CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror
Chapter 391: Red & Yellow
The power of the Mimicry Mask disappeared. The plain worker transformed into the pale girl with dark hair and a black Ankh on her chest.
’Damn. Now there are two Goth girls!’ The black cat hugged its cheeks with its pawns and screamed in excitement.
Iris stood on the other side. She was almost identical to Selina, only slightly taller and more defined. This one was obviously focused on body strength and power while Selina was more lean and soft.
Iris’s expression softened for a moment. Then she frowned.
She grabbed the official and threw him backwards. The tall woman clapped her hands together. The wall beside Selina collided but was blocked by a Chaos Barrier Selina conjured.
"A Disaster." Iris clenched her fist. "So... Even with the Anti-Fate, the Pantheon got you."
"No one got me." Selina flicked her hand. Her Chaos pushed the wall back to its place.
Soldiers flooded to the hallway and surrounded Selina and the black cat.
Mater was completely nonchalant and licked his paw. He lived inside his own little world.
"My little baby can’t be a Disaster that quickly." Iris sighed. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
She pointed her index finger at Selina. A beam of Nether materialized.
Selina’s eyes glowed redder as two lines of burning laser shot out.
Optical Laser Beam. One of the first Psionics that Selina learned. Not it was Optical Spiral Beam, inspired by Mater’s own Nether Homing Beam.
The two red beams rotated in themselves and blasted toward the single purple beam.
Iris ducked down, letting those two beams carved onto the wall, piercing through the entire Lotus tower and shooting to the sky.
Iris took a deep breath in. In no world that she imagined that her little baby girl could be that powerful by herself. She must receive some kind of boon by the gods.
Iris stretched her fingers. A hidden blade shot out from within her sleeves. The small blade extended and enlarged into a large energized Psycho-Blade.
Selina smiled. A hint of madness in her eyes. She also took out her blade core and summoned her own Psycho-Blade.
"This is unnecessary, Mother." Selina said.
"Why are you here, Selina? The Pantheon sent you?" Iris said.
"No. I’m here to find you and father. But it seems like you are not listening to reasons." Selina said.
Iris lowered her Psycho-Blade. Then she gestured for the surrounding soldiers to back off.
"Speak then." Iris said.
"What did you do to yourself, Mother?" Selina scanned Iris’s body. She was obviously tainted by the Abyss and became a half Abomination.
"This is power, my dear." Iris said. "Us humans are too weak in front of the hells and heavens."
"So you borrow someone’s else power?" Selina said.
"Unfortunately, yes. I am. But don’t think lowly of me because of that. It’s the only way."
"I would never think lowly of you, Mother. I know how weak we can be in front of those monsters. But I do think you choose the wrong side, Mother."
"I beg your pardon?"
"Come and join us." Selina flicked her Psycho-Blade. It became even bigger and longer. "We are the Illuminati. We train Psychics to master their power. Psychics can become just as strong as the other species."
Iris shook her head. "Sigh. You don’t understand Selina. We have no way of consistently reach Disaster level. We are incomplete."
"We aren’t anymore." Selina smiled. "Psycho Realization."
"Oh, here it comes!" The black cat covered its mouth and looked around in excitement.
Iris noticed Mater.
’What is that talking cat? A Spirit Beast?’
Red shadows overlapped onto Selina. Her power was being amplified more and more with each shadow. Then, a large red armor wrapped around her.
Her hair became a bright blonde yellow. The armor glimmered in the night like burning hot coals.
The Psycho-Blade changed once more. It handled became an ancient medieval piece of relic and its red energized blade became green.
Iris widened her eyes for a little bit.
"You recognized this, Mother? This is Psycho Realization. One of the classes in the Institute." Selina said.
"Yes. I do." Iris said.
"This is how we get to Disaster Level. Not by borrowing power from another source."
Selina knew the hypocrisy when she said that. She knew that she was given this power by Mater. If she was alone, it would be much more difficult.
But Iris didn’t need to know that at the moment. She only needed to know the true potential of a Psychic.
"Show them what you got, Selina."
The red-armored girl lowered her body.
"Psionic... Time Dilation."
The world slowed down. The armor glowed brighter.
Selina disappeared from her location. When she reappeared again, the entire Lotus tower was sliced in half.
The upper half slid off and fell to the side, revealing the night sky and moonlight onto Selina and Iris.
Thomas reappeared again. He placed his hands on Iris’s shoulders.
’That is not our girl. She is but a copycat. Kill her!’
Thomas was invisible and no human could see her. Not even Selina.
But he couldn’t hide from the Octagram Eyes of the black cat.
"What do we have here? A pure Abomination."
Mater raised his paw. Black chains shot out from around Iris and wrapped around Thomas.
Iris snapped her head back and tried to rescue Thomas.
"Let him go!"
Her Psycho-Blade slammed onto the black chains but was blocked by the thick pink barrier of Multi-Layered Force Dome.
Selina closed her eyes briefly. When she opened again, her pupils were replaced with Octagram Chaos Eyes.
She, now, could see the true color of the Abomination.
It was not her father. Only a humanoid creature with a hideous face.
"That is not father."
Selina lowered her body again.
"No! Stop! Don’t kill him!" Iris growled.
Hellfire’s Chains shot out and restricted her.
"Just sit and see, mother-in-law." The black cat stroked his whiskers. "The truth shall be revealed shortly."
"Huh?" Iris was perplexed. Both by what the black cat just said and by the reality of the situation.
"Psionic... Daring Blade."
Selina swiped her Psycho Blade horizontally, creating a large blade fang that went over the body of the Abomination.
