were a big problem that was difficult to ignore.

Then another name entered his mind. It was Jade.

Alex let out a slow breath. He really needed to sleep with her, copy her power and gain what he also truly needed among anything. Desire Energy!

Unfortunately, just only thinking about it wasn’t going to solve anything. So with a small sigh, Alex pushed himself off the bed and stretched his arms above his head.

Since sleep didn’t look like it was coming anytime soon, and lying around staring at the ceiling would accomplish absolutely nothing, Alex decided he might as well seek out Jade tonight.

He slipped on a simple black t-shirt and loose comfy pants, and stepped out of the room into the hallway.

Alex then began wandering through the massive mansion, and first of all checked the insanely large library filled with different books of all genres, since he knew Jade as someone who liked to read different kinds of books in her free time. But it was empty.

Then he went to the indoor lounge but it was also empty. Even the balcony overlooking the gardens showed no sign of the woman he was looking for.

Alex scratched the side of his head, and muttered under his breath.

"Where the hell is she by this time?"

Minutes stretched into what felt like half an hour as he searched wing after wing.

A minute later, after moving through another section of the mansion, he was just about ready to give up, and call it a night, when he suddenly heard a very faint, rhythmic sound coming from the lower wing of the building.

Closing his eyes to concentrate more on the sound, he noticed that the noise sounded like something solid was hitting what felt like a wall.

Intrigued, Alex decided to check it out, since there was a chance that it could be Jade. As he drew closer to the source of the faint sound, he noticed it was coming from a room with the door tag; training room.

Pushing the heavy double doors slowly, he finally spotted the familiar figure he had been looking for all this while.

Jade was inside the spacious training room filled with weights and other training gear that an ordinary human could never dream of using. For example, one of the weights looked like it was at least five tons heavy and that was the lowest amount of weights. So it was clear that this room was created entirely for Awakeneds to train.

Jade was inside, practicing entirely by herself with a focused gaze. It looked like she was working really hard to improve her physical combat skills without using her two special abilities.

She had changed from her earlier dress to a fitted black tank top that clung to her sweat glistened pale skin, highlighting the tender yet toned muscles of her shoulders and the less than subtle curve of her ample melons that bounced with every precise movement.

A black cargo pants hugged her curvy hips and thick meaty thighs, before being tucked into sturdy combat boots that planted firmly on the floor with each shift in stance.

Her long dark brown hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail, with one or two loose strands that framed her enchantingly beautiful face, which bore this kind of focus intensity of someone pushing her limits.

Sweat beaded on her smooth forehead and trailed down her neck, before disappearing into the deep valley between her collarbones.

The room itself that looked like it was made out of a special material was riddled with small spiderweb cracks the size of a fist, and faint dents.

Alex paused in the doorway, his gaze tracing her form appreciatively. The way her tank top rode up slightly with a high kick, revealing a silver of smooth skin, that sent a spark of heat through him.

Her curves were just marvelous. They were athletic but at the same time feminine. Looking at her felt like someone had sculpted a beautiful woman with the perfect copy and then breathed life into it.

Jade, even though she wasn’t on the same level as Nyx, wasn’t that far off. She was like the epitome of beauty: untouchable, beautiful to an absurd degree, distant, and radiating quiet strength even as she trained alone to perfect her moves without relying on her abilities.

He admired how her muscles flexed and released, and the controlled power in each strike. For a minute or two, he just simply watched her gracefully yet powerful movements with fascination.

’Snap out of it,’ he told himself, shaking his head slightly.

This was the perfect opportunity with only the two of them here alone, while everyone else were in their rooms either sleeping or doing whatever God knows what.

With a quick thought, Alex activated the Aura Of Seduction to help him, and watched as a familiar translucent status screen displaying Jade’s info appeared right before his eyes, only visible to him and no one else.

He just couldn’t help the suspicion brewing in his mind, but decided to let it be since he didn’t exactly have all the time in the world to conquer Jade.

So pushing the door fully open, Alex stepped inside the training room. The sound of the door closing caused Jade’s movements to halt mid combo, and her ocean blue eyes to snap toward his direction.

She straightened, wiping sweat from her brow with the back of her hand, with her busty chest rising and falling steadily from the intense training.

"What are you doing here, Alex?" She asked calmly, with curiosity laced in her pretty eyes.

Alex shrugged casually, offering a small smile as he rolled his shoulders.

"I couldn’t really sleep. So I figured I’d come down and train a bit to clear my head."

Jade looked at him for a second longer than necessary and then nodded her head. She accepted his reason without thinking twice. And just as she turned around to continue practicing her fighting moves, Alex spoke up again.

"Hey, what about if we, you know, train together? Like a small training spar. It could be good for both of us." Alex suggested with a friendly grin.

Jade stopped and turned back to face him fully. She looked at him calmly and raised an eyebrow.

"Have you forgotten that you are a Vanguard Realm Awakened, and I’m still in the Early Realm? A spar between us would not be very fair."

Alex simply chuckled and waved his hand.

"Don’t worry about that. I will lower my strength and speed down to match with yours. So what do you say?"

Jade stayed quiet for a few moments, thinking about it. She knew that the absolute best form of improving someone’s combat strength and skills was to fight against a much stronger opponent who could easily spot their mistakes. After a short silence, she finally agreed.

"Fine," Jade said, her voice completely firm, while at the same time narrowing her eyes at him. "I agree, but do not lower anything, Alex. I want to spar with you as you are. So make sure you don’t hold back."
