CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror
Chapter 354: Masochistic Queen
Erin frowned. She looked Selina up and down.
Selina and Mater had returned to the frontline. Mater had turned back into a cat and lay on Selina’s thighs. She stroked him lovingly.
Erin swore there was something different about them. But she didn’t know what.
’Am I imagining thing?’
"What did you do?" Erin said.
Selina avoided her yes, "I don’t know what you’re talking about."
"You definitely did something! Tell me!" Erin jumped at her side.
"Well. We did do something." The black cat grinned widely.
Selina held his snout close. "We were only taking a walk. That’s all."
"Oh... Invite me next time! I want to go on a walk too!" Erin said.
The black cat escaped Selina’s grasp, "Definitely! I invite you to join us next time! The more the merrier!"
The image showed up in Selina’s mind and she couldn’t help but release smoke out of her head by how embarrass she was.
The war continued.
With the lost of Naseem’s legion, The Sun Court had finally decided to go all in. A large legion was heading their ways. Ten thousands Fae and ten Rank-3 Generals.
This legion was already too large for them to handle. Telara sent her own army as well and held Cristina’s force at the new border that they just took.
As for Mater and the Psychic army, he led them back to their base of operation, the Dark Palace.
The Dark Palace was purely a new structure Mater conducted in the Floor of Darkness. The Psychic Army entered the Steam Town and stayed there.
There was more than enough rooms for them.
"Damn... Lord Warlock is a god. He can even create a world of his own."
"Nah. It’s only a pocket dimension. It is still impressive but not to the extent of a world."
"What have you been doing lately?"
"Eh. Training, trading. I’m also seeing a very beautiful Fae back in the Moon Court. She’s a Fox girl!" 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
The Psychics quickly grew familiar with their new home.
The Floor of Darkness was huge. It had three moons and a giant tree that connected the sky and the earth.
There was no day time though. But the Psychics didn’t see that as a disadvantage. The all-night status made the town more mysterious, more align with the theme of this dark town.
They felt like they were staying in some sort of demon’s houses and becoming his underlings. It was a fun experience for them to the least.
In this time, Mater tried to figure out how to turn the ghost of the fallen Psychics into Wraiths.
He had tried to use many Chaos Rituals, but none could complete the conversion.
These people died in battle. They were fulfilled. They even wanted to come back to fight some more.
Because of that, they had no issue in their past lives and wouldn’t turn into a wraiths.
’Wraith is not the answer... What if I turn them into something else?’
There were a few types of Specter that Mater knew of. Wraith, the usual one. Phantom, the mental one. Revenant, the ruthless one.
_’Revenant? These things don’t actually need a reason to be birthed. As long as the caster knows how to do the ritual, revenants could be born. It was similar to what happened in the Confederation.
Revenant also made them more bloodlust and raised their over attacking damage. Let me try if this one work.’_
Mater reconsidered his approach and now switched to making a revenant instead.
The problem with revenant was that he needed bodies for them to occupy. Usually it would be their own corpses. But the Psychics had no body in this scenario. Because their bodies were fake and constructed by the Hymn of Battlefield.
He already knew how to solve this issue and he went straight to Telara.
At the Moon Palace, the Blood Warlock approached Telara’s room.
Her Royal Guards stopped him.
"Queen Telara is not presented at the moment." A guard said.
Mater raised an eyebrow, "I can sense her energy."
"She is sick." The other guard said.
"I can also sense that she’s healthy."
The guards sweated.
"She’s... Um... She’s busy..." The guard had no other excuses.
One guard approached him closely and whispered, "Please don’t make it difficult for us, Lord Warlock. We can’t let you pass through. She would behead us all."
"She won’t behead you."
"Yeah, you right. But we will get fired for sure. This job pays really well."
"No worry, brother. Let me handle that." Mater smiled mischievously. He took one step back.
"Telara. Remember that burning paper? I recorded every thing that happened that day. I will..."
"STOP! COME!" Telara’s voice spread throughout the palace. She sounded angry.
"See, boys. Now, excuse me."
Mater went through the Royal Guards and entered Telara’s room. She stood there, stared at him with the gaze of a jealous lover.
"How dare you tell them about what happened? I will have your head!"
Telara stomped on the floor with her feet. She looked like a sulking child.
The dark-haired man approached her with a deep smile. "I need your help on creating more bodies for the Psychics."
"Get out. I’m not helping you doing anything!"
The man grinned wider, "I still have the recordings."
"YOU?! HOW DARE YOU! DO YOU HAVE NO HONOR?" Telara shrieked.
"You should know. I never have any honor." Mater tilted his head slightly. His eyes gazed deep within her.
He knew her well. And he knew this angry facade she constructed could be broken at any moment.
"I will not accept this disrespect. I..."
"Kneel." Mater said.
"What? What do you..." Telara widened her eyes.
"I said ’Kneel’. Do you hear? Or do you need me to yell at you?"
"You... You can’t..." Telara breathed heavily. She couldn’t stop herself. Her legs trembled uncontrollably. That thing within her was screaming to get out. "You can’t disrespect a queen..."
Mater grabbed her hair just hard enough to make her moan. Her legs turned to noodle as she fell on her knees.
"Fuck..." Telara whispered.
"You think you’re a queen, Telara?" Mater grinned widen.
Telara nodded.
"No, you don’t. Do you know what you are?"
"What am I?" Telara’s wide eyes looked Mater up from below. She looked so harmless and fragile like she wasn’t the queen in a magical world.
"You’re my little obedient slut."
