"How is the investigation going over there?" Jane Sampson asked.

"Sigh, let me tell you, after looking into Sister Grace’s husband’s history, I’m starting to doubt if there are any good men in this world." Nina Rice replied, "So as soon as I got back, I came to see you and Brother James Black. I need to regain my faith in love."

James Black was standing in the doorway and suddenly said, "I had Alexander Forest buy your purse, you can go find him when you have the time."

Nina had changed her flight ticket at the last minute to come back, something James Black didn’t even know, let alone Alexander Forest.

"The woman that scumbag remarried used to be a hostess, not to sound too harsh, but as long as you pay, she’s available to anyone," Nina said, spreading her hands wide, "A typical case of someone who values money over people."

"But she’s really good at wooing men. I checked out the clubhouse where she used to work, and that woman was practically the club’s Queen of Beauty. That scumbag met her there, and he still doesn’t know that while he was with her, she had multiple investors behind the scenes."

Nina paused, thinking, and found just one sentence to describe it, "That circle is unimaginably messy."

"Sister Grace takes care of four elderly family members in the countryside, and looks after their young daughter. To make ends meet, she also has to find the time to pick up piecework from a factory, staying up late to earn about four or five hundred a month.
