James Black’s palm supported the back of Jane Sampson’s head, gently rubbing, "That morning, I was really very angry."

"You have morning irritability, people, laziness is nature, sometimes wanting to be lazy is understandable," James Black said.

"Even I do sometimes, in the 365 days of a year, there are times when the desire to slack off occasionally comes up. If it’s too early and you can’t get up, you can tell me, we can discuss it, we can delay getting up by half an hour every day, it doesn’t matter."

Jane Sampson quietly lifted her head to look at James Black, her face holding back.

James Black glanced down at her, "Want to say something?"

Jane Sampson grinned, "Then let’s get up half an hour later from now on!"

James Black was amused again by Jane Sampson’s nature of brightening just with a bit of sunlight.

"The weather’s getting chilly, it’ll only get colder, waking up so early when it’s still dark," Jane Sampson pouted, "Waking up so early in the morning is really tough~"

"Okay." James Black nodded, smiling inwardly, thinking when she goes to the troop with him, she’d want to stay in bed for an extra half-hour, but she might not manage, as the troop’s wake-up call is clear to the family courtyard and dormitory building.

Jane Sampson laughed happily, held James Black’s face, and kissed him to express her joy.

"I will never do anything to worry you anymore, I swear, if I lie to you, then just ignore me forever." Jane Sampson vowed seriously, holding up four thumbs.

James Black flicked her forehead, "Is this punishing you or punishing me?"

"Anyway, I definitely won’t do such an unreasonable thing again, you just watch!" Jane Sampson shook her head to avoid James Black’s hand, covering her forehead to prevent another flick. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

James Black withdrew his hand without flicking her head again, but placed it on her waist, holding her tightly.

All of Jane Sampson’s willfulness and childishness were completely displayed in his eyes.

Apart from when she’s by his side, Jane Sampson is the independent, calm girl, a child of others who never causes worry, never disappoints.

In her past growing years, every day was lived according to the template others liked, according to that template.

And now, when she’s by his side, that’s her truest self.

No one is perfect, everyone has flaws, James Black can see Jane Sampson’s flaws, but sees more of her strengths.

And, he can accept all her flaws, indulge her little tempers that she never showed.

He is her most intimate person, also the one she trusts the most, in front of him, if she has to put on appearances, her life would be just a mask.

James Black isn’t afraid of Jane Sampson making mistakes, he knows, too, that when his girl makes mistakes, she will reflect, and he believes his girl will change.

Moreover, she always follows through.

"There’s one more thing." James Black rested his chin on Jane Sampson’s head, softly threatening, "In future, whether we argue or have a Cold War, you’re not allowed to unfollow me on my Twitter again, if you do it again, I’ll change the password to something you could never guess."

"You knew?" Jane Sampson stuck out her tongue a bit embarrassed, slowly raised her hand, making a surrender gesture, "I admit it was childish of me, although it felt satisfying at the time."
