"Can't sense any presence, it's all blocked by this eerie fog."

Entering Nether Immortal Valley, Gu Chenfeng tried to sense the surroundings, but could sense nothing.

Flame Shadow, while staying vigilant, asked, "Gu Chenfeng, have you never been here before?"

Gu Chenfeng shook his head and said, "Heard of it, never been here."

Just then.

"Roar!"

A deep and bell-like roar, frightening to hear, suddenly erupted.

Flame Shadow immediately jumped in fear and hastily said, "What is that sound? It feels like a terrifying beast roaring."

The roar seemed to come from the Nine Netherworld Hell, chilling one to the bone.

Gu Chenfeng remained calm and said, "Nether Immortal Valley is a forbidden area in the Immortal Realm, it's normal for there to be Immortal Beasts inside. You, a strong Immortal Emperor at the later stage, still afraid of this?"

"Who's afraid? I'm just being cautious." Flame Shadow retorted, "Besides, didn't that old man say it? Even after an Immortal Emperor enters, he falls and perishes."

"Roar!"

As soon as Flame Shadow finished speaking, a massive Immortal Beast suddenly rushed out of the fog.

In the situation where no presence could be sensed, the sudden roar startled both Gu Chenfeng and Flame Shadow.

This Immortal Beast was enormous, a few dozen zhang in size, exuding a black aura, its eyes gleaming with an eerie light, its sharp claws seemingly able to tear anything apart.

Cursing angrily, Flame Shadow reached out with his right hand into the air, slowly clenched his fist.

From afar, the massive Immortal Beast, as Flame Shadow slowly clenched his hand into a fist, its enormous body was gradually compressed under a terrifying force, visibly shrinking.

And finally vanished.

"That's what you get for scaring me!" Flame Shadow said viciously, "No matter how many of these kinds of Immortal Beasts come, I'll kill them all."

"Stop wasting time, with such commotion, surely other Immortal Beasts have been alerted, don't waste time, let's hurry and go." Gu Chenfeng threw out a sentence, and continued to walk deeper in.

The Nether Immortal Valley was vast, and the Netherworld Immortal Grass was extremely rare, and only found in the deepest parts, finding the Netherworld Immortal Grass was harder than reaching heaven.

Gu Chenfeng turned his head to look and saw mysterious light emanating from the cave entrance, with a faint mysterious power seeping out from it.

"This green light looks really terrifying, there must be something inside the cave. Should we go in and take a look?" Flame Shadow asked softly, feeling curious yet afraid something frightening might emerge from the cave.

Gu Chenfeng thought for a moment, then fearlessly said, "Let's go in and check it out."

Flame Shadow quickly caught up, softly asking, "Hey, you haven't told me what you sensed yet."

"You'll find out once we go in, won't you?" Gu Chenfeng grinned.

Both of them carefully stepped to the entrance of the cave.

Flame Shadow frowned and said, "What is this smell?"

Gu Chenfeng whispered, "The smell of herbs, wafting out from within the cave, it should be a precious Immortal Grass."

Inside the cave, a peculiar fragrance permeated the air, with strange green light flickering on the ground.

Upon closer inspection, one could see the ancient and mysterious symbols carved onto the cave walls, leaving people puzzled.

Flame Shadow curiously asked, "What are these? Symbols? I've never seen such strange symbols."

Gu Chenfeng furrowed his brow slightly and said, "Be careful, even though I can't sense any presence, I feel there might be danger in the cave."

"Could there be terrifying Immortal Beasts?" Flame Shadow asked worriedly, his expression becoming tense.

Even strong Immortal Emperors meet their end here, such a bizarre and frightening place. How could Flame Shadow not be afraid?

But just as Flame Shadow was speaking,

A deep growl came from the depths of the cave.

"You're kidding, right? There's really an Immortal Beast?" Flame Shadow was dumbfounded.

"Jinx," Gu Chenfeng turned back and glared at Flame Shadow.

Flame Shadow chuckled awkwardly, softly asking, "Should we still go in?"

Gu Chenfeng didn't reply, slowly heading towards the direction from which the sound came.

Flame Shadow reluctantly followed.

A few minutes later.

Gu Chenfeng and Flame Shadow arrived inside the cave, just in time to see a massive Nether Beast sleeping in front of them.

The scales of this Nether Beast shimmered with an eerie light, and with every breath, black flames spewed from its nostrils, scorching the surrounding air to the point of distortion.

The aura exuded by this Nether Beast was powerful, sending a chill down one's spine.

Glancing at the massive cave, Gu Chenfeng quickly spotted a herb emitting a faint white light.

"Indeed, it's Immortal Grass," Gu Chenfeng thought to himself, "The Immortal Grass contains immense and pure power, no wonder it's guarded by Immortal Beasts."

And just then.

The Nether Beast, which had been sleeping, suddenly opened its huge eyes.

The bloodthirsty eyes fixated on Gu Chenfeng and Flame Shadow, as a terrifying aura erupted from the Nether Beast.

"You have some nerve! To trespass into my territory and disturb my cultivation!" the Nether Beast roared angrily, its voice as thunderous as a bell.

"Middle Stage Immortal Venerable!" Sensing the terrifying aura of the Nether Beast, Flame Shadow's expression changed drastically, his eyes widening to the extreme.

Flame Shadow could hardly believe it; they had just entered the Nether Immortal Valley and encountered such a terrifying Immortal Beast.

"Roar!"

"Buzz!"

The Nether Beast suddenly opened its mouth and let out a deafening roar, unleashing an extremely terrifying and ferocious pressure, shaking the massive cave, making the entire mountain tremble violently.

"Gu Chenfeng, let's go!" Flame Shadow said in terror, wanting to pull Gu Chenfeng to escape.

However.

Gu Chenfeng remained unfazed and smiled faintly, "Why be afraid? We must at least take the Immortal Grass before leaving. Although it's not the Netherworld Immortal Grass, it can still help me break through to the Immortal King Realm."

"You're courting death by targeting the Immortal Grass!" the Nether Beast roared in anger, opening its mouth to bite at Gu Chenfeng.
