CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror
Chapter 386: Chaos Realm
The entire remote island pulsed. The remaining power, the energy that the Gods had been collecting for many years poured from the temple into the Dark Grimoire.
The black cat did two things through one process. He’s modifying Prison within the Pages to Rank-3 and at the same time, embedded his power onto this temple and this island.
The Ankh on the ground pulsed greatly. It’s slowly disintegrating away. In its place was a giant large Octagram, the symbol of Mater and his power.
"Come on, people! Let’s go! Let’s go!"
Selina and the servants were evacuating the students off the islands. They arrived at the AE Forges through the portal that Mater made previously.
They needed to get off of the Prison so that the spell could be changed.
The Illuminati members acted quickly and everyone was out before the Prison started changing.
"I wonder what Lord Warlock is doing." An Illuminati member said. "I hope he didn’t change my apartment."
"Is he creating a new floor? I was just getting used to the cold climate in the Ice Floor."
"I want to see how our city turn out so bad!"
Mater kept the Steam City intact. He created two more cities in each of the original floors.
A Medieval City in the Glacial Floor. A Marble City in the Infernal Floor.
As for the new Psycho Floor, the beginning city would be the Digital City, a reflection of Aeliz City. It would act as a starter town for the Psychics. Within that Digital City, there would be the Colosseum District where violence was celebrated. The Dream Streets for the Dream District where lust and envy were kings. The Dystopian District to instill fear, despair, and sorrow. All were designed for the Psychics to raise their power as quickly as possible.
Mater, of course, wouldn’t manipulate his subjects. He would tell them exactly why these places existed and they would choose the best path for them. Once they knew their way around, they could enter the higher realms, Infernal, Glacial, or Abyssal.
The black cat finished sketched the new floor. He was rather please with himself.
"Damn. I can be quite a painter sometimes."
But there was more to be done. The Psycho Floor was only a new floor for the Psychics.
Mater continued to sketch the second new floor. This place was designed to reflect the Everlasting Wilds. Everything was filled with the lush green color of tree. The water was deep blue and clear. The trees sang, the sea danced. A perfect place for Sparrow, Evelynn, and Erin to share their Shrines and powers.
Mater named this floor the Natural Floor.
"This one is quite easy. I just need to copy the structure of the Everlasting Wilds."
The Prison changed again and it grew larger. The Octagram on the ground pulsed greatly, consuming all the power the Gods had been saving up.
The nameless God from before had recovered. But still, they could feel their hard-earned sacrificial power was being drawn away.
"You damn anarch! I will... I will have my revenge!"
The nameless God whispered. But one might wonder if they actually meant it. After all, they couldn’t get the last few months of endlessly being ridden out of their mind.
"The Natural Floor is finished. One more floor. This floor is smaller. It doesn’t need to be big. This will be the highest realm that govern and collect the Chaos of all the other floors. This is the Chaos Floor."
Mater sketched the final floor. The entire remote island was wrapped within a thick red Chaos. Mater didn’t just rob the temple. He was robbing the entire island.
The temple was built into the island. Their intricate ritualistic matrix ran through the dirt and the stone. Removing the temple would require Mater a lot of effort to attach it to another place.
He didn’t need to do that. The black cat robbed the entire island instead.
He made a few adjustments however.
Mater removed all remnants of the actual island and turned it into a large floating stone platform. The small temple in the middle became the main structure. Many more buildings emerged.
The island became a large complicated structure of Chaos Ceremony. This island shall floated on top of every floor and the residents of the Chaos Realm could access it from any where and see its grand appearance.
"Psycho Floor. Natural Floor. Chaos Floor. I still have enough room to make more floor. But I don’t need to do it at the moment. I will keep the remaining energy as the fuel for this world to circulate and maybe use it for other floors later if I need it."
Mater ended it the process. The remote island disappeared completely.
The black cat was now inside the Dark Grimoire, looking at his new creation.
A dark neon city glowed in the night in the Psycho Floor. A never-ending forest and vast blue sea in the Natural Floor. A floating stone island on top of every floor, leading to the same Chaos Realm.
The black cat dusted his paws.
"Look good. And now. I should finish my advancement as well."
Xirak gave him a Rank-4 Chaos Singularity. He scammed Rumius of two Rank-4 Chaos Singularities also.
Mater had enough to reach Rank-4. And now, with the power of the Chaos Temple, it would assist him advancing and acquiring even more power.
’I have done with my renovation. Come and see the new Chaos Realm.’ Mater connected to the imaginary chat room.
Rowan was documenting the surviving students and helped arranging them. These students knew about Selina and the Illuminati. The Illuminati temporary held them before deciding what they would do to them.
Suddenly, Selina and the servants rushed to the portal.
"Huh?" Rowan raised an eyebrow.
"The renovation is completed!" An Illuminati member shouted.
The Psychics rushed to the Chaos Realm to see their new home.
Rowan and a few Psychics had to stay behind to deal with the Institute students.
"Aw, come on! Why do I have to work?!" Rowan stomped his feet in frustration. But he made peace with it quickly.
He could go see the new place later. Now, he must finish the task Selina gave to him.
They rushed inside to see the new Chaos Realm. They noticed right away that there were more portals connecting to two new floors.
The original three floors were also bigger and more lively.
Someone pointed to the sky. "What is that?"
